    Urgent Help Needed with ePDQ Payments

    Important thing to note with SSL is that https://www.mydomain.com/ is not the same as https://mydomain.com/. The latter is usually recommended as www is very rarely added to a url, but can quite often be omitted. Not saying that's the problem here, but it's worth remembering. Steve

    Hi Bob Most likely problem is that the username and password set in the CPI admin do not match those that you've defined for the /catalog/cpi folder. This means that when ePDQ tries to access the complete.php, it is rejected as it doesn't have the correct username and password. You can set them here (for the ePDQ side): https://cpiadmin.epdq.co.uk/cgi-bin/CcxBarc...EpdqAdminTool.e and in the .htpasswd file in your cpi folder. Good luck. Steve

    Hi Dave Session ID is now always appended to the url on DirtBikeBitz.... I suspect the problem lies with saving the sessions. Did you manage to check whether the SESSIONS table had any data in it? You could also try file based sessions rather than MySQL.... just delete MySQL from the STORE_SESSIONS definition in configure.php and make sure that the correct tmp folder is set in Sessions in the admin Configuration. Ta for now Steve

    You could check that the SESSIONS table in the database has data in it - lots of goobledgook looking session ids and data. On MyFirstChopper I can't add anything to my cart if I block cookies, so presumably you have Force Cookies turned on for this site? On DirtBikeBitz I can add stuff to the cart without cookies and the session ID appears when it switches to https:// for the checkout, which is normal, but it should only be there for the first page. I don't want to put in false details, so you should check that it disappears when you go through the checkout process. Any change from http:// to https:// will see the session ID appended to the URL (check out html_output.php), so make sure that the checkout process is secure the whole way through. This might be the problem. If you're not going direct from checkout_confirmation.php to ePDQ, make sure any page in between is https. Hope this helps. Steve

    Hi Dave There's no way your customers should have session IDs in their URL by the time they get through the checkout process - I'd check that sessions are set up correctly in configure.php. Steve

    Annoyingly, there's no test mode. In the manual they request that you put test transactions through to the value of ?11.11 so that they know it's a test, but presumably that's more for anti fraud purposes than anything else. If memory serves, there's also a test Mastercard number, but it is always declined (by design) so it's of limited use. If you haven't got the manual, drop me a PM and I'll email it to you. Steve

    An order went through about an hour ago with no problems. Weird... Steve

    Hi Dave There's no real need to specify names.... using tep_mail('', SEND_EXTRA_ORDER_EMAILS_TO, EMAIL_TEXT_SUBJECT, $email_order, STORE_OWNER, STORE_OWNER_EMAIL_ADDRESS); ...and setting SEND_EXTRA_ORDER_EMAILS_TO to comma separated email addresses with no "<" or ">" works fine, e.g. youraddress@hotmail.com, anotheraddress@hotmail.com. Hi cujimmy It looks to me like this section in complete.php ... /* Ultimate SEO URLs v2.1 include_once('../includ3s/class3s/seo.class.php'); $seo_urls = new SEO_URL($languages_id); */ ...has somehow had the comment tags removed. Either remove this block of code entirely, or ensure there is a // at the start of each line. I'd recommend the former... it isn't needed so you're better off without it. Good luck Steve

    I had a similar problem so just use comma separated email addresses (no names). It's a bodge, but it seems to work OK. Steve

    Hi Dave No problem :thumbsup: Find this right near the end of complete.php: tep_mail(EMAIL_TEXT_MERCHANT_EMAIL_TO, STORE_OWNER_EMAIL_ADDRESS, sprintf(EMAIL_TEXT_MERCHANT_EMAIL_SUBJECT, ucfirst($order->customer['name']), STORE_ABBR, (int)$oid), $message, STORE_NAME, STORE_OWNER_EMAIL_ADDRESS); and try adding this straight after it: // send emails to other people if (SEND_EXTRA_ORDER_EMAILS_TO != '') { tep_mail('', SEND_EXTRA_ORDER_EMAILS_TO, EMAIL_TEXT_SUBJECT, $email_order, STORE_OWNER, STORE_OWNER_EMAIL_ADDRESS); } Works OK for me :) Steve

    Hi Tamlyn Yep - a different way of doing the same thing... looks good. I've heavily modded the complete.cpi and the method that I posted was the easiest way of doing things for me. On the other issue, if you have SSL available, why aren't you using it for the transmission of personal data? People are looking out for the padlock more and more nowadays for reassurance. Steve

    Sorry, that also means that you don't need the second if($status == "Success") { that you've put in. Steve

    Hi Dave Sorry, just re-read my instructions and they weren't clear. The if statement covers the whole section of code relating to stock deduction and email confirmation sending, so you shouldn't have the ' } ' after the line: mail ("ePDQ Transaction <" . STORE_OWNER_EMAIL_ADDRESS . ">", STORE_ABBR . " EPDQ Transaction", $email_message, $mailheaders); ... it should come way down near just before the ' } else { ' statement you quote, i.e. } } else { So it's actually a pretty simple mod... I just made a hash of describing it! :lol: Hope that makes sense now... PM me if you have any problems. Steve
