    [Addon] Product Sort Within Category

IIRC (I haven't played in the admin side for a long time) there is a category sort order feature (where you can input numbers). I think you just need similar for products; add in another input on the admin/categories.php page for products "sort_order" get that working first so you can insert numbers to sort things Once that is working; do the changes as above for "PRODUCT_LIST_ORDERED" but call it "PRODUCT_SORT_ORDERED" in any SQL change sort by sort_order DESC|ASC as appropriate It should be `fairly` straightforward, and should not take you more than an hour I'd guess if you break it down into small chunks.

    [Addon] Product Sort Within Category

I added a couple of sort orders in recently, if you search on PRODUCT_LIST_ORDERED that will give you everywhere you need to change to add a new sort; https://github.com/gburton/CE-Phoenix/search?q=PRODUCT_LIST_ORDERED

Great stuff @puddlec This addon shows one of the first uses of the Hooks, chapeau! Hooks are incredibly powerful.

    TinyMCE

Excellent work @puddlec - loads of people will be very happy with this! There is one small change I'd potentially make; add in an array of good pages such like; var $good_pages = ['categories.php', 'manufacturers.php']; and then in the function, global $PHP_SELF and check it against the good_pages; if (in_array(basename($PHP_SELF, $this->good_pages)) { ... } This will then load the scripts only on the pages that need them rather than on all pages. And add textarea[name^="manufacturers_description"] to the selector (for manufacturer descriptions). Note: untested!

    TinyMCE

The code I posted should target all "product_description", regardless of the number in square brackets...

    TinyMCE

Try; textarea[name^="products_description"] it may work, I dont know. I use something similar in a different admin thing I built.

    TinyMCE

I'm pretty sure it's possible with no core changes, in Phoenix. I think older versions of CE (and certainly all flavours of 2.3.4.1 and older) would need core code changes. Who's going to have a go at a no core code change TinyMCE implementation ?
  18. burt

    TinyMCE

What is it actually used for (in real life)? product description maybe category description? anything else ?
  19. burt

    TinyMCE

I wonder if it could be done with zero core code changes... Possible ?
  20. That level is "index_products"...It's always been the case as @Heatherbell describes that the index_products level can only contain products. However...now it's modular...I think it would just need a module built for index_products that displays subcats (if any).
  21. Version ? URL to display to show us ?

  23. Quite out of date as this was v1 of the system. But it shows the general idea.
  24. Assuming that ZIP code locations don't change much...and that new ones don't get added very often, you could set up a database table to allow you to insert zip codes into it. Then you perform a quick and easy lookup at the appropriate time (create_account? in admin after the order is placed?). That sounds like a lot of work, but I am sure you know that the first 3 numbers in the zip correspond to States. EG: 900 to 961 are all CA, 100 to 149 are NY, similar for the rest of the States.. A little bit of work on the part of the shopowner, but obviously then no ongoing cost.
  25. Product Page Layout is in finalised testing; https://template.me.uk/phoenix/product_info.php?products_id=3 This all-new system allows millions (that is not an exaggeration) of layout possibilities, all easily set up by shopowner.
