random dropped order issue - Form v1.2

Hey, No didn't get any further with this issue im afraid - after no joy on this issue, i spent 2 weeks trying to make sagepay server work with our store and just get errors all the time. Sagepay tech have been exactly no help at all and I'm considering moving to another payment gateway if I cant get it working this weekend. Will keep you posted if I manage it. I have found forums where people have this issue but noone explains how to solve it. Anyone? This seems to be a rather serious issue.

Sage Pay Server V1.1 Invalid IP address

One more here with the same issue: Order not logged in osc, customer charged, then told that card had been declined. 3 times in the last 4 months. All other orders are fine(about 20 per month), so its pretty random. Gotta be an answer somewhere - a previous post mentioned that its the $cartid variable that is the issue, and that it can be written out of the module to provide a solution to this problem. Although I have no idea of the implications of doing this. Its the last post in this thread on page 2. If anyone can provide the instructions for not including the $cartid variable in the module(its only 2 pages i think) so I can give it a try and report back here - that would be great. I'd give it a punt myself but i'm not a coder and unbdoutably will totally mess it up. I'm pretty good with instructions though. B.

    [Contribution] STS v4

Hi, I posted about this in the other STS thread - apologies if it's in the wrong place, there's 2! My STS installation works fine up until checkout_confirmation.php where the template seems to just break. I cant find out why. I've tried forcing the table widths, some css but to no avail. I have installed Agree2terms1.7 on the checkout_confirmation page, but I don't see this to be the issue as its displaying in the correct space - just the center content seems to have 60 or 70px padding either side that is coming from nowhere and pushing out the side of my template and making things a little messy. I implemented this bug fix but it didn't work for me : As mentioned above this does not work for me at all. As there was a fix for this, can anyone tell me what the issue is so I can try to get around it, or does anyone know of abother fix or work around for this. Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated as its driving me mental now.

    [contribution] Simple Template System (sts)

Hi, I have an issue with checkout_confirmation.php in that it seems to break my sts template by defaulting the center content to 1000px wide approx regardless of the template, thus pushing my right column over and making a mess. I've implemented the bug fix found on here but this has not made a difference to the result when displaying the page. Ive tried with a little css, and forcing table width but to no avail. To my knowledge ive only added the contribution to 'check terms before purchase'(Agree2Terms_v1.7.1) to this page. Could this be the issue? Anyway, what is the reason there was an issue with checkout_confirmation.php busting the sts template, and any pointer in the right direction of how to sort it would be sweet. Thanks in advance for any help given. B
  8. Hi, I'm having an issue at the moment, i'm using Sagepay Form v1.2 VERY intermittantly (twice in the last 6 months or so) we get a customer phone up saying they tried to place an order and the site returned a transaction failed error for them, only for them to find that they had actually been charged for the order. Furthermore, there is no record of the order placed in oscommerce. I know, right. Anyway, after some hefty searching I found this this thread in which the very last post pretty much describes the issue i'm having, and indeed a solution to it happening. Solution follows: If the above is to be believed, then my solution would be to write the $cartid variable out of the module - from what i understand. Im no programmer but looking at the module this wouldn't look to be a massive issue - although I'd clearly mess it up and be back here in minutes asking for more help so..... So my questions are thus: 1) has anyone else heard of this issue other than me, floob last december, and tigergirl 18 months or so ago? 2) does this sound like it could actually be a solution to my issue? 2) what are the implications of writing the $cartid variable out of the module? 3) and err.. how do i do it? tigergirl if you read this, did you manage to solve this issue? Huge thanks for any info on this. B
  9. As the title suggests, I need 3 flat rates for shipping within the UK dependent on whether I am sending to Mainland Uk, Scottish Highlands or UK Outer-Lying Islands. Ive been round and round on this, thought it would be easy, but now i just think I'm stupid. I'm currently trying the MultiGeoZone MultiTable contribution but seem to be running in to issues I just can't solve. Have posted those issues in this thread, but am looking for other alternatives. Any help, ideas or alternate suggestions would be mucho appreciato! Thanks, Bryn

    MultiGeoZone MultiTable Shipping

Hi, Having some issues with this module - actually I think im probably being thick but either way I am having trouble getting my head around doing something that I thought would be simple: I been around and around on this, different threads, different sites, things that come close but I can't find or decypher my answer anywhere. This is the deal: I am shipping only to the UK and need 3 shipping zones each with a flat rate no matter what is bought. Easy eh...erm, no. 1. Right I have set up my 3 zones in Admin under locations/taxes/tax zones:- Shp: Mainland UK, Shp: Scottish Highlands and Shp: Uk Islands - no worries. 2. I have added the correct areas for each shipping zone. 3. Then went to Modules/shipping and enabled MultiGeoZone MultiTable. 4. I was then able to configure zones 1 , 2 and 3 to the the shipping zones I had created, and add a flat rate price(i presume if you put it in the 'handling fee' field this would be correct, but no info on flat rates so just guessing). This is as far as I get - I try to order something, and add my address as say 'inverness' to check(im in wales) it but after filling out my details I'm taken to the shipping page to confirm my shipping address and clicking on 'continue' does absolutely nothing, just reloads the page. Have I done something wrong here...scratching my head, beginnig to swear. TIA for any input or help offered. Bryn
  11. OK next problem. I believe this to be a version problem and nothing to do with this contribution but I thought I'd just check and make sure with you guys first. I can now create a coupon and enter it when paying for stuff but when I go to 'confirm' after entering my code i get this 1064 - You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'or z2g.zone_id = 0 or z2g.zone_id IS NULL ) ' at line 5 SELECT dc2z.geo_zone_id FROM discount_coupons_to_zones dc2z LEFT JOIN zones_to_geo_zones z2g USING( geo_zone_id ) WHERE ( z2g.zone_id= or z2g.zone_id = 0 or z2g.zone_id IS NULL ) AND ( z2g.zone_country_id= or z2g.zone_country_id = 0 ) AND dc2z.coupons_id="0GTRV9" I think its a osc version problem that I have but wondered if anyone has an easy way around it or can confirm this for me. Thanks in advance. B.
  12. Hey TracyS, Just wanted to say thanks - you got it straight away - just missed out the extra code. Thanks for your swift response, Star. B.
  13. Hey Guys, I just did a manual install of this contribution and all went well. I was able to install the contribution and go to admin/modules and set up the discout coupon stuff. Next it said to go to catalog/discount coupons which is where I run in to problems - there is no option for 'discount coupons' at all - the destructions say to check that these 2 certain files are uploaded(which they are), but I'm still not getting any joy. Anyone tell me what I missed out installing it to make the options not appear in the admin section after installing the module? I can still see and edit the module its self just can t creat e teh discount codes etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated. B.

Protx Direct - Credit card errors

Ohh .. just tried it one more time with the cvv as 123 and it seemed to have worked. Am I correct in saying that in test mode you can't actaully use a real card to test it? Sorry....I'm still fumbling my way around osc. Thanks again. B

Protx Direct - Credit card errors

Hey Tom, Cheers for giving me a hand. Tried to change the street address details on my test customer account to 88 and the postcode to 412 but it tells me it cant take less than 4 characters in the postcode, and 5 in the street address. Any Ideas or am I just being a spaz. I took a look at the protx table in phpmyadmin, what should I be looking for? The status included this though: 'VSP Simulator has found the vendor ''cy%&$£%$al'' in the database but it is not enabled for VSP Di' What should I be looking for? It has been working on a different server until about a week ago. I have registered the new servers 2 ip adresses with protx as well. Would this be a problem at Protx's end with the implementation of the new way their sytem works etc? Or have I missed a meeting and not done something obvious. The protx mod is set to 'Test' mode and the Authorization type is set to 'Payment'. Thanks again, I appreciate your input. B
