    authorize.net problems

Okay, I've been researching this for a week and still haven't figured out why my authorize.net module isn't working. I haven't even been able to find a thread which was dedicated entirely to "setting up" the authorize.net module so I've been searching the hundred of threads relating to auth.net to find a solution to my problem. Now depending on which authorize.net module I use, I get a different error. I've tried vger's version march 18 and I get the "There has been an error processing your credit card". I've tried ponce's version jan 11 2008 and I get the "There has been an error processing your credit card". I've tried the default authorize.net version bundled in OSC and still no luck. There appears to be a million threads about the many different errors and solutions for each. I've looked through just about all of the one's that I thought pertained to my problem and I still can't get it to work. I have followed all instructions provided by each thread and each modules without success. Some seem to have a easy time getting auth.net to work while others never seem to find a solution to their problems. -------------------------------------------------- "There has been an error processing your credit card Please try again and if problems persist, please try another payment method." above is the error I am getting using ponce's version of AIM for authorize.net. which is the version that I would prefer to use. Now if I'm told to use a different version, then I will. But it seems that ponce's version is the newest of the greatest and I'd like to get it to work. I am hosted with pair networks (the osc sponsor) running php5/mysql5. I have curl compiled on there so I know that this is not the problem. With ponce's version of the AIM module, I tried setting the curl field to "usr/bin/curl" and just "curl". I get the same results, error. ===In my settings for A.net (TESTMODE) -I have enabled the following in " Upload Transaction File Format": Email Customer: yes Apply AVS Filter: no Apply Card Code Filter: no field separator: comma(,) Field Encapsulation Character: blank -In the "transaction version", I am using the 3.1 version -In the "response/receive URL", I have the following: URL https://www.mydomain.com/checkout_process.php Default Receipt URL Edit https://www.mydomain.com/checkout_process.php Default Relay Response URL Edit -I did not touch -In the "address verification service", I have the default values seclected. -I've set my MD5hash and entered it in the "MD5hash" field in OSC's administration > modules > payment > Authorize.net Credit Card AIM -I've enabled "password required mode" -I've enabled "file uploads capabilities" -I do not have weblink activated -and I've entered my API and transkey into the proper fields of OSC's administration > modules > payment > Authorize.net Credit Card AIM Am I missing something?
  2. My actual problem is that I can't upload using my version of 2.76 EP with QTpro support. I recently switched hosting company and my new host uses php5/mysql5. I've been encountering a lot of problems trying to figure out what will work on php5/mysql5. All of my installed contributions have been giving me errors and warning messages since I switched. So I was trying to figure out what my best course of action would be to get everything back to normal.
  3. Hi could one of you point me to the version of easy populate that will work with ms2.2 rc2a please.

    authorize.net problems

I'm hosted on pair networks (an OSC sponsor). I checked my cURL path with my host and its correct, it compiles correctly. Dedicated IP and SSL. Seing as how I can't find any support for this, I started rebuilding a new site using oscms2.2rc2a. I'm just got done installing it and will probably start uploading my whole database once I have all my mods installed. I'm still trying to figure out which ones work with rc2a and which ones don't. The only concern is using authorize.net and USPS shipping modules with USPS methods. So i'm going to try and get that to work first and see how that goes. I'll keep this updated.

    authorize.net problems

I'm testing vger's version of the AIM module. Release march 18. when I enter the credit card number and everything else and click submit to go to the confirmation page. The card number does not get forwarded to the order confirmation page (or checkout_confirmation.php). At the top of the checkout_confirmation.php right below my store banner there is this error: Warning: str_repeat() [function.str-repeat]: Second argument has to be greater than or equal to 0 in /usr/www/users/tahiti/includes/modules/payment/authorizenet_aim.php on line 175 then when I click on "confirm order" i get: (TESTMODE) Credit card number is required. - Your credit card could not be authorized for this reason. Please correct any information and try again or contact us for further assistance.

    Easy Populate Version 3

in short, the "add weight to product attribute" allows the user to add weight to the order depending on which product attribute is selected. for example, if there is a "yes" and "no" option to adding a computer monitor to an order. "yes" would add the price of the monitor to the order total and the corresponding weight to the total weight of the order. it seems easy populate doesn't recognize this at the moment, and every time I do an update to my shop, EP resets all my added weight values...its very discouraging when you need to go and edit it one product at a time. So I've been sucking up the cost of shipping on those orders due to the fact that EP doesn't allow me to keep my added weight variables...since I'm not about to go and manual re-add weight for each product attribute I have on my store.

    Easy Populate Version 3

would it be possible to create a colum for the extra weight per product attribute? I have the "add weight to product attribute" version 0.2 but everytime I use easy populate it resets all the weight added per product attribute.
  11. it works fine. And that should work for now since I can process each transactions outside of OSC via my draft capture machine. I'll just have to verify the validity of each credit cards before I go ahead and process the orders from now on. thanks a bunch enigma1 :)
  12. here's the curve ball. I do not use authorize.net...or anything else. I have my own draft capture machine in my retail store provided by my bank and use it for all my online transactions also. So I have my employees input all the online transactions manualy. All I need the website to do is collect the credit card number for me.
  13. I have the same problem specified above...here's mine

    Seach Engine Friendly URL Support

ok guys, I need some advice. I installed this and got it to work...somewhat. The urls are friendly alright but now... When I click on a link in my naviagation bar, it just takes me back to my home site. here you guys can try it out. www.tahitiimports.com
  16. I know I know...You dun have to rub it in!!! :P But so far so good. I'm loving this experience. Thank you and good luck to you too.
  17. I also found out why my prices weren't posted correctly and it has to do with one of the settings in easy populate. I should have been more careful reading that setting. //**** Price includes tax? **** // Set the v_price_with_tax to // 0 if you want the price without the tax included // 1 if you want the price to be defined for import & export including tax. global $price_with_tax; $price_with_tax = false; The default setting for $price_with_tax is true. So if you upload an item in your cart with a price value of $9.95 then easy populate will minus the tax off of that value and post it as the actual price. So in short the $price_with_tax = true tells easy populate that the price in the text file already has tax included in it...So just set it to false and that will be fixed.
  18. I see...That makes sense. Thanks for the heads up Mibble
  19. Okay, so we're moving onto the next problem. When I download my EP file, the prices are shown correctly. When I upload it, it changes the price by a certain percentage. So if the price of one of my item is 9.95 in the Ez Populate text file, after I upload it on my actual catalog site it displays as 9.55. If someone could shine some light as to where to find the code for that, then it'll be of great help... As for you Sincraft, there is a contribution which allows you to add new fields in easy populate. Search for easy populate in the contribution page and one of the results should be the addon contribution to ez populate which allows you to add more new fields. As for your problem uploading your inventory, it seems like your paths may not be set correctly in your config files or your easy populate files. But then again, I'm not too sure since I'm not a guru of osc or ez populate. How are you editing your files? Are you using excel? If you are, then you have to make sure that when excel saves the file as a tab delimited text file it does not modify the format of the original file. I use a combination of excel and anyedit (or notepad)to make sure of that. So first I download the EP file from the server using ez populate. Then I create a copy of it. I then edit one of the copies without touching the other so that after I'm done editing the copy, I can compare the format of the orginal file with the one I edited. That way any characters that may have been added by Excel will be exposed by comparing both files (like the way excel saves the date format and the way the actual date format has to be for easy populate to recognize it, you can tweak excel so that it uses the same format required by EP). After a while, you'll know what to look for. I hope this helps, I'm not too good at this Osc stuff so I'm trying my best...which may not be that great considering I suck at all of this.
  20. Oh my...I found my mistake. Like middle stated, it lays in the easypopulate.php & document_root setting in your admin/includes/configure.php file. In my easypopulate.php file I had to change my $tempdir values and remove /catalog/ I don't know why and how it worked. but all i did is change /catalog/temp/ to /temp/ and it worked... I think the document_root setting tells ez populate where to look for the temp file already. By having /catalog/temp in there, you're telling it to look for a folder called catalog within the actual catalog folder. But I do not know why it's not returning an error. But I could be wrong. But hey it worked for me!!!
  21. Also, I just noticed that I can't create the file in the temp dir. I CHMODed it to 777 as required. I tried creating the EP file in there using EZ populate to see if that function worked, but it doesn't seem to be working. it tells me that the file was created there, but when I go there to check, its not in there... EZ Populate never returned any errors so I don't even know where to start looking. EDIT: I just tried creating a different temp dir and see if that would work, but it didn't. I tried adding the full path of my document_root in my $tempdir but that didn't work either...K now, i'm really out of ideas.
  22. My document_root is: define('DIR_FS_DOCUMENT_ROOT', '/home/sites/tahitiimports/catalog/'); and my temp directory listing is: $tempdir = "/catalog/temp/"; $tempdir2 = "/catalog/temp/";
  23. I just noticed a typo on my last post. I can download the file just fine. But I can't upload any new products. please help... :'( let me know which part of what code you would like to see...
  24. Ok guys, forgive my squirely ignorance but I can't get EP to work for me. I have EP 2.74 MS2 and Actual Attribute Price 1.41. And I can't get EP to work. I can't download the txt file just fine, but I can't upload a thing. And I do not receive any errors while uploading. Nothing shows, I can't even seem to edit any of the items I have added manually to the site. I read this forum over and over again for the last 5 days and couldn't find a thread related to my problem. I checked my easypopulate.php for configs that I may not have set up correctly. I made sure my $modelsize = 4; matched my model numbers that I inputed, checked for characters that may FUBAR sql and could not find a thing. I've modified my easypopulate.php to work with actual attribute price.141 and now I'm just stuck... Please shine some light on this...I'm sure its something retarded...I just can't get my finger on it.
