  1. My qtpro has been installed on a fresh copy of osc 2.2 and it is NOT subtracting from stock!? All options are set to subtract from stock, track stock has been selected on the attributes also. ANy ideas?! Anyone else with the similar problem?!
  2. I have "show out-of-stock" attributes set to False. I also have sequential drop-down boxes. There are two styles of jeans: Light wash and Medium Wash. There only 4 sizes in the medium wash. Now, when the customer selects the first option "Medium Wash", shouldn't that prevent the sizes that aren't available from showing up in the next option "Size"? It still shows all sizes in both styles. Also, if you choose a size that is not available in the medium wash, it will NOT notify you. I have allow checkout = False, and "prevent adding out-of-stock to cart" = True.
  3. This post is regaurding earlier posts about the missing table. I am new myself to all of this .php but have caught on quickly. Here is my error: "1146 - Table 'vatikan_avenuedb.TABLE_PRODUCTS_STOCK' doesn't exist" So lets say that I am supposed to "convert" my TABLE_PRODUCTS_STOCK to the right table name, where would I do this at? I have looked at includes/database_tables.php and have no idea what I'm supposed to be looking for. I see that a few have fixed this problem by changing the name of the table, or either changing the table name that is being requested. Any additional help would be greatly appreciated.

    Well wouldn't you know!

I have installed a new domain, set up a brand new database, and downloaded the newest QTpro4.2a version. I installed the two .sql tables first, and then procceeded to copy the files from the QTpro4.2a folder to my OSC folders. The stock button appears correctly, but I am recieving this error upon clicking "Stock" to add the quantity of each attribute: 1054 - Unknown column 'products_options.products_options_track_stock' in 'where clause' select products_name,products_options_name as _option,products_attributes.options_id as _option_id,products_options_values_name as _value,products_attributes.options_values_id as _value_id from products_description, products_attributes,products_options,products_options_values where products_attributes.products_id=products_description.products_id and products_attributes.products_id=1 and products_attributes.options_id=products_options.products_options_id and products_attributes.options_values_id=products_options_values.products_options_v alues_id and products_description.language_id=1 and products_options_values.language_id=1 and products_options.products_options_track_stock=1 and products_options.language_id=1 order by products_attributes.options_id, products_attributes.options_values_id [TEP STOP] These two tables created in mySQL database and the files copied from the QTpro4.2a folder are the ONLY files that have been touched. I should NOT be getting a missing column error should I?

    Well wouldn't you know!

To the host that is supplying me with a site equiped with osc2.2. I am at a fresh start now, I do not have any attributes added. Now I can get the attributes of the sizes to sort in the order of my choice by adding "order by pa.options_values_id");" in my products_info.php file. When I install QTYPro to keep track of the quantity of each attribute, another product_info.php file comes with it that does NOT include the text that you add "order by pa.options_values_id");" to. How would I make the attributes sort if I have QTYPro installed is the question? After figuring this out.. I am going to leave it alone.

    Well wouldn't you know!

Are there people who install contributions professionally for others? I have reset my site (deleted and re-added my domain) about 6 times. I have reset my mySQL server (deleted and re-added a database) about 3 times. All I want is to be able to list sizes IN ORDER and keep track of the quantity of sizes of each item. I have installed QTYPro and it works fine but when I tried to add a contribution that would sort the attributes in order it told me to add a small change in my catalog/product_info.php. The line that you are supposed to add the change to DOES NOT exist in the product_info.php that came with QTYPro, so I replaced it with my original product_info.php which DID contain the line I am supposed to add the change under. Now nothing works. I am seriously ready to cancel my subscription and be done with this mess. Why doesn't osc2.2 come with attributes already sorted and able to track the stock of each item attribute???? I really need some help installed these two attributes to track stock and sort the order if anyone can help. IT'S BEEN 4 DAYS NON-STOP OF THIS CRAP!
  7. Bump.. cause I need help also.
  8. I'm hoping that I left a closing or opening bracket off somewhere.. any ideas? I just installed the Attributes set. There was lots of replacing lines of text in categories.php and the products_attributes.php file. Here's what I see now!! AHHhhhhhhhhh!!! http://www.vatikanavenue.com/pleasehelp.gif

    Simple newb question.

I have qtpro installed and enjoy it. Why hasn't someone made a page where you put all the item information, 1-4 images of the item, the attributes, and the quantity of each attribute all on the same page! I have 10 styles of jeans, with 15 difference sizes in each style. That's 150 attribute entries and 150 stock entries... lots of time.

    Simple newb question.

Just installed easypopulate.. keep in mind that I learned what .php was about 4 days ago. I'm decent with flash but haven't spent much time with this .php stuff. While in Excel, I'm attemping to add (3) three jeans in the size of 36x34, how would I go about doing this in the Excel file? Attribute Sets Contribution

Well, someone mentioned earlier about being new to this stuff... and I am the president of that group. Where should I be editing my files at? I do not have a catalog/admin in Webshell3. I have downloaded the oscommerce file that contains all the files listed in the installation manual for this contribution, should I be editing them on my hard drive.. then upload? If so how do I upload a file to catalog/admin when there is no such file elsewhere besides my hard drive. I have an admin folder and a catalog folder in WebShell3 but that's it, no catalog/admin folders there. I'm just now learning what .php is before i begin learning .php so I'm wayyyyy lost at the moment. I can build a pretty decent flash site.. but this is new and I'm trying to learn it all in one day it seems. I'm selling clothes mainly so I really would appreciate this contrib. once I get it installed and working. Thanks in advance to anyone willing to spit some advice my way. - Josh
