I had added about 400 items to my store ALL via EP, lots of which have attributes, at times attributes from "other" items would get into other items that "also" have attributes, but I would just delete that upload and re-upload....at times it fixed the problem, at times it took about 2-3 deletes and re-uploads before it fixed.....BUT....in my last upload of about 60 items, of which quite a few had attributes...the same $hit started happening...but this time deleteing and re-uploading wasn't fixing the problem..take alook at what I mean: screwed up options its suppose to be gold, silver...pen only is the attribute from another item......???? :angry: And I am suppose to be launching on Monday....     Steve, what if UPS makes changes to their site layout, or changes in general, then the contribution wont work, similar to when you entered old tracking numbers? My question is why cant one just use the XML tools provided by UPS?....does anyone know how to intergrate those to work with OSC? And I still would like to know in regards to UPS XML Rates & Service 1.02 Contribution , wether this will work if a customer has in their cart items shipping from various zip codes? I contacted UPS in regards to using their online XML tools and this is the response: "Thank you for using UPS OnLine Tools. We have received your e-mail requesting technical support. Please note that the Rates & Service Selection HTML tool only displays the UPS rates in a pre-formatted web page. If you need the shipping charges added to the shopping cart total, you will need to use the Rates & Service Selection XML tool. Now, in response to your question, the Rates & Service Selection tool provides rates based on the origin and destination information that you provide. Technically, the Rates & Service Selection tool will not handle the multiple points of origin. It is up to your application to determine the appropriate origin location for the shipment and provide that information to the Rates & Service Selection tool. The tool will then return the rate(s) based on the supplied origin and destination addresses." So this means the tools offered on the UPS site can work its a matter of someone knowing how to address that last part?......anyone know how.....Steve? :) Thanks, Jon
  5. does anyone use this contribution: UPS XML Update 1.02 Alot of us here use dropshippers, so my question is: what if the customers cart contains items shipping from different distributors, will this contribution rertieve rates for each item?     One thumbnail, One Big picture?

I assume this one uses 1 image and dynamically resizes images as defined right? Doesn't the "sm, med, lg" contribution require 3 images, taking up more space?...the reason i ask is because I have about 10,000 items and having 3 separate images for each would take up ALOT of room...so I myself needs something dynamic...any suggestions? My Webpage its not done, but suggestions/comments, good or bad are welcome. Thanks, jon

I am not the one doing any of the programming on my site being that I am not a programmer, but I am using EasyPopulate and need to determine how does it handle attributes...and honestly I dont even know the meaning of my own question, I am trying to get some answers for my developer as they are in the middle of working with it as we speak.... Can anyone give me the drill on "EP 101" or "Atributtes 101", just to have a general idea, or anyone currently using it succesfully on their site that may be able to pm me or get in touch with my developer...is VERY APPRECIATED...     hey thanks...unfortunately im not the one doing any of the installs or any programming work because I dont know how to do any of that :( ..but when the time come which my current developer is completing the site in a wekk to 2 weeks, and he gets to that point would it be possible I put him in touch with you?   13. Does anyone currently have an RA or Return Authorization system in place on their OSC site? I have some RA forms that I would like to use on my site so that when a customer wants to return an item, they 1st request an RA# via the RA form, in which they enter order # and items #'s of merchandise wanting to be returned. Upon on my end receiving this I on my site in particular have a 5 day policy uop order receipt, so I look at the order, if its over 5 days of receipt..no RA, if within 5 days I issue an RA# that expires in 5 days... That is what I am looking to acomplish, and preferably if the whole thing can be automated...but will settle for anything.... Any ideas/help to acomplish this? I would be most appreciative... I am going to be using Verisign's Pay Flo Link, does anyone currently have or use acontribution that has worked for them that can comment & or share, I was reading up on this one in particaluar: http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,967/page,3 is anyone using this one, if so can you comment on wether its bug free, does it work properly, or is there a better one out there.
