  1. // **** Temp directory **** // if you changed your directory structure from stock and do not have /catalog/temp/, then you'll need to change this accordingly. // // Please set DOCUMENT_ROOT to $DOCUMENT_ROOT in your /downtown/admin/includes/configure.php $tempdir = '/downtown/tmp/'; $tempdir2 = 'downtown/tmp'; Easy populate did not update my inventory when I tried it. I tried everything to get this to work. After about a week, I finally found the right combination. For my site, I have set the DOCUMENT_ROOT to $DOCUMENT_ROOT and the temp directories as seen above. Notice that in tempdir2 there are no preceeding and following slashes. 'downtown' is my folder for 'catalog' I hope this helps those of you still looking for the answer. Buck

    Doesn't update database

I made some progress, but it is still not working. Below, I show the two changes I made. Before I made the changes, I could not find the file curinv.txt, which contained my updated inventory data. After the changes, I was able to find the file in 'public_html/tmp'. I am still having no luck when I enter 'curinv.txt' in the 'Import from Temp Dir (/tmp)'. please, somebody help. This is all I have left to finish to go live with my site. Thank you, buck
  3. I installed easy populate today. I carefully followed the instructions that came with it, tried to follow the instructions in the file (see below) and followed the instructions in EasyPopulateExtraDocumentation.doc. To the best of my knowlege, I have everything done correctly. However, I don't understand the issue about The size of products model. I may have something wrong there. What I have done is delete all the software products from my table as well as the Die Hard movie. I have the original table that I am trying to re-import into the database. When I upload the 'EP' file, it doesn't show up in my tmp folder. When I use FTP to move the file to the folder, it doesn't update the database with it. I am not getting any kind of error message, just a message saying the process is complete. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong? Thanks Buck Towncorp.net
  4. Is there a contribution that allows a customer to buy shipping insurance when making a purchase regardless of the shipping method? I don't want to force all of them to pay for insurance. Thank you, Buck

    edit pages info

This didn't work so well for me so when I reinstalled osC, I elected not to use it. :( Buck
  6. Edit Pages Info I installed the above contribution. It gives a list of options to edit including: Shipping Privacy About us Conditions Define Mainpage Header When I click on Mainpage, I get an internal error: TEXT_FILE_DOES_NOT_EXIST When I click on Header, I get my default 404 page meaning the page or file does not exist. Thank you, Buck
