  1. How do shopowners and those with little knowledge of SEO have a hope in heck when even experts cannot agree on the same way forward. I am so glad that I don't have to perform any sort of SEO service. It's all snake-oil.
  2. If there are not too many of the "other" products, then the simplest option is as so; Shipping Module which does the following: Is the order < $99: charge $9 Is the order < $99 and has a "other" product: charge $4 Things you might not have thought of; What if the order is over $99 yet has one of these "other" products? What happens in a MIXED (other and normal) order under $99? What happens if a customer orders two or three "other" products; 1 charge of $4 or charge for each ?

  4. I don't understand what it is that you are trying to do.

  6. Look at array_pop() - very useful inbuilt php function.
  7. @@douglaswalker Edge should now work on any PHP version from 5.4 onwards. As the php people bring out newer versions, things might break. @@Moxamint thank you for feedback @@Dan Cole I have one more thing I would like to do with Edge and then that will be the end of the road.
  8. I am pleased to report that Edge is as of this moment...php7 ready. A big thank you to @@BrockleyJohn for the hard work he has done on that part of the project. A big thank you also to those who took the time out to have a play with the php7 changes, make feedback and so on.
  9. You may very well find that some modifications you had to do to your 2.3.4...are already built into the Responsive. Best advice: install on a test site/server an out of the box Responsive and have a play with it.
  10. A few post have been removed as they were not feedback - thank you to all who advised the forum member with correct procedure. For anyone wishing to have work done, it is always advisable to post for quotes at http://forums.oscommerce.com/tracker/project-6-commercial-support-enquiries/ Be aware that I do not look in the Commercial Tickets Section, ever. Therefore, if you require a quote from me for something...hit me up by Private Message.
  11. That does not quite make sense @@LeeFoster index.php index.php > category (this could show a list of products OR it could show subcategories of the category) index.php > manufacturer (shows a list of products by this manufacturer). If you are looking at a list of products, each of the links would go to the individual product page aka product_info.php
  12. Yes, I recall you pointing that out. I take back my comment about the host being paranoid. However, I would still warn that it is presently too early for an enforced move to php7.
  13. @@greasemonkey it would be far better to do this by upgrading the admin > reviews page to allow the possibility of replying to a review. If you do it by simply adding another paragraph to an already written review...that would cause issues with google (in terms of microdata) and may cause issues with the customer who wrote the review. Keeping a review and a reply separate is the way to go. Admin side: update the reviews.php page Shop side: new module for displaying reviews on product_info page
  14. I would be looking for a new host pronto. Even before this ridiculous decision to jump to php7 so early, they had their server security ramped up so high that scripts and pages are unusable. This host is paranoid. And that is impacting their customers in a bad way.
