    [contribution] STS PLUS v4

    My stupid fault. I'd deleted the reference to product_info.php in the product_info module configuration. sorry for clogging the forum with my stupidity.

    I think the problem may be that I'm running with register_globals off. From what I can see in the STS Plus code, in sts_product_info.php, the problem comes from the line: global $template_pinfo; I'm now trying to find where $template_pinfo is populated, so that I can see if there's a way of passing the information other than using a global. Any suggestions appreciated :)

    Hello! I'm working on a complete redesign of standard OSCommerce, using STS Plus 4.07. I've only hit one problem so far but I can't see anyone else mention this in the forums. When I enable the product_info module and then visit a product page, I get: Warning: uksort(): The argument should be an array in /home/dogsrule/public_html/includes/modules/sts/sts_product_info.php on line 103 Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/dogsrule/public_html/includes/modules/sts/sts_product_info.php on line 106 Can anyone tell me what information should be in the arguments that uksort() and foreach() expect? That way, I can maybe work out what the problem is. Of course, I'll post any solutions that I find. I wondered if it might be because I've altered the product listing links so that they don't put the manufacturer id in the URL. However, when I reinstated that I still got the problem and, because I haven't set any manufacturers up, it was showing up as: manufactuer_id= i.e. there was no manufacturer id. Of course, that could be part of the problem, because that would change the arguments passed to sts_product_info.php, I imagine. Also, it doesn't translate any of the STS tags I put in the file. Any help appreciated :) Matthew.

    Thanks Chris. I think I'm going to rewrite product_listing.php, as I'm after a fairly radical change in the look, plus info used, in the product listings. Cheers!

    Has anyone customised the product/category listing using STS/STS Plus? I'm currently creating a fairly radical redesign using STS Plus but am struggling to find out where to edit the OSCommerce code to produce a category/product listing that'd fit in with my design.

    Ah, I've found this contribution that does the job! http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,3978/

    Has anyone had any luck customising the design of login.php, using STS Plus? I'm currently trying to hack my way through the code in login.php to see how I could create custom STS Plus tempalte tags to produce the forms. The main problem I've found is separating out the code from the design, as ever with OSc. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

    Does anyone know of an easy way to create a last name STS Plus tag? I've spent much of the afternoon trying to find a way to do it without doing my own database query - I assume the data is in a variable somewhere already :) I'll continue to fiddle and if I find something, I'll post it here. If not, any advice you can offer would be greatly appreciated :)

    If it's of help to anyone else, I've also created a tag to show the current value of the cart's contents. $sts->template['cartvalue'] = $currencies->format($cart->show_total())

    I added the following to sts_user_code.php: $sts->template['cartcount'] = $cart->count_contents() Which gives me a $cartcount STS Plus variable.

    Does STS Plus have variables to display the number of items and the value of the items currently in the cart? Perhaps I've missed it in the docs, so sorry if I have. Just wanted to make sure before I started delving into the info box code :)

    Hello, I've been trying to evaluate OSCommerce and Zen Cart for a while now. STS Plus makes me think OSCommerce is the system to go with :) I've just tried adding STS Plus to a fresh OSCommerce install. In the Modules section of the Admin interface I clicked the Install button. It seems that nothing happened; however, when I view the cart I receive an error message: In the STS Plus docs it said to enable the STS module, but I haven't seen an option to do that. I've pretty much described exactly what I did. I tried it twice , with the same results. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance :) Matthew.
