You have many files that are not in the english core.  You might like to get that problem resolved so that russian users will benefit ?

Is now possible and takes seconds...
Log into the Softaculous App on your hosts cPanel and you will find CE Phoenix in the E-Commerce section.
We are very pleased to have gotten CE Phoenix onto Softaculous as it opens up a whole new world of users who want/need an easy install.
Thank you to @ecartz for his months of hard work in getting Phoenix modernised and to @Heatherbell and @peterpil19 for their hard work in getting Phoenix onto Softaculous.
Give it a go if you have a Cpanel host who runs Softaculous - but please make you do not overwrite your live shop installation (I have not tested and am not sure if it gives you a warning prior to potential overwrite).  Please give Phoenix a rating/review as word-of-mouth from happy users is the most powerful thing - thank you. Please note that I have since deleted that install that you see in the video as it was performed only for the video.

Never heard of it. No doubt more EU-Bulldust dreamed up by men in suits who have nothing better to do.

Not in the EU...the answer for many small businesses; don't sell to EU citizens. That takes away a whole layer of Bulldust.

Phoenix is the official Community Edition of osCommerce, which (in short) means that it is made by the Community and looked after by the Community - that is Shopowners, PRO developers, amateur developers and even some who do not use this software (as they know that the work we do benefits their cart) - all doing their best to make the Project thrive.
Solomono has no input on and no connection to Phoenix.
I suggest you try both.  That will answer a lot of your questions.

Try it.  If you like it use it.  They are a partner of osCommerce.
Know that if you need support for a 3rd party offering, you are tied to them as that is not allowed on this Forum, so you have to get support by whatever mechanism they themselves provide.

Which version of Phoenix are you using? IIRC, this was an error introduced in 1.0.7.0, and was quickly fixed in 1.0.7.1.

You will need to contact a good developer and get it re-coded to suit your needs.
If what is made is better than core, maybe you would then allow us to replace what is in core with your new version.

burt got a reaction from hungryfrank in Problem making a.simple redirect hook for admin
There is no ability to perform a redirect in admin.  Good news for you is that we are in the process of adding in pre-placed hooks now.
What you need to do is add in a callout, in admin/includes/template_top.php and test it.
Then let me know where you added and what you added and how you tested it...and it might become core code.
If any of the items in bold are not provided, it definitely will not become core code.
