    iDEAL integration?

Has anyone used this module? I can't seem to find a single thread on it anywhere... Anyway, I installed it as per instructions, and it doesn't work at all. There's a strange blank drop down on the payment module page that says "please select issuer", and when I move forward anyway, it goes through all the steps but comes up with a blank page at checkout_process.php. Thank you!

    Freecount never default?

I'm using freecount, shipping rates by region, and a modified shipping rates by region that allows them to select rush shipping. For some reason, freecount is never the default highlighted shipping option. All other combinations of rates are defaulting correctly (i.e. the cheapest one being selected), but if freecount is in there, it's never selected as the cheapest. Any thoughts? Thank you!

    Manual Order Maker

So does this contribution not link into the existing payment methods, then? If I have a cc processor set up, when I'm creating an order with this contrib will I get the option for it to link to the cc processor to do the payment? Or would I have to go separately and manually process the card?
  4. I have Discount Coupon Codes installed. Is there any way in this or any other coupon module to have a code give multiple types of discount? i.e. 20% off one specific product, and 10% off all other products? I'm pretty sure I know how to hack the code to hard code it in, but I thought I'd check and see if there's an existing way of doing it first. Thanks!
  5. Any chance that someone who speaks German could do an updated language pack for this contrib? The German pack up on the contrib page is many versions old, and missing a number of definitions. Thanks in advance, anyone who takes this on! :-)
  6. I'm looking for a one page and one page only checkout. The two contributions I found (Fast Easy Checkout, and Checkout Alternative) still seem to involve multiple pages. The flow I'm looking for is this: add item to cart, review cart. When you click "Checkout" from the cart, it takes you to one page, where you put in all info, and then clicking submit on that submits the order. Does this exist anywhere? Thanks!

    Looking for one page checkout

Have you been able to get it to work well with PWA? Cause I'd say that's the biggest problem. Does anyone force account creation any more? I've got some weird amalgam of PWA and Alternative Checkout, but it's really rough, and not yet handling a few things correctly (and I'm having a hell of a time figuring out why).

    Looking for one page checkout

Also, I've seen references to Alternative Purchase working with PWA, but no one that actually seems to have gotten it working and active. Anyone? It's still going to have an extra page (the confirmation), but...

    Looking for one page checkout

That was one of the two I looked at - sorry, I slightly misnamed it above. It looks like it still goes to the confirmation page after the checkout page though, doesn't it? So it's a two page? Also, it doesn't seem to be working with PWA when I put it on my test shop. Still searching for a resolution on that...
  10. I just downloaded the newest version and was getting the error "The merchant login ID or password is invalid or the account is inactive." I looked at the main module code (/inc/mods/payment/authorizenet_aim.php) and at line 301, there's an if/else statement that determines whether you're in test or live mode and sets the URL. However, it looks like they're reversed - it says if test then url = secure, else url = test. I flipped them to what seems more intuitive, and it now works perfectly.

    State Based Region Shipping Rates

I'm also looking for a "global" option like talked about above (US is X, Canada is Y, every other country is Z), without having to list each individual country. I don't see the new version that supposedly has this, though...the most recent version in the contributions section is quite a while back. Anyone know where I can find this? Thanks!
  12. I've used an older version of PWA before (the one with the separate Order_info page), and recently tried to do a project with the newest version, which I noticed now just uses a "guest" parameter in create_account. This seems fine, except for one thing - the customer_id seems to be manually set to 0. So when people change their shipping address and it gets entered in the address_book table, they're all being entered as customer_id 0. This means that someone who went to change their address was seeing entries from 5 other people on the change address screen. Obviously, not ideal! Has anyone else experienced this problem? I've tried solving it by getting what the customer_id should be (getting auto_increment from the customer table, and then updating it and upping auto_increment...I also tried just doing the customer_table insert), and both of those methods seem to clobber the session and break everything. Any advice people have would be very much appreciated. Thank you!

    purchase without account issue

I tried it, and there wasn't an address there when I looked. Maybe it's just your browser storing it?

New UPS XML Shipping Module available

Hi Jan; Thanks! I'll give it a try. Just thought I'd check and make sure no one had done this, to keep from reinventing the wheel.

New UPS XML Shipping Module available

Hola! I got the contrib installed, and working in a basic form. However, one major hurdle remains. I want to use the dimensional shipping. However, not only do our products change weight by attribute (which I think can be solved by adding a contrib about weight with attributes, although it'll be interesting to see how that combines with all the other attribute mods I have), but also size. (We sell pictures, which might be as-is, or matted, or framed, and come in different sizes). Has anyone tried to do this? Basically, we have three different boxes we've been told by UPS to use, depending on the size of the print, the framing, etc... Thank you!

    Attribute Sets Plus

Thanks for the contrib!! Installed with no issues at all, first time through. Question for any and all forum denizens, though - I realise that currently the only way to add a set is after the product is created, because that's default osC behaviour. However, I've noticed a contrib or two that moves the attribute adding to the add product page. Has anyone tried doing anything like that with this app (i.e. being able to add a set when creating the product)? Thank you!
  17. I'm finding a very bizarre thing with this contribution. I put it on a few sites, with no problem. Been using it for months. But when I don't go to a site for a while, it stops working until I go back into the db and reset the password. Anyone else noticing this?

    Seperate Pricing Per Customer v3.5

Well, my large project involving SPPC is coming along slowly but surely. (Link to a description here.) Here's some outstanding points I'm still not sure how to handle, in case anyone has any ideas that might help: - I'd to see the regular price and then their discounted price. Is that Show Price List for SPPC? - Also, it'd be nice to show how much they saved on the final confirmation page. Is this out there anywhere? - Create reports that show the sales being done under accounts with each PIN. Have master reports on all PINs for the admin, and inidividual reports for each pro about their PIN only. - Link the ability to see these individual reports to the pros' regular account logins. - Oh, and I believe there's something coming that will give more control over attribute pricing? Is that right? I'll have to keep an eye on that, since everything's supposed to be at a 10% discount, but some of my products have attributes that add to the base cost, and 10% is not getting taken off those charges. Thanks again/still! ;-)

    Seperate Pricing Per Customer v3.5

Fixed this - was just a botched job on the modification of /admin/categories.php. Anyway, trouble I'm having now - trying to install Show Price List 3.5 (just the solo one, not w/ Price Breaks or anything). It says: Find the following lines between line 81 and 105 starting with : $product_info_query = tep_db_query("select p.products_id, ends just before: if (tep_not_null($product_info['products_model'])) } ) Problem is, I don't have the line "if (tep_not_null($product_info['products_model']))" anywhere in my entire cart. Not even in my backups before the SPPC install, and not after. Any ideas? Thanks!

    Seperate Pricing Per Customer v3.5

Hmmm...for some reason I appear to have lost the ability to edit the previous post. Anyway, I forgot one thing that's solely SPPC related that I seem to be having an issue with. I assume I've botched the edits slightly, but if anyone can help point me in the right direction that'd be great. Re: pricing - when I edit a product and try to add pricing for my groups, it wipes out the main price and puts in 0 (regardless of whether the box is checked, whether I've put in another price, etc...). I can set them directly in the db and it works perfectly, but not through admin. Also, when I edit a product in this manner, it suddenly becomes inactive (likely because of the $0? Not sure). Thanks!

    Seperate Pricing Per Customer v3.5

Just thought I'd put a bit of an update here (as well as in my initial thread) for two purposes - to help out others trying to do similar things, and to see if there's any suggestions for the rest of the steps I need to take. I have done the following: - Re-added account creation ability to the site (I was running solely on PWA before) - Integrated the base SPPC contribution - Added a group "Resellers" that gets a 30% discount on all products. This will be done manually, as these need to be controlled and PINs assigned. - Added a group "Pro Customers" that gets a 10% discount on all products. - Note: the discounts were done by modifying the SQL queries from here. - Changed references from company_tax_id to PIN. This was done a number of places, although I'm not 100% I've got all of them yet. - Moved the PIN field from the address_book table into the customers table. This just seems a more consistant place to put it for this purpose, since it's per customer (not per address). Steps for this can be found here. - Created table customers_pins in the db to hold the valid PINs. - Adapted create_account.php to check the PIN and automatically add to the "Pro Customers" group if the PIN is there and valid. If invalid, return error; if blank, put in default retail group. I based this off the post here. The changes I made to the referenced code were to add the following code into the error-checking section at the top: $pin_flag = false; if ($pin != '') { $query = "select id from " . TABLE_CUSTOMERS_PINS . " where pin = '" . $pin . "'"; $get_pins_query = tep_db_query($query); $get_pins = tep_db_fetch_array($get_pins_query); } if ($get_pins['id'] == '') { $messageStack->add('create_account', ENTRY_PIN_ERROR); $error = true; } else { $pin_flag = true; } Also, when setting up the $sql_data_array, I added: if ($pin_flag == true) { $sql_data_array['customers_group_id'] = '1'; } $sql_data_array['entry_pin'] = $pin; ------------------------ Thanks to JanZ for all the great bits of code I referenced above. Still working on the following points: - Need to add back in the ability to login up front (so they can see their discount while shopping), ability to change account, etc... all removed when PWA was initially installed. Should be easy. - On that note, I may add the contribution to see the regular price and then their discounted price. Show Price List for SPPC? I think? - Also, it'd be nice to show how much they saved on the final confirmation page. Not sure about that one yet. - I modified the "How Did You Hear About Us" contrib to be on the order_info.php (to work w/ PWA). Now that I've added account creation back in (in addition to PWA), I'll have to merge those somehow. Also, the PINs collected here could probably count as the source, since they got them from a particular person. Ugh. I'll have to keep an eye on that, since everything's supposed to be at a 10% discount, but some of my products have attributes that add to the base cost, and 10% is not getting taken off those charges. -------------------------- Thanks again for all the help so far, and any suggestions you may have for the rest of the project. Some of the remaining mods aren't strictly SPPC related, so feel free to comment on the project on its own thread here.
  22. And this seems like you're missing the "<?" before that chunk of code. Keeps it from being executed as php code and just displays it.
  23. Most likely the "{" at the end of the if line has no corresponding "}". If you look at the base file, you'll see where it should be...

    Master Products - MS2

An update for anyone hoping to use Master Products as I described earlier (having the master and salve linked so that you can only purchase slaves if you're purchasing a master). Earlier I made the master product qty drop down start at 1, not 0, so that there was no way to add a slave without adding the master. However, this did not stop people from removing the master from the cart and keeping the slave. To fix this for now, I've done a bit of a hack (since I only have 3 products - one regular, one master and one slave). If anyone wants to develop this into a real mod, I may work on it with you (or do it myself later - too busy now!).... Anyway, I went into application_top.php, and found the "action" switch. In the "update_product" case, I changed it to the following; case 'update_product' : for ($i=0, $n=sizeof($HTTP_POST_VARS['products_id']); $i<$n; $i++) { if (in_array($HTTP_POST_VARS['products_id'][$i], (is_array($HTTP_POST_VARS['cart_delete']) ? $HTTP_POST_VARS['cart_delete'] : array()))) { $cart->remove($HTTP_POST_VARS['products_id'][$i]); if ($HTTP_POST_VARS['products_id'][$i] == '2') { for ($i=0, $n=sizeof($HTTP_POST_VARS['products_id']); $i<$n; $i++) { if ($HTTP_POST_VARS['products_id'][$i] == 3) { $slave = $i; } } $cart->remove($HTTP_POST_VARS['products_id'][$slave]); } } else { And then the PHP3 code, etc... So what I've done is that if the id of the product being deleted is 2 (my master product), then it should also delete any products with the id of 3 (the slave product). I know this is pretty hack-y, but I was in a hurry. I'd like to improve it later, but I thought I'd post it here as a start for anyone looking along the same lines.

    Master Products - MS2

Hmmm...well, the code you pasted (which was indeed the code I was thinking of) is for generating the parameters for the drop down function. If you don't have drop downs, you're not using that chunk of code. What you *are* using, though, I couldn't say. Did you modify the contribution at all?
