Hi Tom Sorry about the delay in following up on your assistance, but was working on another urgent project and have only just had the chance to get back to this. The debug messages kept coming and then I got your post and inserted the extra debug code and in typical fashion, they stopped coming. So I didnt need the extra debug check. Thank you anyhow for your help it is very much appreciated. The cart still fails to clear, but this is obvisouly connected to something else entirely, probably conflicting mods of some sort and I will have to investigate that further. Thanks again :) Marg

Hi, hope someone has some experience with this issue and therefore a quick answer. :) I have installed Papal IPN 3.15 and after some headaches it is working fine, the order is processed, the payment is completed, the Paypal IPN number is recorded in admin, the customer gets the approproate order email, the stock is reduced etc. However, when the customer is returned to the 'payment successful thankyou page' the shopping cart contents have not been cleared and remain in the cart until the customer logs out. I turned on 'cart test' and 'debug emails' and I get the following message: "An unknown POST from 216.113.188.202 was received. Are you running any tests?" I would guess that a final post from Paypal is not being received and therefore the cart is not cleared?? Anyone have any ideas on where to look to rectify this? Hope someone can help. Marg

Hi I am having exactly the same trouble myself. Would appreicate it if you could post what the snippet of missing code in checkout_process.php was? Also, did you have any luck getting the stock quantity to decrease after a PayPal purchase? Marg :)
