    ASN Forum for osCommerce

I just checked on mine, and did not have a problem with loosing the cart. I added product to the cart, then went to the forum, did a forum search, went to the search results, then even did a new search from the results page. The cart never lost its content. What do you have your admin/configuration/sessions set as? I keep everything false except for prevent spider sessions.

    ASN Forum for osCommerce

A few things Ive done that may help others out. Disable having to login to the forum admin when your already in your admin: Open admin/asnf_admin.php find and comment out on line 28: require_once("asnf_auth.php"); You can then delete asnf_auth.php Thats it! In your catalog files find all instances of asnf_header.php and asnf_footer.php, Comment them out and then delete the asnf_header.php and asnf_footer.php files. Thats it for now. More to come..........

When installing on MS2.2RC1 look in admin/login.php find: require('includes/functions/password_funcs.php'); and comment it out as it has been added to application top with the install of this contribution. If using an earlier version of osCommerce check the admin/index.php, or do an admin folder search, for the same line.

What file did you have the error in and what version of sCommerce? Ms2.2 orMs2.2 RC1? I was installing on MS2.2RC1 and needed to add a } in catalog\create_account.php after the block of code refered to in step 3-e of the latest install file.

  10. Excellent. Thanks for all your help here. For those that are using imagemagic just point the code to your existing fonts folder: putenv('GDFONTPATH=' . DIR_FS_CATALOG . 'includes/imagemagic/fonts/'); Works like a champ.

Banner in the center of the index?

    I made a typo define('FILENAME_SPINNER', 'Spinner.php'); // spinner Module should be: define('FILENAME_SPINNER', 'spinner.php'); // spinner Module with a small s letter.

    WYSIWYG SPAW EDITOR Support Thread

Hey, this spaw editor seems like it is a good choice over the html area contrib. So has anyone that already has HTML area installed took it down and replaced with spaw? If it was just a matter of replacing for product descriptions, it would be a simple enough undo. But what I currently use the HTML area for is, product descriptions, article manager, email and newsletter and the info pages contrib. anyone know of a global change that would echo the spaw editor instead of the HTML area?

    cDynamic Meta Tags

Theres actually another way Ive thought of to do this. Instead of editing the main dynamic.php file, I should just add the database names to the language file. Then it would not involve any editing to the dynamic.php file. But I wonder if it would be quicker if the language file was totally eleminated? It would not make much difference, maybe shave a millisecond of the load time. I decided to add this to the database in the first place becuase Ive been working on some site for people that like to be able to control such things, but would have problems editing the launguage.php file. And this is just a really nice contribution compared to the header tags controller, IMO, Ive used them both and this one is simple to install, not to bulky, and I think its faster.

    cDynamic Meta Tags

    Sorry everyone, I should have made the code dynamic before I released it. This code should work if the current code does not. Open your Mysql manager and insert the following: INSERT INTO `configuration` VALUES ('', 'Store Description', 'STORE_DESCRIPT', 'The Next Level Of osCommerce', 'Place your sites meta description here, for use with dynamic meta-tags<br>', 1, 40, NULL, '2003-12-05 05:01:41', NULL,'tep_cfg_textarea('); INSERT INTO `configuration` VALUES ('', 'Store Index Description', 'STORE_METDEX', 'Productivity Sold Here', 'Place a seperate \r\nindex page meta description here, for use with dynamic meta-tags<br>', 1, 41, NULL, '2003-12-05 05:01:41', NULL,'tep_cfg_textarea('); INSERT INTO `configuration` VALUES ('', 'Store Key Words', 'STORE_KEYWORD', 'ecommerce, oscommerce, shopping cart', 'Place your sites meta key words here, for use with dynamic meta-tags<br>', 1, 42, NULL, '2003-12-05 05:01:41', NULL,'tep_cfg_textarea(');

The instuctions from 1.4 worked well for me on my initial install. The only thing you do different with 1.5 is run the datafiles into your SQL server, then you should see a section in admin/configure near the bottem of the page that controles your descriptions and keywords. I will look back through the instructions and see if there maybe something I had to change along the way, but right off the top of my head I cant think of anything.

New UPS XML Shipping Module available

Excellent! I changed it in the php file the first time but failed to do it this time around, now I just changed it in the SQL so I wont have to worry about it again. Thanks for the help and all you have done with this contribution.

New UPS XML Shipping Module available

I just added the newest version, I have not had this error before and it only appears when I click to edit the UPS module Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_CONSTANT_ENCAPSED_STRING, expecting ')' in /home/mediafee/public_html/now/admin/modules.php(220) : eval()'d code on line 1 I also have the USPS methods, Fedex XML and the UPS packages installed. The error only shows up with this newest version of UPSXML. Any ideas, what to do? I know I could edit the modules.php file but I dont think that would be correct since no other shipping modules are affected.

    cDynamic Meta Tags

New version uploaded. Changed includes/meta_tags.php to read from database instead of the language file. Took out Definitions in the languages/meta_tags.php and placed them in the database. Removed the second instance of keywords, as it seems to generate more than enough keywords already. I have checked the source code on many pages after installing the changes, and it looks like it is working. Nothing major, just makes it easier and a bit more integrated.
  21. Never Mind, I found the solution, I had to find two instances of <?php echo $inputs; ?> and comment them out. 1 was for the area in the front end and the other for use inside the edit attribute. If anyone needs to know the exact lines then leave a post.
  22. Can someone tell me where to get rid of the extra form area for the attributes comment? Or is it supposed to look like this? As you see I have the same input box on each side of the select menu. I have searched all over for duplicate code and can not find anything to remove it. Also, there should be a length box in the middle, I have that, I just didnt when I took this pic.
  23. I dont know what happened but everything is normal now Maybe I was seeing a cached page after updating the table. Does the admin get cached? Well thanks for the help Jack and anyone else.
  24. This is what the table the above error refers too looks like SELECT * FROM `me_mine`.`configuration` WHERE `configuration_id` LIKE '%MAX_LINKS_DISPLAY%' OR `configuration_title` LIKE '%MAX_LINKS_DISPLAY%' OR `configuration_key` LIKE '%MAX_LINKS_DISPLAY%' OR `configuration_value` LIKE '%MAX_LINKS_DISPLAY%' OR `configuration_description` LIKE '%MAX_LINKS_DISPLAY%' OR `configuration_group_id` LIKE '%MAX_LINKS_DISPLAY%' OR `sort_order` LIKE '%MAX_LINKS_DISPLAY%' OR `last_modified` LIKE '%MAX_LINKS_DISPLAY%' OR `date_added` LIKE '%MAX_LINKS_DISPLAY%' OR `use_function` LIKE '%MAX_LINKS_DISPLAY%' OR `set_function` LIKE '%MAX_LINKS_DISPLAY%'
  25. Ok I deleted the 6 link tables and reran the links_setup.php. I still get the error below, This error only shows up on the links.php page, not link_categories.php, or links_contact.php. Any other suggestions? Warning: Division by zero in /home/ravenvie/public_html/admin/includes/classes/split_page_results.php on line 33 1064 - You have an error in your SQL syntax.
