Hi Lotti, As we are both usibg STS add the CSS reference to the template page and it will work...view source in IE to view checkout confirmation and make sure the page calls the thinkbox and .css. This is where i first had problems...if you look bottom left of the checkout confirmation page the thick box is there but unless the .css reference is there the thick box wont be centred..double check your template page....i updated from v3 to 5...and the only other updates/changes were in included in the 5. upgrade (apart from the Mysql upgrade doc in v4.4) hope this helps.... mn

Hi Tom, I have double checked and checkout confirmation does use the correct doctype....strange Another slight niggle (probably my pages again) the telephone number is included in the addess field on the Secpay VPS?? In secpay back end, instead of it being in its own field (prior to the v5 update) its now included in the address & delivery address fields (under the postcode)?? How can this be? it doesnt throw up any problems with the order and the telephone number is separate in the my admin backend but Secpay cant do any checks against it?? How do i get to the bottom of this? should i post the debug info? Sorry for the long line of niggles but i just want to get everything perfect ;) cheers mn

Hi Tom, Sorry for the delay, ive looked into it and its not a problem with the module it was to do with my US zones - its sorted now and ive tested it. I will let you know if there are any live problems with new US customers.... You know this thick window, after i click on the confirm button on checkout_confirmation.php the thick box appears but its all the way at the top of the page? Its perfectly centred but at the top of the page...you have to scroll up to view the transaction info/error - is this normal? shouldnt the thickbox be in the middle of the page even if there is a scroll bar im using (IE 7)...i will do some testing on FF and IE6 later... MN

Hi Tom, Cheers m8! Where is this field exactly? is it the normal state/county field in the billing address? or is it something new the customer has to enter? Im thinking its probably the state/county field...if it is then it should be allready populated with data?? Let me know if you need any debug info off me....i will wait for your response cheers mn

Hi All, Ok since the update from v3 to 5 - all seems fine everything is working expect i have had some issues with USA customers however. They report that when checking out they get a message regarding a billing state field??? - it seems to prevent them from checking out?? On the Secpay backend i get this message: "MALFORMED - 3147 : The BillingState field is required" What exactly is this billing state field? and how do i sort this out? anybody experienced this error yet on US cards? I have no problems with UK or other international cards going through only the US ones - so its obviously a USA thing?? Can anyone advise please? Cheers MN

For anybody thinking of upgarding from v3 to the latest 5 - Go for it (but not using a live shop).... i can recommend it...was a little bumpy but it worked with the help of PerfectPassion. And its a giant leap forward from the point of view of usability etc....Well done Tom! I raise my hat to you! MN

ok what does this mean Tom: Sorry your payment could not be processed. INVALID - Simulator has found the vendor '******' in the database but it is not enabled for Direct. If you intend to use Direct with this account, log into the accounts section of Simulator and enable Direct. Where is this similator account then? - i need to turn it Direct on on by the looks of things??

Ok Brill, ive switched on to simulator now to double check the 3-d secure...it was on test before Yes Im using IE 6, an early version...so this might be the case but the pop up only comes up once in any case...i can live with it. I havent tries FF yes...will test today now fully...and move to production ASAP. If i have any other problems i will post here... Cheers J

Lol - yes i just figured that out....many thanks matey i appreciate your help on this..i still egt the security box popping up before the thick box but afetr clicking ok it dissapears and i get the thickbox and the correct data etc. Now when testing with 3-d secure will the data appear in this tick box as well? - what else should i test before switching to production Tom? many thanks

Hi Tom, appreciate your quick reply... im not seeing the thick box at all - its a standard browser pop up - (this page contains both secure and no secure"....) When you click yes OR no nothing happens..it just stalls on this page....nothing is being posted at all by the looks of things.... When i hover over the button it gives me this: www.******/protx_process_win.php?height=500&width=500&modal=true But its not getting to this page at all... man im really stuck... j

Hi Ive just tried to update to the latest module (5.1) from V3.0 and things arnt working....on the checkout confirmation page the submit button just doesnt work...its not posting anuthing...i have followed all the instructions and added the necessary code etc..can anyone help? - Im using the fast checkout mod as well but i dont think this is the problem - it worked fine with v3.0 - any ideas.... When i click the Submit button on the confirmation page a Security information box appears...and then nothing...she just stalls on this page?? This is on a live shop so if you can help PLEASE advise ASAP - i should know better, but i thought this update would be straight forward Cheers MN!

Hi, Been also getting: 1. "Transaction CANCELLED by Protx systems after 15 minutes of inactivity, or no reply from Notification POSTs. " 2. "Transaction reached initial registration stage but has proceeded no further." No answer from PROTX via email, the support forums are red hot with angry people all getting problems/losing money. Who ever gets an update to these timeout problems PLEASE post here for the rest of us! and i will do the same. Lets hope someone finds and answer soon. Thanks in advance.

First off i would like to congratulate KQT on a brilliant contibution. I like many on here have loads of contributions loaded and this is one of my favourites. The install notes are fantastic and bar a few small changes the contribution works ' out of ther box' .... excellent job and much appreciated! Ok...so my question is based on central50 'Exclude products on sale' add on from the 11May. I would really like to use this extra as its important that people get the discount when checking out with mixed special/normal products in their basket. An addon with #replace this code# with this #code# insructions for 3.3 would be really nice and would finish off the package. Has anyone figured out how to do this yet? ive tried to follow central50's instructions but they were for 3.0 :( Maybe KQT could add this to the next update? i think it needs it! cheers MonkeyNuts

Hi, Thanks for all the replies i had.... :angry: Anyway ive sorted out the problem....all i had to do was change the 'The country my store is located in' value in admin/my store. It took me 2 months of bug hunting to find this out only by accident. So if your shop like mine is based in the UK and your shipping modules need a refresh to display properly..simply change your county to the US......weird i know but it sorted my problem out......im now on to my next problem.... Hope this helps someone out there. MN

Hi there, I have a very annoying shipping bug on my checkout shipping page that has only recently appeared. When a customer checks out and they reach the checkout_shipping.php page some of the zone shipping values show the following error 'this shipping option is unavaliable'. BUT as as soon as you refresh that page the correct shipping values are displayed. Ive checked everything, zones.php, chekout shipping, the shipping modules, my form check.js files everything....i still dont understand why its happening....its obiously a zone problem. I am using the shipping table rates, zones and the free amount contribs - the funny thing is is that the table rates modules always display correctly - its only the zones that i have a problem with. Anything with 'UK' as a zone only shows correctly after a page refresh. I have 3 zones i currently ship to, UK, Europe & the rest of the world. Can anyone help? has anyone come across this problem before? thanks in advance MN

Hi All, Ive been running an oscommerce site for over a year now with little problems, my store is heavily modified and ive done all the work myself, usually when i come up against a problem i read through these forums for answers, but recently ive hit a brick wall. The problem ive got is quite small but its driving me nuts and i want to sort it. The problems only occurs when customers hit checkout_shipping.php, when they hit this page the shipping vales displayed are the default "Sorry this shipping method is unavailable on tihs order". When i refresh the page the correct shipping values appear....strange eh? So everything is working its just my customers are having to reload the page before seeing the correct shipping costs etc. Has anyone come across this problem before? Ive searched and searched but cant find a solution to this. Ive thought about using form_check.js.php to refresh the page but im no coder. This page was working fine the other week and the shipping vales where displaying correctly without a refresh??? Ive really havent changed anyhting since then. Can anyone help? I could list all the contributions and give you an example of my checkout_chipping.php page...i can paste if you would like to view, please let me know. This is a very strange situation indeed. Hi all, Ok i've been trying for the last few days to get the latest version (2.5.1) of HCT working with STS. Seems ive got it licked but ive just got 1 problem... the HCT arnt showing up under any of my pages when i view page source. Now ive followed the steps carefully and done everything correctly but im guessing theres probably a problem with my sts output file. My database is set up and working The admin area is working as it should (i can create new pages and tag descriptions etc. And the site works fine...no errors BUT! i cant view any of the Header tags info ...no meta/description or title to be seen.
