    go to the Community menu at the top of this page. it will then bring down a menu. select and click on Contributions. Then click onto Payment Modules, then goto page 15. Or click here PayPal IPN Contrib.

    You will need to install (if not already done so) PayPal IPN v0.981 for Milestone 2, this has the checkout_paypalipn.php file. then you do what it says in the post above.

    Create PayPal Recurring Script

    It's been a while since I've used it, but from my notes you can still have other items for sale as normal and others set for recurring. the family products contrib is part of the admin area, so it can be configured from within there.

    will this help you? http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contri...ns,2020/page,16 I made this a while back. Neil.
  11. Hi All :!: Just to let you know, I've got this contrib (the lastest verion - v1.2b) to work, fine. I must admit I did have a strugle. But reading the instructions again, again, and again, plus, visiting this post I finally got it to work. It's a very neat and polite way to ask the customer for some feedback, which I think is nice, but not in a spamming way. Just debating using the Cron setup in Cpanel? As when I tested out the contrib first time it emailed my test account straight away, so maybe this is good enough? Anyway, it's very easy to get working, well, when you know how to. :D Neil. :wink:

    "Duplicate Entry" error

    Sorry, that should have been address_book_id. :oops: Neil.

    "Duplicate Entry" error

    What I did after installing the PWA contrib (which did'nt help) was to change the the customers_id to auto_increment as the first, then address_id not to auto_increment. This worked for me. Might work with others. Worth a try. :D Neil.

    Pay Pal IPN problem

    I may have found the problem??? The instructions say to intsert new code in a number of files. One of them is in Catalog->Includes->Modules->download.php. It says to do this: // You just have to modify this block of code: It should be from this: Now get all downloadable products in that order $downloads_query_raw = "SELECT DATE_FORMAT(date_purchased, '%Y-%m-%d') as date_purchased_day, opd.download_maxdays, op.products_name, opd.orders_products_download_id, opd.orders_products_filename, opd.download_count, opd.download_maxdays FROM " . TABLE_ORDERS . " o, " . TABLE_ORDERS_PRODUCTS . " op, " . TABLE_ORDERS_PRODUCTS_DOWNLOAD . " opd WHERE customers_id = '" . $customer_id . "' AND o.orders_id = '" . $last_order . "' AND op.orders_id = '" . $last_order . "' AND opd.orders_products_id=op.orders_products_id AND opd.orders_products_filename<>''"; To this: // Now get all downloadable products in that order $downloads_query_raw = "SELECT DATE_FORMAT(date_purchased, '%Y-%m-%d') as date_purchased_day, opd.download_maxdays, op.products_name, opd.orders_products_download_id, opd.orders_products_filename, opd.download_count, opd.download_maxdays FROM " . TABLE_ORDERS . " o, " . TABLE_ORDERS_PRODUCTS . " op, " . TABLE_ORDERS_PRODUCTS_DOWNLOAD . " opd WHERE customers_id = '" . $customer_id . "' AND o.orders_status != 99999 AND o.orders_id = '" . $last_order . "' AND op.orders_id = '" . $last_order . "' AND opd.orders_products_id=op.orders_products_id AND opd.orders_products_filename<>''"; Note that there is only one little modification: the addition of "AND o.orders_status != 99999" to the SELECT. I've found that when you do this a line is left in. Delete or rem out this line: This will get rid of the main error that appears at the top in admin. You will now beable to edit the PayPal IPN parameters. If this doesn't work try and reinstall the paypalipn.sql and upgrade sql again, you might have to delete the paypalipn.sql first to do so. This will get the PayPal IPN to send the total amount to PayPal when checking out. Neil.

    PayPal IPN v0.97 released

    :D Hi all :!: I've just installed the latest beta version of PayPal IPN. And then logged into Admin. Got the error messages: In the PayPal catagory at the bottom left hand side = "Warning: Failed to write session data (files). Please verify that the current setting of session.save_path is correct (/tmp) in Unknown on line 0" And also in the Modules catagory I get the famous error - "Warning: call_user_func() expects first argument, 'tep_get_order_status_name', to be a valid callback in /home/ndonnell/public_html/oscommerce/admin/includes/functions/general.php on line 1232" I've gone by the book to install this contrib, and also I've checked it over. Could someone please point me in the right direction to solve this problem? Pleeeeeeease :?: Cheers, Neil. :P
