I've successfully installed the two above mentioned contributions. They work great together! It took some time and some tweaking but independently they are great. I need to now be able to download the data from my newly added extra fields from using Easy Populate. Vice Versa, I need to be able to upload new data using my Easy Populate .csv to add data to my store. I've taken the time to configure Easy Populate by turning Extra Fields on. Can ANYONE help me? I am currently pulling my hair out to get this to work.

Goanna, I believe you are having the same problem as I. I just found where => $iii++, was in the code of easypopulate.php and right above it is " $filelayout = array". So, I just assumed this was the right spot... I haven't finished with the install yet, but I will be sure to let you know my outcome.

Someone please help. I start to install the New Fields with Easy Populate and the first step, I can't find the the data in my easypopulate.php file. Am I looking at the wrong file for editing?

Well, I have searched the forums for the phrase "wrong operand type" and I get nothing! I just installed pdf maker and at first i get and error about unsupported images. so, i changed all of my .gif to .jpg. than the error i get after that is wrong operand type. this is after i click my pdf.gif image and at first it seems as if adobe is going to create the pdf (i get a preview for a few seconds), than i get a blank white page in adobe. than i get an error box that says wrong operand type. does anyone know what this is?

Amanda, I understand that somewhere in my DB, I can find out about what image extensions are allowed. But what am I searching for and how do I fix it? I have the following error after I click on my pdf.gif image: FPDF error: Unsupported image file type: gif someone please help. I followed the instructions to install pdf maker to the "tee." But it is not working. Also, I cannot get the text "Click on the Acrobat-Symbol to download this page as a PDF-Document." to show up beside my pdf.gif image. What is that about? Someone please help ASAP. I have been working on this error for a week!

I'm having problem changing my $document_root in admin/includes/configure.php. I downloaded and installed easy populate. but i can't seem to change the php correctly. The instructions state to change $DOCUMENT_ROOT. But it doesn't say what line in the code or what to take out! Someone please help.

I believe the problem with NO EMAILS is my web host. I must have some kind of restrictions. I will reply here when I find out...

I have a bigger problem than first thought. I can't send ANY emails from any section of my admin. Apparently I never have, i.e. product notifications, new customer emails or the send mail option in admin. Can you point me in the right direction on how to fix this? Do I have to have certain mailing rights from my web host? Can I download software to use with my site? What? I'm at the point where I would like to launch my website and I can't be fully functional without the email working. Thanks in advance.

Ok scottyb, First of all, thanks for the quick reply. I played around with my newsletter templates for a very long time, and I did get the module to work, which I couldn't before. But I still would like to have more control of how the products display. For instance, the products lay out in a horizontal row (I have only two test products), how do I get them to lay vertical? Sending Emails. Yes, the screen lets me know the correct number of newsletters to send out, than I press send. Once I press send I see the Animated GIF that says "Please wait .. sending emails .. Please do not interrupt this process!" and than in red it reads "Finished sending emails!" But when I check my test account, no email ever comes. I don't know anything about changing the function for sending an html email. How do I go about doing this?
