  1. I can tell you that this contrib does VERY well in reporting to the search engines. I've tried a number of contribs and for generating Meta tags this is by far the best.
  2. Ideally, the link categories and anchor text for each link on the page. The same concept for Article Manager.
  3. Has anyone considered modifying this contribution specically for use wink Link Manager and and Article Manager? I tried myself, but I must admit my shortcomings. Other than that one small thing I'm more than satisfied with this contribution.
  4. I'm having the same problem with manufacturers. The It seems that once I've I click on the manufatcturer from the list and the products come up that if I click on the manufaturer I should go to the manufacturers URL. If not, then why did I put all those manufacturer URLs in? Instead, I get kicked back to the index. If it's not the fault of your script, you are truly forgiven, Hell if it IS the fault of your script I ain't bitchen, small price to pay. .....BUT (ya know that HAD to be in there) It would be nice having it work that way. I'm not absolutely certain it worked correctly even on a fresh install, I never tried clicking on a manufacturer the second time till after your script was installed. Just seems an awful waste adding all those URLs without it.
  5. Not a spelling error. Though it did get me looking again. I really need to have the coffee fed intravenously or stop working so late. I missed the filename.php in the includes directory. You may spank me now.
  6. Ok, I got through most everything without much trouble. Would have been fine with a clean install I'm sure. However I have one thing haunting me. Warning: main(includes/modules/FILENAME_LINK_SEARCH): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/webadmin/far-horizons.biz/html/OSCommerce/catalog/links.php on line 287 Warning: main(): Failed opening 'includes/modules/FILENAME_LINK_SEARCH' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/share/pear') in /home/webadmin/far-horizons.biz/html/OSCommerce/catalog/links.php on line 287 I defined FILENAME_LINK_SEARCH as link_search.php and verified that the file is in fact in the includes/modules directory so the obvious (to me at least) is out of the way. Any help? BTW, I think it's some really great work on the mods.
  7. I've installed Links Manager and aside from one thing, it works great. Howeverthat one thing is crppling. Every time someone clicks continue after entering their link info they receive one of the following errors depending on their browser. "connection refused" or "DNS Error". any ideas on what may be the problem? I really don't want to be adding links manually.
  8. Try using the "additional shipping options for zone module plus percentage" contrib. Set up zone 1 as the 48 contigious states, AK, & HI as zone 2 and Canada as zone 3. BTW, you actually reminded me by this post, I need to add AK & HI into a seperate zone myself. I currently have 12 zones worldwide for surface and 12 zones for express. It works great.
  9. You can use the credit class & voucher contrib. It allows for a free shipping coupon and either generates a code or uses one you choose.
  10. You can use the "Free shipping per product" contrib. Unfortunately, if you have both a free shipping product AND a non-free shipping product in the checkout it calculates shipping on BOTH items. If I can't find a fix I'll just place Please keep Gift Voucher purchses seperate or you will be charged ahipping! or something to that effect.
  11. I get the following error when I click transactions or send test IPN. I was hoping to find a solution here but all I found was that someone else had the same problem 2 years ago with no solution listed. Does anyone have the solution or should I just uninstall the script? Warning: session_start(): The session id contains invalid characters, valid characters are only a-z, A-Z and 0-9 in /home/www/far-horizons.info/OSCommerce/catalog/admin/includes/functions/sessions.php on line 67 Warning: session_start(): Cannot send session cache limiter - headers already sent (output started at /home/www/far-horizons.info/OSCommerce/catalog/admin/includes/functions/sessions.php:67) in /home/www/far-horizons.info/OSCommerce/catalog/admin/includes/functions/sessions.php on line 67 any help?
  12. Ok, my fault for not saying that I also changed the length in the database. I've found a work-around for now which is to just duplicate the pertinent database info in an excel file when I add products ie. model #, item name & price. Rhat way when I need to do a major price update I can modify the excel file and then use EP to upload the changes. Not pretty, but it works.
  13. I recently installed the latest version of Easypopulate and I'm having a problem. It installed fine, downloaded the sample store that comes with OSCommerce and I was able to upload my store. The problem came when I attempted to download the store to make changes a week later. No matter which download option I choose, I get Premature end of script headers: Easypopulate.php . The only changes I've done that I can see in any way affect Easypopute are 1. I change the max lex for model numbers to 30 in the database (I checked Easypopulate.php and it appears that the change carried through) and. 2. My /catalog/admin directory is now password protected. All the Easypopulate files have 755 permissions and the tech at my host has no clue only that "it's too long to de-bug". So here I am. Any help?
