  1. Would it be possible present the Protx Form payment in an IFRAME to maintain the feel of integration with the site. Any ideas ... ?

    Protx Direct v2.22

As per Protx's latest newsletter today, although Protx is PCI Compliant, merchants using Protx Direct would have to sort out their own PCI Compliance (latest card industry regulation), as the customer's card details are being collected at the Merchant's end. As per them, the only other alternative is to go with VSP Form or VSP Server, to avoid the cost and hassle of PCI Compliance. Now, wouldn't it be possible to go for the Protx Form payment in an IFRAME to maintain the feel of integration and yet stay away from the compliance hassle. Any ideas ... ?
  3. We have recently experienced the same error after switching hosts - did you manage to work around it at all ?

    Protx Direct v2.22

Decided to change over from Protx Form to Protx Direct and installed the latest version as instructed. Now, despite haing done everything, keep getting the following error each time I try to make a test transaction. Credit Card Error! Unfortunately there has been a technical problem. Please try again and if the problem persists please contact us Any ideas at all please?
  5. Has anyone tried creating a Category Menu with CSS as per http://www.alistapart.com/articles/horizdropdowns/. The benefit would be 100% compatibility, as it does not rely heavily on Javascript/DHTML, and degraed very well with older browsers/javascript disabled. The end result would look just like CoolMenu, but just a lot more compatible and universal.

  7. I have tested numerous coolmenu sites at anybrowser.com, and most simply display a blank white box with the javascript disabled. However, the coolmenu author's site (www.geraeteland.de) somehow manages to dispaly coolmenu even with anybrowser. Any ideas how that can be achieved ?
  8. How does the module handle multiple currencies, if one has enabled both GBP and USD in the cart, but the Protx account set up accepts GBP payments only.
  9. Does this module do away with card validation problems in cart, as the information shall be finally verified at Protx's end anyway ?
