  1. I am getting this error:Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_DOUBLE_ARROW in /home/content/k/u/s/kustomjs/html/catalog/includes/classes/order.php on line 68

    here is the code:

    'shipping_method' => ((substr($shipping_method['title'], -1) == ':') ? substr(strip_tags($shipping_method['title']), 0, -1) : strip_tags($shipping_method['title'])));

    //Tracking contribution begin

    'ups_track_num' => $order['ups_track_num'], <---- here is the error i am getting

    'usps_track_num' => $order['usps_track_num'],

    'fedex_track_num' => $order['fedex_track_num'],

    'fedex_freight_track_num' => $order['fedex_freight_track_num'],

    'dhl_track_num' => $order['dhl_track_num'],

    //Tracking contribution end

    The problem is that the code was inserted in the wrong place - it should be before 'shipping_method' to work (ie. the note on the instructions).

  2. Has anyone here got CCGV going with Register Globals ON?

    Cheers

    Susan

    Yes, I have it working except for the problem I mentioned above with Register Globals ON. I just followed the instructions and triple checked them because there were so many changes.

    BTW, does anyone even know where to point me to look for the problem I mentioned above?

    Here it is again:

    I have an issue that occurs after sending a Gift Voucher by email from a logged in account. After sending the email, it goes to a confirmation page, but instead of "Success!" or something like that, it outputs "gv" followed by the redemption code that is sent to the friend by email and that is it - nothing else. Any ideas?

  3. Vger,

    I have been testing your contrib. Love it! Thanks!

  4. Hi I installed the mod, latest download with added comments fix. Whenever I click "update" I get the update posted twice. The emails go out just fine one time but the posts on the site are duplicated. Also, none of the tracking links on the customer's order history are there.

    May someone please assist? Thank you.

    Thanks for using my contribution. Did you use the drop in version or did you use the instructions? Please check your catalog/account_history_info.php file to make sure all the mods were made properly and that the defines are there in catalog/includes/database_tables.php and catalog/includes/languages/english/account_history_info.php and the mods were made in catalog/includes/classes/order.php properly per the instructions.

  5. Is there a way to implement tracking with this contribution for UK shipping services?

    -Initial Citylink

    -Parcelforce 48

    -Royal Mail

    If not does anyone know of a contribution which can do this?

    Will this contribution work if I am using UPS or Fedex from the UK ?

    -Ramsay

    Yes, it would work, the code would need to be modified every place ups, usps, fedex, fedex freight, dhl are mentioned to reflect your local carriers and in admin/orders.php, the database sql would need to reflect your carriers and all links in tracking.php and admin/orders.php would need to reflect the tracking pages for your carriers. So, it would take a bit of work, but it could be done relatively easily.

  6. Hello everybody,

    I've uploaded and update for those who tried to use the integrated files for an UNMODIFIED store.

    7 Jan 07 - Changes made to 22 Dec 06 version:

    ------------------------------------------------

    (Package Tracking with Email Mods v1.53)

    I had accidentally deleted the "Comments" form in admin/orders.php in the integrated files included for upload on an UNMODIFIED osCommerce store. It has now been corrected.

    Below is the missing code in admin/orders.php

    find:

    <!-- Tracking contribution begin -->
    <?php
    	$usps_track_link = 'http://trkcnfrm1.smi.usps.com/PTSInternetWeb/InterLabelInquiry.do?origTrackNum= ' . $order->info['usps_track_num'];
    	$ups_track_link = 'http://wwwapps.ups.com/etracking/tracking.cgi?InquiryNumber1= ' . $order->info['ups_track_num'] . '&InquiryNumber2=&InquiryNumber3=&InquiryNumber4=&InquiryNumber5=&TypeOfInquiryNumber=T&UPS_HTML_Version=3.0&IATA=us&Lang=en&submit=Track+Package ';
    	$fedex_track_link = 'http://www.fedex.com/cgi-bin/tracking?tracknumbers=' . $order->info['fedex_track_num'] . '&action=track&language=english&cntry_code=us';
    	$fedex_freight_track_link = 'http://www.fedex.com/cgi-bin/tracking?tracknumbers=' . $order->info['fedex_freight_track_num'] . '&action=track&language=english&cntry_code=us';
    	$dhl_track_link = 'http://track.dhl-usa.com/atrknav.asp?ShipmentNumber=' . $order->info['dhl_track_num'] . '&action=track&language=english&cntry_code=us';
    ?>

    and add this before it:

    	  </tr>
      <tr><?php echo tep_draw_form('status', FILENAME_ORDERS, tep_get_all_get_params(array('action')) . 'action=update_order'); ?>
    	<td class="main"><?php echo tep_draw_textarea_field('comments', 'soft', '60', '5'); ?></td>
      </tr>
      <tr>
    	<td><?php echo tep_draw_separator('pixel_trans.gif', '1', '10'); ?></td>
      </tr>

    that should fix it.

  7. Gabriel,

    This probably has a simple answer:

    # Install phpBB & osCommerce (not included).

    # Important: use the same administrator name and password

    # for phpBB and osCommerce.

    I just have the default admin install of osCommerce and there is no administrator name and password - not even an option to have one (so I password protected the admin directory from my cpanel). What contribution do I need to install to have an administrator name and password? Thanks!

  8. I also found this in the Review in Product Display v1.0 thread and thought it might be useful to cross post it. I'm going to try to implement it personally - if I need to change stuff to make the 2 contribs integrate, I'll post the code here.

    Scott

    ----------------

    original post

    For anyone wishing to use this with the Review Approval System contribution then I have found the change required to make sure the review doesn't appear in your product info unless it is approved...

    In product_reviews_info.php find this

    $reviews_query = tep_db_query("select r.reviews_id, r.customers_name, r.date_added, rd.reviews_text, r.reviews_rating FROM reviews r, reviews_description rd WHERE r.reviews_id = rd.reviews_id AND r.products_id = '" . (int)$HTTP_GET_VARS['products_id'] . "' AND rd.languages_id = '" . (int)$languages_id . "' ORDER BY r.date_added DESC LIMIT " . MAX_REVIEWS);

    and replace with this

    $reviews_query = tep_db_query("select r.reviews_id, r.customers_name, r.date_added, rd.reviews_text, r.reviews_rating FROM reviews r, reviews_description rd WHERE r.reviews_id = rd.reviews_id AND r.products_id = '" . (int)$HTTP_GET_VARS['products_id'] . "' AND rd.languages_id = '" . (int)$languages_id . "' and r.approved = '1' ORDER BY r.date_added DESC LIMIT " . MAX_REVIEWS);

    hope this is of use to someone

  9. I've reformatted the Average Customer Rating line to format properly. Here's what I did.

    in catalog/product_info.php

    find:

    					<td align="left" class="smallText"><FONT COLOR="#006699"><?php echo TEXT_REVIEW_AVERAGE . ': ' . tep_image(DIR_WS_IMAGES . 'stars_' . $reveiws_rating . '.gif', '', 60, 12, 'align=absmiddle') . '</a>'; ?></font></td>

    replace with:

    					<td align="left" valign="middle" class="smallText"><font color="#006699"><?php echo TEXT_REVIEW_AVERAGE . ': ' . sprintf(tep_image(DIR_WS_IMAGES . 'stars_' . $reveiws_rating . '.gif', sprintf(BOX_AVGREVIEWS_TEXT_OF_5_STARS, $reveiws_rating), '', '', 'align=absmiddle')) ?></font></td>

    in catalog/includes/languages/english.php

    find:

    define('BOX_REVIEWS_TEXT_OF_5_STARS', 'Rating: %s of 5 Stars');

    put this BELOW it:

    define('BOX_AVGREVIEWS_TEXT_OF_5_STARS', 'Average Rating: %s of 5 Stars');

    hope this helps those of you who have tried desperately to get the formatting of the stars to work properly and it just didn't seem to work! :blush:

    Scott

  10. cheers and Glad it is straightened out for you and have a happy holiday season :)

    Peter M

    Peter,

    It is correct that the new modifications to the sql were not included in the sql file that is currently downloadable in the recent update; however the table alter was in the updated instructions. Appreciate your efforts - I'm working on a cosmetic update that I'll email to you so that it could be an alternative method using icons vs. buttons (when I'm done with it) - that way, it will be at your discretion as to whether you include it in future packages. :D

  11. Hello, I'm getting the following error in checkout_process.php when my customers use paypal to pay:

    1064 - You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'where date_format(store_history_date, '%Y%m%d') = date_format(

    update store_history set amount_orders = amount_orders + 1, amount_products = amount_products+1, orders_price=orders_price+ where date_format(store_history_date, '%Y%m%d') = date_format(now(), '%Y%m%d')

    [TEP STOP]

    I have modified paypal.php to include the same changes as made to checkout_process.php

    any thoughts?

    thanks!

    Scott

    Figured out the issue - it was not with time Zone, but with a contrib called Stats v3 - you just should NOT copy the lines inserted into checkout_process.php into paypal.php

    Scott

  12. Yes - it was fully working with QTPro installed - it has been since I installed the Time Zone Offset module that I get the error; however, I've removed all mods to files AND to the database manually and triple checked it to make sure, yet - the error still continues to show up... our customer's orders do show up in the admin and the payment is completed through Paypal and this too shows in the admin, the customer email is sent out according to my tests @ Paypal Developer Central (in test mode, in live mode i don't think the email sends); however, the extra order email is not sent out. That is the confusing part because the extra order email only duplicates the customer order email.

    a little confusing and frustrating for my customers :) thanks!

    Scott

    Fixed it! it was another mod that i forgot i installed called Stats v3 - don't need to copy the lines into paypal.php or it will break!

  13. and everything was working fine before then?

  14. I can't see what that has to do with paypal IPN?

    What other contributions did you add around the same time as IPN?

    I added QTPro and then Time Zone adjuster; however, then I completely removed the Time Zone adjuster. I though it might be the Time Zone adjuster, but since I removed it, it doesn't seem likely.

    Also, this (the error) happens after paypal payment is completed and then it is autoreturning back to checkout_process.php... However, it ONLY happens when customers pay with Paypal, not by cash or check/money order.

    thanks!

  17. Hello,

    For those with the error in headings in the stats - indeed the admin/language/english/stats_referral_sources.php is missing from version 1.5; however, it IS in the "If on clean osC version" version - so, get it there.

    For those of you who desire to be able to control the order of the dropdown boxes from within the admin, (ie. list the referral source by sources_id rather than sources_name) - here is the code to change.

    includes/functions/general.php

    find this:

    	  $sources = tep_db_query("select sources_id, sources_name from " . TABLE_SOURCES . " order by sources_name");

    replace with this:

    	  $sources = tep_db_query("select sources_id, sources_name from " . TABLE_SOURCES . " order by sources_id");

    admin/referrals.php

    find this:

      $sources_query_raw = "select sources_id, sources_name from " . TABLE_SOURCES . " order by sources_name";

    replace with this:

      $sources_query_raw = "select sources_id, sources_name from " . TABLE_SOURCES . " order by sources_id";

    hope this helps... Scott

  18. OK, im getting the same problem that Avail1now was having. Its deleting orders with the update button.

    I think this is related to Avails fix to the "deleteconfirm" error where thay placed a closing bracked before the statement.

    I had to put in the bracket to get past that error, now it deletes orders.

    Im thinking that bracket needs to be elsewhere as it closes whatever before the deleteconform, and selects it as THE case and deletes the order.

    Does this sound like im on track? Maybe even?

    Any help would appreciated.

    Thanks.

    What version are you installing?

    Scott

  19. For the shipping 2x without sending emails, have not seen that error as of yet. what other contribs are installed around the mods? Did you install the latest version?

    For the SQL error. The is an "and" in one of the SQL queries. It is actually there in the code you posted. Check admin/orders.php for the queries and delete this, "and" from "and ups_track_num" - if it is not there, it is in one of the other mods that query the sql. Open the files you modded in the admin one by one in a text editor and search for "and ups_track_num", then delete the "and".

  20. Hello everybody,

    In case you hadn't noticed it, I posted version 1.3 a few days ago which builds on and integrates the solutions posted here on the forum and implemented by some of you! The updated instructions include clarification on email link issues.

    Appreciate you all. Thanks for making this contrib better. My hope is that it can continue to be refined and improved. I also hope you enjoy the recoded account_history_info.php

    3 Sept 06 - Changes made to 1 Sept 06 version:

    ------------------------------------------------

    (Package Tracking with Email Mods v1.3)

    1. Further streamlined the instructions and some of the order email functions.

    2. Fixed the logic in catalog/admin/orders.php for emails to send properly when all 5 shippers are used

    3. Entirely recoded the catalog/account_history_info.php to include if/then logic and improve appearance :)

    4. Updated catalog/includes/english/tracking.php with current server information (thanks Irina).

    5. Have included an "mods" folder which contains the following by Irina:

    A. The Tracking Buttons mod which includes catalog/admin/orders.php & catalog/account_history_info.php mods placing a clickable "Track" button for customers and administrators to track packages.

    B. The Tracking Number in Email mod which places a Clickable Short Invoice and Tracking Number in emails to customers.

    Work still to be done that I could use help with:

    1. Modding catalog/admin/orders.php to be able to accept multiple packages from each shipper.

    2. Modding catalog/account_history_info.php to be able to show multiple packages from each shipper.

    3. Modding catalog/includes/english/tracking.php to accept multiple tracking numbers for each shipper.

    In addition to these mods, the sql would probably need to be adjusted to accomodate the above changes...
