    Authorize.Net x_responds

    I guess what I am looking for is If someone has added a list of x_response_reason_code & x_avs_code return from Authorize.Net, with custom messages to be posted back to the user on why their card is getting declined. Thanks
  2. We are using PayPal IPN Module v1.0 For 2.2MS2 And we are having problems with setting up PayPal payments like we would like. We want the address the user puts in as their confirmed PayPal address to be checked by PayPal What PayPal is doing now when we pass them the order, is prompting "Shipping Information For security reasons, your seller requires that you include a Confirmed Address" And then asking me to choose one of my PayPal address, or giving me the option to add an addresss I don't want the address to be changed from that the user enters on our site. We just want PayPal to check that the address is indeed confirmed and either accept or decline the transaction. Can someone assist me with how to do this ?

    Authorize.Net x_responds

    Were using Authorize.net Consolidated v1.7 and want to add the responds message from Authorize.Net on why the order is getting declined. Such as 3 digit card code does not match Street Address does not match etc Here is the area of code in authorizenet.php that I found where we would edit for this, but was unable to find how to do this in searching the forums (seems this Contrib has been removed) Appricate any help // Change made by using ADC Direct Connection $response_vars = explode(',', $response[0]); $x_response_code = $response_vars[0]; $x_response_subcode = $response_vars[1]; $x_response_reason_code = $response_vars[2]; $x_response_reason_text = $response_vars[3]; if ($x_response_code != '1') { tep_db_query("delete from " . TABLE_ORDERS . " where orders_id = '" . (int)$insert_id . "'"); //Remove order if($x_response_code == '') { tep_redirect(tep_href_link(FILENAME_CHECKOUT_PAYMENT, 'error_message=' . urlencode('The server cannot connect to Authorize.net. Please check your cURL and server settings.'), 'SSL', true, false)); } else if($x_response_code == '2') { tep_redirect(tep_href_link(FILENAME_CHECKOUT_PAYMENT, 'error_message=' . urlencode('Your credit card was declined ') . urlencode('(') . urlencode("$x_response_reason_code") . urlencode('): ') . urlencode("$x_response_reason_text"), 'SSL', true, false)); } else if($x_response_code == '3') { tep_redirect(tep_href_link(FILENAME_CHECKOUT_PAYMENT, 'error_message=' . urlencode('There was an error processing your credit card ') . urlencode('(') . urlencode("$x_response_reason_code") . urlencode('): ') . urlencode("$x_response_reason_text"), 'SSL', true, false)); } else { tep_redirect(tep_href_link(FILENAME_CHECKOUT_PAYMENT, 'error_message=' . urlencode('There was an unspecified error processing your credit card.'), 'SSL', true, false)); }
  4. Been in the eCommerce business for 6 years, and one of the most fustrating things is how the address verification works with credit card processors (we use Authorize.Net) The customers funds are 1st held (authorized) and then the address is checked to see if it is the billing address. (if it does not match or is not available, we have it decline) If it could be done the other away around, it would be so much better. Customers often repeatly try with the same info (or try to edit it some to make it pass) then they have a bunch of authorizations on their account, and call their bank, and come screaming back at us. I have been wanting to write a script that 1st charges say $1, just to check AVS, and then if it matches (or is available to match - often its not available), then authorize the rest. Just wanted to check if anyone has done this, or if they come up with another way to combat this problem. Thanks!
  5. To update this, incase anyone has similar issues with one of the shipping methods not getting posted we found the session variables are stored in db (it's set in configure). and there is a function to read them. it uses common function to query db. in the last function all select queries changed to select SQL_NO_CHACHE. so he removed that substitution and it worked. If anyone knows which shipping module this is, please reply really want to know, as we know have another issue, where Candian zip codes don't get quotes So they can't order :(
  6. I am having problem with a shipping module I have. It is an older one, but I really like it. It gives you shipping price by zip code without being logged in. Trying to figure out what it is, so I can try to hunt down what the problem is (already have 2 days trying to figure it out!) Problem I am having is only with 3 Day Air. If this is choosen, the price is not carried over and added on, and there is no edit shipping option on the order confirmation page. Every other shipping option works fine Here is a couple screen shots of it. Anyone know which shipping module is ? or better yet, what could possible causing this error ? Thanks in advance
  7. Google masks its back links. If you want to see your backlinks use Yahoo http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=www.kitwe...my-vert-web-top
  8. Jared, that is the only problem I have (I didn't want to meantion it, as it isn't that big a deal to me) Is the text watermarking doesn't work for me either. Everytime I turn it on to test, the images are broken. Watermark images, no problems
  9. WoW Tom, I am so impressed. Not only with this Fantastic Contrib and your Readme file, but your support. I don't think I ever seen anyone stop and answer every single question! Kudo's! And Thanks So much for this great Add on! Tim
  10. trying to see where I went wrong, as I am getting this error, when I click on oder, then edit, invoice or packing slip, I get the following error 1054 - Unknown column 'comments' in 'field list' Doing a search on the forums, it looks like the error is from the comments is trying to go under orders. orders does not have a column comments, comments go to order_status_history. Anyone have any idea where I went wrong ?
  11. Scott, Excellent Contrib, thanks for adding it! I was looking for Contrib that did just this, but wanted 1 other feature. I hope it is ok with you that I share this with you in this post... My wife came accross a site that showed the tracking info right on her order status page, on a website she recently placed an order on. I that I thought was very nicely done, so I took a screen shot of it, and will post for review. I would love to see this for UPS orders, rather then pop open new window to UPS site. Give me your feedback, if it is something another Contrib already has. If not, I might look at adding it, as soon as I can get some time. Screen Shot of Tracking

    Authorize to Capture

    Searched for this, but didn't find anyting Is there a way to change Authorize only to Capture in Authorize.net when we change an order status to shipped ? or by some other means in the osC admin ? Very time consuming going into each order in Authorize.net, and marking it to be captured. Thanks in advance!
  13. I'll bump this for you, because I would like to hear other comments on this as well...
