  1. Hi All!

    I'm having serious problems with this module. I installed it primarily for printing labels, but I keep getting popup errors and blank pages. Also, just like the others, I cant get the date feature to work.

    It does print sometimes, but only if I put in an order number range (i.e. 3 - 25) and even then, it seems very arbitrary when it does print.

    When I click on the link to pull up the pdf file, I get popup error messages. Here are some of the errors I'm getting:

    "An unrecognized token 'City,' was found."

    "There was a problem reading this document (114)."

    "An unrecognized token 'ETT' was found."

    "An unrecognized token 'F2' was found."

    "A drawing error occurred."

    Does anyone have any idea what these errors mean?

    Corinne :(

  2. I am having a problem viewing the ECHO processing results in the admin section of our cart. Before this weekend, everything was working fine. On Monday, I checked the orders in our cart and when I tried to look at the ECHO processing results (under Customers heading) for this weekends orders, they weren't there.

    This weekend our web hosting company (abhost) implemented a new spam filter for e-mail. My suspicions are that the spam filter is somehow filtering out the information coming back from ECHO because the internet information is coming back over the same port as the e-mail.

    We have another cart on a different port and it has been unaffected, which seems to confirm my suspicions.

    Abhost is very skeptical about my theory, but I find it an incredible coincidence that the information in our cart disappeared the same weekend they started their new spam filter.

    I have checked the database, gone into customer accounts, and checked the orders. Everything else seems to be perfectly fine. Is there anything else that would make this happen?

    Please help!

    Corinne

  3. Hi all!

    I have had a strange occurrence in our cart. I don't know how it happened, but now the credit card numbers are no longer being encrypted and the ECHO processing information doesn't show up in the admin section. The transaction goes through fine - ECHO shows it on their web site and the money goes to our checking account. For some reason, the actual credit card numbers are being stored in the database.

    Anyone have any thoughts?

    Well, I found my problem. There was a conflict in the checkout_process.php between the "Fancy Invoice & Packing Slip Module" and the "Purchase Without Account Module" that somehow messed up the ECHO module. The conflict happens in the section after

    "// lets start with the email confirmation". If I take out the Fancy Invoice changes in that file, everything seems to work okay. ^_^

    Hey guys,

    I've been trying to get the USPS thing wokring, i've read a bunch of posts and tried to get everything fixed up.

    So before any suggestions, here's what i got:

    1. I got the Country and Zip Code in Admin/Shipping

    2. I got weight on the item (testing only 1 right now)

    3. I got my usps account in Production not Test

    4. I even downloaded their program, ran it logged in and was able to check rates and all.

    UPS is working.

    And i'm still coming up with this error:

    "United States Postal Service United States Postal Service

    An error occured with the USPS shipping calculations.

    If you prefer to use USPS as your shipping method, please contact the store owner."

    I've got orders comming in, and i got Flat Shipping rate going on for now.. but i really want to get the USPS thing going.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi everyone. I'm having the same problem as xilix, except with a twist. The USPS works fine for a previous customer who is logged in with an account. It only gives you the message if you create an account or try to purchase without an account. I'm stumped. Can someone point me in the right direction?

  6. I am having a problem with the ECHO module in the admin section of my cart. When you go to the "ECHO Payment Processing" option under "Customers", at the top right it says "Echo Processed" with a pull down menu next to it. In the pull down menu, you can look at "All Transactions", "No", or "Yes". I get the following error when I select "No" (Echo orders not processed):

    Line 1 of the "echo_result.php" file is "<?", so I'm stumped. The section that I think it references looks like this:

    As far as I can tell, my database is okay. All of my test ECHO charges that were supposed to work went through fine. There were some that were decilined because ECHO has restrictions on their test account, but those transactions should show up here in the admin section when I select "No".

    Anyone have any ideas? :(

    Corinne

    It turned out there was more to this than just the ECHO module. I was getting the error in several places. I found the fix for it here:

  8. The code you quote isn't what does the part you're commenting on.  From a brief look at the code, I don't see why it shouldn't work.  I'll look closer tonight.

    Hi Steve!

    Boy, is my face red! :blush: I took a closer look at my files and found out that somehow I had replaced my "header.php" with one that didn't have the changes in it. I have no idea when or how it happened.

    Anyway, it looks like your fix is bug free! Once again, THANK YOU!!!!!!

    Also, I want to say that I really appreciate how much time you put into this thread. I've installed about fifteen modules in my cart and you are one of the most attentive contribution authors I've run across.

    Many, many, many thanks!

    Corinne

  9. Hey Steve!

    I am SO GLAD you were able to pull this off! I appreciate this immensely! :D

    I do need to let you know, however, that I think I found a small bug. "Log Off" and "My Account" show up in the right hand side of the breadcrumb bar.

    If you click on the "My Account", it takes you to "account.php" where you have all of the account options like look at previous orders, change password, etc. Of course, a person purchasing without an account shouldn't have access to these options.

    If you click on "Log Off" it simply sends you to the log off page. I'm not sure what it does internally, i.e. saves their information or cart?

    In the original PWA, the "My Account" disappears after you fill out the form and you are taken to the "checkout_shipping.php" page with all of the shipping options.

    I think the "Log Off" and "My Account" appearing might have to do with the code in "Order_Info_Process.php". In this file, the breadcrumb line is this:

        $breadcrumb->add(NAV_ORDER_INFO, tep_href_link(FILENAME_ORDER_INFO, '', 'NONSSL'));

    In your "Order_Info.php", the line is this:

      $breadcrumb->add(NAVBAR_TITLE, tep_href_link(FILENAME_CREATE_ACCOUNT, '', 'SSL'));

    You might want to take a closer look at the original "Order_Info.php" and see how it handles the "catalog/includes/header.php" file. That's where the PWA author says he took out the "Log Off" and "My Account". I haven't had much time to dive into this, but I'll try to take a look at it more closely tomorrow if I can.

    Other than that, so far, so good! Thanks!!!

    Corinne

  10. Started up again on PWA.  Yuck.  What a convoluted way it has of processing the customer details.  But I think I can see how it should go...

    Hi Steve!

    There are many roads that lead to the same place and apparently the PWA has a rocky one. I wish I could help; but at this point, its too far beyond me.

    Help us, Obi Wan Steve! You're our only hope!

  11. Hi Everyone!

    I have installed the latest version (June 2005) of the Review Approval System on two carts and the "Thank You for your review." page or message doesn't show up. After you click "Continue", it sends you back to the "product_review.php" page. It looks like you didn't enter anything, but the review does show up in the admin section.

    I have looked around on the forum and haven't found anything. I would like to see if there's anything in the official thread for this module, but I can't find it.

    Any thoughts?

    Corinne

  12. Hi again,

    I seem to have another problem with this module. I can't get the manufacturer to print out on the order list. I've installed it in two different carts and it doesn't work in either of them.

    My hunch is there's something wrong with the array in "admin/orderlist.php".

    Any thoughts? :huh:

    Corinne

  13. Hi Everyone!

    I have figured out the attributes problem! YEA!!!!! :lol:

    (Forgive my enthusiasm, but this is the first time I've actually been able to post a fix.)

    This fix will print out the attributes below the product name on the order list, just like it appears in the order history and shopping cart.

    In admin/orderlist.php:

    FIND this line (near the bottom):

    <b><a href="<?php echo tep_href_link(FILENAME_CATEGORIES, 'action=new_product_preview&read=only&pID=' . $order->products[$i]['id'] . '&oID=' . $oID . '&origin=' . FILENAME_ORDERS . '?oID=' . $oID . '&retOID=' . $oID . '&retAction=edit') ;?>"><?php echo $order->products[$i]['qty'] . ' x ' . $order->products[$i]['name']; ?></a></b><br>

    ADD this code underneath:

    <?php

    if ( (isset($order->products[$i]['attributes'])) && (sizeof($order->products[$i]['attributes']) > 0) ) {

    for ($j=0, $n2=sizeof($order->products[$i]['attributes']); $j<$n2; $j++) {

    echo '<br><nobr><small> <i> - ' . $order->products[$i]['attributes'][$j]['option'] . ': ' . $order->products[$i]['attributes'][$j]['value'] . '</i></small></nobr>';

    }

    }

    ?><br><br>

    If you want the attributes larger, get rid of the <small></small> tags.

    If you don't want italics, get rid of the <i></i> tags.

    This was a cut and paste from the "catalog/account_history_info.php" file, so if you have problems with this post, go there.

    Corinne

  14. I'm having problems, too; but I'm not sure if its a module conflict problem with the Quantity Price Break Module or an installation problem. The install instructions are VERY hard to understand.

    I have installed version 1.41 from March 11th posted by CrashWave. I haven't installed the weight fix version yet because I wanted to make sure this part worked first.

    From reading the install instructions and the posts in this thread, I have done the following:

    catalog/includes/classes/shopping_cart.php - Made changes from #1, #2, #5, & #6.

    catalog/product_info.php - Made changes from #3.

    catalog/includes/classes/order.php - Made changes from #9.

    #4, #7, #8, and #9a were removed from the instructions and #9b was only for people with the customer group pricing module.

    Could someone please let me know if I have followed all of the install steps correctly and let me know if I have missed something?

    CG :(

  15. Hey Steve,

    It's me again. I started learning some php and I've been working all week on this PWA (Purchase Without Account) integration. I'm so close to solving this fix, I can taste it; but now I think I need your help.

    I've gotten to the point on the blank customer form where I get a state pulldown menu, but it's blank and the black "*" (denoting require information) is missing at the end of the box. As I said before, I think the problems are probably somewhere in the two new files "Order_Info_Process.php" and "Order_Info_Check.php". Here are the two main sections I think are the problems.

    Original code in Order_Info_Process.php:

    if (ACCOUNT_STATE == 'true') {

        if ($entry_country_error) {

          $entry_state_error = true;

        } else {

          $zone_id = 0;

          $entry_state_error = false;

          $check_query = tep_db_query("select count(*) as total from " . TABLE_ZONES . " where zone_country_id = '" . tep_db_input($country) . "'");

          $check_value = tep_db_fetch_array($check_query);

          $entry_state_has_zones = ($check_value['total'] > 0);

          if ($entry_state_has_zones) {

            $zone_query = tep_db_query("select zone_id from " . TABLE_ZONES . " where zone_country_id = '" . tep_db_input($country) . "' and zone_name = '" . tep_db_input($state) . "'");

            if (tep_db_num_rows($zone_query) == 1) {

              $zone_values = tep_db_fetch_array($zone_query);

              $zone_id = $zone_values['zone_id'];

            } else {

              $zone_query = tep_db_query("select zone_id from " . TABLE_ZONES . " where zone_country_id = '" . tep_db_input($country) . "' and zone_code = '" . tep_db_input($state) . "'");

              if (tep_db_num_rows($zone_query) == 1) {

                $zone_values = tep_db_fetch_array($zone_query);

                $zone_id = $zone_values['zone_id'];

              } else {

                $error = true;

                $entry_state_error = true;

              }

            }

          } else {

            if (!$state) {

              $error = true;

              $entry_state_error = true;

            }

          }

        }

      }

    I replaced it with:

      if (ACCOUNT_STATE == 'true') {

    // BEG Country-State Selector

        if ($zone_id == 0) {

    // END Country-State Selector

          if (!$state) {

              $error = true;

              $entry_state_error = true;

          }

        }

      }

    Original code for Order_Info_Check.php:

      if (ACCOUNT_STATE == 'true') {

    ?>

              <tr>

                <td class="main"> <?php echo ENTRY_STATE; ?></td>

                <td class="main">

    <?php

        $state = tep_get_zone_name($country, $zone_id, $state);

        if ($is_read_only) {

          echo tep_get_zone_name($account['entry_country_id'], $account['entry_zone_id'], $account['entry_state']);

        } elseif ($error) {

          if ($entry_state_error) {

            if ($entry_state_has_zones) {

              $zones_array = array();

              $zones_query = tep_db_query("select zone_name from " . TABLE_ZONES . " where zone_country_id = '" . tep_db_input($country) . "' order by zone_name");

              while ($zones_values = tep_db_fetch_array($zones_query)) {

                $zones_array[] = array('id' => $zones_values['zone_name'], 'text' => $zones_values['zone_name']);

              }

              echo tep_draw_pull_down_menu('state', $zones_array) . ' ' . ENTRY_STATE_ERROR;

            } else {

              echo tep_draw_input_field('state') . ' ' . ENTRY_STATE_ERROR;

            }

          } else {

            echo $state . tep_draw_hidden_field('zone_id') . tep_draw_hidden_field('state');

          }

        } else {

          echo tep_draw_input_field('state', tep_get_zone_name($account['entry_country_id'], $account['entry_zone_id'], $account['entry_state'])) . ' ' . ENTRY_STATE_TEXT;

        }

    ?></td>

              </tr>

    <?php

      }

    ?>

    I replaced this with:

    <?php

    //  $state = tep_get_zone_name($country, $zone_id, $state);

    // BEG Country-State Selector

        $zones_array = array();

        $zones_query = tep_db_query("select zone_name from " . TABLE_ZONES . " where zone_country_id = " . (int)$country . " order by zone_name");

        while ($zones_values = tep_db_fetch_array($zones_query)) {

          $zones_array[] = array('id' => $zones_values['zone_name'], 'text' => $zones_values['zone_name']);

        }

    //  if (count($zones_array) > 0) {

        echo tep_draw_pull_down_menu('state', $zones_array);

    //  } else {

    //    echo tep_draw_input_field('state');

    //    echo $state . tep_draw_hidden_field('zone_id') . tep_draw_hidden_field('state');

    //      echo tep_draw_input_field('state', tep_get_zone_name($account['entry_country_id'], $account['entry_zone_id'], $account['entry_state'])) . ' ' . ENTRY_STATE_TEXT;

    //  }

      }

    //    if (tep_not_null(ENTRY_STATE_TEXT)) echo ' <span class="inputRequirement">' . ENTRY_STATE_TEXT;

    ?>

    The numerous comments are there because I was playing with lines, commenting this one and seeing what happens. Then commenting another one, etc.

    I think you said you downloaded the module, so if you need to see any of the seven new files, you should have them. Thanks in advance for your help.

  16. Hi Steve,

    Thanks for the quick response - and on a holiday weekend, too! I really appreciate you taking the time to look the PWA over.

    First, let me preface this post by saying that I have to plead ignorance with php. I took computer programming in college (15 years ago!), so I can kind-of understand what's going on, but the syntax throws me.

    Having said that, the only thing that really worried me when I installed this module, is it replaced one statement that the PWA had changed, although their almost the same:

    Original:

    <td class="main"><?php echo tep_get_country_list('country') . ' ' . (tep_not_null(ENTRY_COUNTRY_TEXT) ? '<span class="inputRequirement">' . ENTRY_COUNTRY_TEXT . '</span>': ''); ?></td>

    PWA:

    <td class="main"><?php echo tep_get_country_list('country', STORE_COUNTRY) . ' ' . (tep_not_null(ENTRY_COUNTRY_TEXT) ? '<span class="inputRequirement">' . ENTRY_COUNTRY_TEXT . '</span>': ''); ?></td>

    C-S Selector:

    <td class="main"><?php echo tep_get_country_list('country',$country,

    'onChange="return refresh_form(create_account);"') . ' ' .

    (tep_not_null(ENTRY_COUNTRY_TEXT) ? '<span class="inputRequirement">' . ENTRY_COUNTRY_TEXT .

    '</span>': ''); ?></td>

    Where I really thought the problem was, is the PWA code from Order_Info_Process.php and Order_Info_Check.php. In your C-S Selector module you change chunks of code and put in " if ($zone_id ==0) { ". I found similar "chunks" in the above two order.php files, so I thought that some similar change might be warranted there. (I'm probably showing my ignorance here.) :blush:

    - the change to the code that checks the e-mail address. None of the other files overlap (except for trivial things such as language file edits.)

    What problem do you see using both of these?

    At any rate, I'm going to do a little studying on php and see if I can answer you more intelligently on the e-mail question and possibly answer my own questions with the PWA mod.

  17. Hello Steve! You have a great contribution here! So far, I haven't had a problem, but I was wondering if maybe you could take a look at the Purchase Without Account Module and see if you can help those of us who love your module expand it a little.

    The PWA has seven new files that you upload. Perhaps you could take a look at them or at the two that I suspect need to be changed - Order_Info_Process.php and Order_Info_Check.php. The seven files are:

    /catalog/Order_Info.php

    /catalog/Order_Info_Process.php

    /catalog/includes/login_pwa.php (has the boxes stacked vertically)

    /catalog/includes/login_pwa_optional.php (this is for side-by-side boxes)

    /catalog/includes/login_acc.php

    /catalog/includes/modules/Order_Info_Check.php

    /catalog/includes/languages/english/images/buttons/button_create_account.gif

    Any help or insights you can give will, I'm sure, be much appreciated by many of us here at the forum.

  18. I have installed the Country-State Selector module and it works great! My problem is that I have also installed the Purchase Without Account module and I want to have the same pulldown lists and other features of the C-SS mod appear during the checkout process for the non-account people as well. It's kind-of important because of how I set up my tax zones.

    There are 7 new files that you upload:

    /catalog/Order_Info.php

    /catalog/Order_Info_Process.php

    I'm not well versed in php, but I think I need to make changes in Order_Info_Process.php & Order_Info_Check.php.

    In Order_Info_Process.php, I think I need to do something with this code:

    \ if (ACCOUNT_STATE == 'true') {

    if ($entry_country_error) {

    $entry_state_error = true;

    } else {

    $zone_id = 0;

    $entry_state_error = false;

    $check_query = tep_db_query("select count(*) as total from " . TABLE_ZONES . " where zone_country_id = '" . tep_db_input($country) . "'");

    $check_value = tep_db_fetch_array($check_query);

    $entry_state_has_zones = ($check_value['total'] > 0);

    if ($entry_state_has_zones) {

    $zone_query = tep_db_query("select zone_id from " . TABLE_ZONES . " where zone_country_id = '" . tep_db_input($country) . "' and zone_name = '" . tep_db_input($state) . "'");

    if (tep_db_num_rows($zone_query) == 1) {

    $zone_values = tep_db_fetch_array($zone_query);

    $zone_id = $zone_values['zone_id'];

    } else {

    $zone_query = tep_db_query("select zone_id from " . TABLE_ZONES . " where zone_country_id = '" . tep_db_input($country) . "' and zone_code = '" . tep_db_input($state) . "'");

    if (tep_db_num_rows($zone_query) == 1) {

    $zone_values = tep_db_fetch_array($zone_query);

    $zone_id = $zone_values['zone_id'];

    } else {

    $error = true;

    $entry_state_error = true;

    }

    }

    } else {

    if (!$state) {

    $error = true;

    $entry_state_error = true;

    }

    }

    }

    }

    In Order_Info_Check.php, I think I need to do something with this code:

    <?php

    if (ACCOUNT_STATE == 'true') {

    ?>

    <tr>

    <td class="main"> <?php echo ENTRY_STATE; ?></td>

    <td class="main">

    <?php

    $state = tep_get_zone_name($country, $zone_id, $state);

    if ($is_read_only) {

    echo tep_get_zone_name($account['entry_country_id'], $account['entry_zone_id'], $account['entry_state']);

    } elseif ($error) {

    if ($entry_state_error) {

    if ($entry_state_has_zones) {

    $zones_array = array();

    $zones_query = tep_db_query("select zone_name from " . TABLE_ZONES . " where zone_country_id = '" . tep_db_input($country) . "' order by zone_name");

    while ($zones_values = tep_db_fetch_array($zones_query)) {

    $zones_array[] = array('id' => $zones_values['zone_name'], 'text' => $zones_values['zone_name']);

    }

    echo tep_draw_pull_down_menu('state', $zones_array) . ' ' . ENTRY_STATE_ERROR;

    } else {

    echo tep_draw_input_field('state') . ' ' . ENTRY_STATE_ERROR;

    }

    } else {

    echo $state . tep_draw_hidden_field('zone_id') . tep_draw_hidden_field('state');

    }

    } else {

    echo tep_draw_input_field('state', tep_get_zone_name($account['entry_country_id'], $account['entry_zone_id'], $account['entry_state'])) . ' ' . ENTRY_STATE_TEXT;

    }

    ?></td>

    There might be other things that need to changed in these files and also, perhaps, in the other files. Does anyone think they can help?
