    Problems with AusPost Calculations

I have found the problem. In Configuration/Shipping "Large packages - percentage increase" was set to 30%. When I set it to 0% it calculates correctly. Do you know what the "Large packages" thing is, and under what circumstances it is used in the calculation? My package size in the AustPOST module was set to the default 100 x 100 x 100 which is hardly large. Thank you for your interest Leslie. I really appreciate it.

    Problems with AusPost Calculations

Yes, insurance is set to false and I am using the Australian Shipping Module V3.01 (complete package). It is quite a mystery. If I set the weight to 0.38kg it returns the correct value... 0.39 seems to trip it over into the next weight category. I have installed it into my localhost and online shops and they both return the incorrect value.

    Problems with AusPost Calculations

Hello all, I have set up the AustPOST shipping module and everything except the calculation seems to be OK. Using ParcelPOST as an example: An 0.39kg parcel sent from postcode 3116 > 2116 is calculated as $8.55 in osC whereas if I go to the Australia Post online calculator the result is $5.20, which I think is correct for a parcel under 500g. I also have the tare weight set to 0.00 and I have left the package sizes as the default 100 x 100 x 100 Any suggestions welcome.

    [Contribution] oscThumb

    Change the tep_draw_separator function in html_output.php from: // Output a separator either through whitespace, or with an image function tep_draw_separator($image = 'pixel_black.gif', $width = '100%', $height = '1') { return tep_image(DIR_WS_IMAGES . $image, '', $width, $height); } //// to: // Output a separator either through whitespace, or with an image function tep_draw_separator($image = 'pixel_black.gif', $width = '100%', $height = '1') { return tep_image_original(DIR_WS_IMAGES . $image, '', $width, $height); } //// Note that the function returns the parameters to the renamed 'tep_image_original' To the authors - this is a really excellent contribution. The installation and documentation was excellent too. Many Thanks.

    Article Manager v1.0

I think I have found the answer here. It appears to be related to the fact that MySQL 5 requires an integer in the Integer field! - in this case configuration_id. This means that when it hits the [VALUES ('', 'Display New Articles Link', etc] part of the INSERT statement an error is generated because the way of specifying a default entry with the two apostrophes [('',] is no longer valid - even for auto-increment fields. Well, if it wants an integer - give it one. Just check the last configuration_id number used in the configuration table and then load the next numbers into VALUES, incrementing as you go. e.g. VALUES ('143', 'Display New Articles Link', etc ... VALUES ('144', 'Number of Days Display New Articles', etc ... VALUES ('145', 'Maximum New Articles Per Page', etc ... It worked for me. Another problem my syntax highlighter picked up was on line 14 of the SQL file: 'The maximum length of the author\'s name for display in the Author box', The apostrophe in author\'s, even though it was preceded by a backslash caused problems. I removed the backslash and the apostrophe and all was forgiven :P Please note that this is clearly a work-around. It would be much better if there was someone out there who could come up with the correct MySQL 5 syntax for handling an auto-increment field rather than manually inserting values. In the mean time I hope this helps.

That is just the section of code reported by phpMyAdmin. It has been truncated. But thanks for your reply. Everything is worth checking.

    Article Manager v1.0

Is Article Manager 1.5 compatible with PHP5/MySQL5 ? In attempting to run the SQL file supplied I get the following error: INSERT INTO configuration( configuration_id, configuration_title, configuration_key, configuration_value, configuration_description, configuration_group_id, sort_order, last_modified, date_added, use_function, set_function ) VALUES ( '', 'Display New Articles Link', 'DISPLAY_NEW_ARTICLES', 'true', 'Display a link to New Articles in the Articles box?', 456, 1, now( ) , now( ) , NULL , 'tep_cfg_select_option(array(\'true\', \'false\'),' ) #1264 - Out of range value adjusted for column 'configuration_id' at row 1 I would be very grateful if anyone can help with this.

    Easy Populate & Products Attributes

I am having trouble importing data into Easy Populate. I can download and edit files in tab deliniated format but not import them. I don't get error messages, just no data. I am running oscommerce in localhost mode on a Windows XP machine. My catalog is located at D:\Program Files\Apache Group\Apache2\htdocs\catalog, and I have created a temp directory as required under catalog. I think from what I have read in the posts that my problems are likely to be associated with tempdir and document root settings in configure.php., but I just can't get it right. If anyone is able to assist with specific configure.php line entries I would be very grateful. Many thanks, Michael
  11. I am aware that much has been written about Easy Populate import problems but unfortunately I cannot find the specific detail I need in the posts.
