    You have not installed the contribution completely. There are definitions to add in the file includes/configure.php, I guess you don't have them. - Rigadin

    What you need is Products Extra Fields, contribution number 2202. - Rigadin

    The goal of sts is to separate the html design from the php scripts. If you have something special to do in php, create a new sts tag in sts_user_code.php and use this tag in the template. See sts_user_code.php for an example. -Rigadin
  4. If there is no active coupon defined in admin nor gift voucher still to be redeemed by a customer, the field will not display. You need also to enable the coupon and/or gift voucher module(s) in the order total config in admin. The best way to work is to use a compare & merge program to see differences between 2 applications. Keeping a text file with instructions on how to update manually the files is a terribly time consuming and boring job, while using a compare and merge program will save time and hairs, not only for this contribution. I propose Beyond Compare 2 from Scooter Software (even I don't get any penny from them). - Rigadin
  5. Should be in catalog/includes/classes/order_total.php This file needs some modifications for credit class. - Rigadin

    You have successfuly installed the contribution, now you have to modify the html default template and create your own to personalize your shop. There is a file named sts_default.html somewhere in catalog or catalog/includes folder, try to change something on it. - Rigadin
  7. I think it was like that before 21 dec 2004, but a security problem came out and now customers must login/create an account first. There is probably another workaround possible but I don't know about it. - rigadin
  8. The best way is to use a tool to compare and merge the files, like Beyond Compare 2 from Scooter Software. It saves hours! - Rigadin
  9. open ot_gv module, find the ot_gv function and at the nearly end of the function you have to change: $this->checkbox = $this->user_prompt . '<input type="checkbox" onClick="submitFunction()" name="' . 'c' . $this->code . '">'; to this: $this->checkbox = $this->user_prompt . '<input type="checkbox" CHECKED onClick="submitFunction()" name="' . 'c' . $this->code . '">'; - Rigadin
  10. There is now an ACA module for this excellent contribution, under the SPPC contribution (716) - Rigadin
  11. Oops, I made first a modification at this place but found an easier fix later and put back the original v5.12 code but forgot to remove the old comments. => No changes made from v5.12 - Rigadin
  12. Order total modules language files (for example ot_gv and ot_coupon for this contribution) are located here: catalog\includes\languages\english\modules\order_total Payment modules language files (for example ccerr) are located here: catalog\includes\languages\english\modules\payment Like that for each language installed. - Rigadin

    The last full version is dated 5 feb 2005. Update from 25 Aug 2005 is needed and other depends on which contributions you are using.

    There is a contribution called Define Main Page or something near which adds a WYSIWYG editor to the admin side, to display something on the front page without entering html code in the language file. What is around this (header, columns, footer) are defined in your template. I hope I answered the question. - Rigadin
  15. v5.13 is quite new, can't be 100% sure that it works for everybody and in fact alienation2005 has same problem but i don't know which version he is using. For the upgrade question, I have not made any doc because I have no time for this boring work and there is a faster and easier way to do: the contribution is packed with original MS2 files + the CCGV modifications to do. By using a comparison tool (like Beyond Compare 2 from Scooter Software) that allows to see clearly all differences in 2 parallel windows and to make the update line by line or file by file. You can also compare your offline project with your online project (FTP). Personnally I can't think working without such a tool! - Rigadin
  16. Please note that while you can make the "&& $HTTP_POST_VARS['gv_redeem_code']" modification on older version than v5.13, the new way to display alarm (in fact it's not the new way, it's the correct MS way!) : 'payment_error=' .$this->code.'&error=' .... involves modifications in modules too, so for the alarms to work correctly, you MUST look at v5.13. For PopTheTop: one of your module is probably missing the get_error() function, or the "payment_error=" refers to an unexisting module. - Rigadin

    The piece of code in red does not work as you define a variable using itself (therefore not yet defined). It should be: define('DIR_WS_LARGE_IMAGES', DIR_WS_IMAGES . 'largeimages/'); - Rigadin
  18. You can find screenshots of v5.13 here.
  19. I was thinking a bit different: having the redeem box and its button before the payment options, pressing the button will not go to checkout_confirmation but again to checkout_payment with a message like "coupon code redeemed" or "invalid coupon code" or whatever error. Once coupons are redeemed, customer can click on the "continue" button. It will not disturb if you use the "order total in payment page" contribution (is it a contribution or a mod found in the forum by the way?). What about that? - Rigadin

    Not only the best place, probably the only one: go to catalog/includes/sts_product_info.php about line 46 you'll find: $template['imagelarge'] = tep_image(DIR_WS_IMAGES ...... Make your changes here.
  21. I do not use Paypal IPN so I can't test with it. If it was not working with 5.12 it will most probably not work with 5.13 . If there is a fix to make it working with 5.12, ot will most probably work with 5.13 . The checkbox appears only if the gift voucher module is enabled and has a higher sort order than the coupon module, and the customer must have a positive balance. It has been like that before 5.12 already, I found it weird at first, but idea is to display the redeem-code box only once, even if you use coupon AND gift voucher modules. In fact only the module with highest sort order will be displayed, but as both modules are using the same box name, both modules will receive the box content (coupon code) and redeem it or not according to their own logic. The side effect is: if the coupon module is higher in sort order than the gift voucher module, there will be not be the gift voucher checkbox. The idea of having one line to redeem both coupon and gift voucher code is, in my mind, to make the things more clear for the customer: only 1 box where to write a code, whatever it is. Yes. See above. Using 2 different names would mean having 2 nearly identical lines, can be confusing for customers. You are right, an error should be displayed and in my opinion we should never go to checkout_confirmation when using the redeem button. This should be implemented in both the coupon and the gift voucher modules (in case only one is used). The errors are generated in function collect_posts(). Anybody to do this? To alienation 2005: No time right now to check your problem but I'll take contact soon. - All right, I hope these answers help the general understanding of this popular but difficult contribution... To richhoward: You have STS v2.01 installed, but have you made the update dated 25 Aug 2004? Your problem is in catalog/includes/sts_display_output.php with the variable $scriptbasname which should, and it's not your case, contains the name of running script (product_info.php for example). - Rigadin
  24. This is the code of a payment module. Error can be in checkout_payment or in a payment module. What payment have you installed from the admin? I also recommend to use a good php editor (I use phpEdit) that put different colors for code/comments/strings and so on, it helps a lot to find the missing quotes and other small mistakes. - Rigadin

    open catalog/includes/application_top.php and there should be this line quite near the top, if you are running MS2: // define the project version define('PROJECT_VERSION', 'osCommerce 2.2-MS2');
