    I'm having ONE small difficulty with this contrib... I just finished a clean install of OScommerce, and added the 19 Aug 2006 version of STS 4.2 with headertags. for some odd reason, the info boxes on the left hand side displays 'BOX_INFORMATION_CONDITIONS' along with the regular shipping & returns, privacy and contact us pages. I'm actually trying to get rid of the conditons of use link completely... can someone shed some light on what I'm missing? BTW, www.azelectron.com is the URL. the link in the left column appears on every page. thanks in advance.
  3. Ok, I have just discovered that the "Login.php" page, (My account) IS working properly. I have the oscommerce page heading, and the default meta tag info. here's the code from the top of THAT page: <html> <head> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1"> <title>osCommerce :</title> <meta name="Description" content="osCommerce : What\'\'\'s New Here? - Hardware Software DVD Movies"/> <meta name="Keywords" content="Hardware Software DVD Movies What\'\'\'s New Here?"/> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1"/> <!-- EOF: Generated Meta Tags -->
  4. HI, Jack. I've disabled STS, the site still works, but I'm still not seeing any changes. here's what the top of my home page, catagory page and product page looks like. <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN"> <html dir="LTR" lang="en"> <head> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1"> <base href="http://XXXXXXXXX.com/catalog/"> <!-- start get_javascript(applicationtop2header) //--> <!-- end get_javascript(applicationtop2header) //--> <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="stylesheet.css"> </head> <body> <table border="1" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="0" width="100%"> I'm not sure if that helps.... I'm starting to get lost here :blink:

    Hi! THANKS for a GREAT contribution. I'm having one small problem with STS 4.1 however. I'm using STS 4.1 and headertags V2.5.9. All installed very smoothly. however, now I have lost all my page headers: store logo, My Cart info, etc.... everthing at the top of the page. can someone please provide some insight, or point me in the right direction, please? Thanks in advance. Link to my homepage.... without logo
  7. Hi, Jack. I have a new, clean install this time around :D I have STS V4.1 running I have HTC version 2.5.9 installed, no install errors, all clean. (I left the original database in place, I did not do any DB changes since my original install) complied with all the included stuff for STS. the only problem I'm having now is that HTC does not seem to be doing anything... no errors when filling the header tags this time, but the headers aren't changing.... not seeing 'osCommerce' in the header bar, not seeing any changes at all. Any Idea if I missed something this time around?? thanks in advance! Jim B.
  8. I managed to get it all squared away by reading, re-reading then again re-reading the stylesheet.css file :-" I guess I just needed a couple hours rest. :blush:
  9. Ok, Narrowed down further. the infobox color was transparent. I changed it to FFFFFF (white) now the info box is fine, but when the product text is longer than the infobox, the area BELOW the infobox is still grey. (I did finally find the color for the category header backgound though in the stylesheet.)
  10. I've narrowed this down a bit. for some odd reason, the backgound color of the infobox is grey, ONLY on the product pages.... and the bar (on the category page) is colored grey. I can't seem to locate these in the stylesheet either.
  11. Hi, first THANK YOU for a great contribution. I've gotten most of my shop settled out, but there's one nagging problem I'm still having. I have my home page looking nicely, and essentially want to use it as the template for all the other pages. I DO plan on using the header tags contribution. I can not seem to locate which files I need to format to have the manufacturers pages and product pages use templates based on my index.php.html file. can someone please lend a hand, I'm sure it's staring me right in the mug. Thanks very much for any help. Jim B.
  12. Hi again, Jack. :'( I'm still having issues with this. I have double checked everything from the admin setup portion, but it still throws this same error. is it possible to back out the changes to the database and start again there? (I DID of course back up my DB and site,) or would it be better to just revert to the backed up database, or do you think I should start fresh by reverting the entire site and database, and try again?? your help and patience is more than appreciated. :rolleyes:
  13. Hmmm... I already had that commented out, it caused a "can not declare twice" (or similar wording) error. I'm still stuck, the error occurs for any product, category or manufacturer that I fill the tags for. if I clear all the tags, the error goes away.
  14. Hi, Jack. Yes, I did, although in my install the page is named "sts_display_output.php", not "sts_output.php" I don't have any file named sts_output.php.
  15. I'm sorry, I've been reading this post and searching the forums till I'm blind. I can not seem to solve the following. I have STS installed, and HeaderTags_V_2.5.9. setup for both catalog and admin went fairly well. now, anytime I use "admin-header tags-fill tags", all seems ok, until I go to any page that I have filled. I then get the following error Fatal error: Call to undefined function: clean_html_comments() in /hsphere/local/home/XXXXXXXX/XXXXX.com/catalog/includes/header_tags.php on line 208 (My actual site path appears where the XXXXXXX/XXXXX is.) if I clear the tags, the error goes away. I've made sure I have clean_html_comments in the correct location, I can not find any files missng. Jack, are you out there?? can someone please point me in the right direction? thanks in advance.
