    NEW! Complete Order Editing Tool!

    I had many problems with the edit order page showing up completly blank when you go to edit an order with an existing product, or if you create a new order the page would go blank after you add the product. The problem was coming from the free shipping for xxxx amount shipping module (not the order total module). I turned it off and now the editor works fine.

    Credit Card with CVV2(Contribution Question)

    Ive used this in the past. Someone post it didnt work, but it worked fine for the company who used it. ( untill I turned them in ) I dont know if it will work right off the bat with any of the newer RC releases. http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/3222

    Hows this for wasting your thread space? Now maybe you should try to reinstall from the beginning or choose another contribution that does this. And what site are you doing this on? Let us see so we may help you. ;) Dont worry no one here would turn you in.

    What Contrib Would Do This ?

    Thats the also purchased module. Its already installed by defualt. Im not sure right off hand about adding an extended warranty at checkout. You could use the gift wrap mod and reword it for warrenties, or you could add the warrentee as a products attribute.
  7. found a typo: In the code for includes/functions/general/ find: ( strpos($_SERVER['REQUEST_URI'], '-t-') ? ($querytype = 'filename_articles-tPath=' . $HTTP_GET_VARS['pID']) : replace with: ( strpos($_SERVER['REQUEST_URI'], '-t-') ? ($querytype = 'filename_articles-tPath=' . $HTTP_GET_VARS['tPath']) :
  8. This is for Links Manager I had this error in my links page when I would click on a link category: Warning: constant() [function.constant]: Couldn't find constant in /home/blablabla/includes/functions/general.php on line 8462 Error! Unable to determine the page link! Its an easy fix though. in the code that goes into includes/functions/general.php find: ( strpos($_SERVER['REQUEST_URI'], '-i-') ? ($querytype = 'filename_information-info_id=' . $HTTP_GET_VARS['info_id']) : Add under: ( strpos($_SERVER['REQUEST_URI'], '-links-') ? ($querytype = 'filename_links-lPath=' . $HTTP_GET_VARS['lPath']) : Then under that where it has: false ))))))))) ); Add 1 more ) so its: false )))))))))) ); Thats it! Ive tested products, categories, articles, articles_info, info_pages, manufactures, and now links. Works Fantastic! Thank you Babygurgles. This is going to help a lot. Whether some people believe it or not. I never even realized my urls were GARBAGE untill the other day when I was reading your post.
  9. I have a site I built that uses version 2.1d. This site was doing very good in google search engine, was coming up in the top 3 listings for a few keywords. Then BAM! The mother Fuusjcjc crashed big time. It still does good in msn and yahoo, but is way back in google. As for amazon, they dont have much to worry about, they have become a common name and have advertising in more places than just the internet.

    Help

    Thats already a built in feature. Heres some info that can be found on this site: http://www.oscommerce.info/docs/english/e_...attributes.html the screenshot will look different, but you should get the hang of it. Look at that whole section of this site and get to know your store.

    Dynamic SiteMap

    That was the wrong freaking code! Sorry guys. Heres the working code. Just replace that with this: <?php //ARTICLE MANAGER START echo '<ul class="sitemap">'; echo '<li><a href="' . tep_href_link(FILENAME_ARTICLES, '', 'NONSSL') . '">' . BOX_ALL_ARTICLES . '</a></li>' . ""; $topics_query = tep_db_query("select t.topics_id, td.topics_name, t.parent_id from " . TABLE_TOPICS . " t, " . TABLE_TOPICS_DESCRIPTION . " td where t.parent_id = '" . (int)$topic_links[$i] . "' and t.topics_id = td.topics_id and td.language_id = '" . (int)$languages_id . "' order by sort_order, td.topics_name"); if (tep_db_num_rows($topics_query) > 0) { $row = 0; while ($topics = tep_db_fetch_array($topics_query)) { $row++; echo '<li><a href="' . tep_href_link(FILENAME_ARTICLES, 'tPath=' . $topics['topics_id']) . '">' . $topics['topics_name'] . '</a></li>' . ""; } } echo '</ul>'; //ARTICLE MANAGER END ?>

    Article Manager v1.0

    My Bad Looks like I fudged that. I should have got this up sooner. heres the correct code: <?php //ARTICLE MANAGER START echo '<ul class="sitemap">'; echo '<li><a href="' . tep_href_link(FILENAME_ARTICLES, '', 'NONSSL') . '">' . BOX_ALL_ARTICLES . '</a></li>' . ""; $topics_query = tep_db_query("select t.topics_id, td.topics_name, t.parent_id from " . TABLE_TOPICS . " t, " . TABLE_TOPICS_DESCRIPTION . " td where t.parent_id = '" . (int)$topic_links[$i] . "' and t.topics_id = td.topics_id and td.language_id = '" . (int)$languages_id . "' order by sort_order, td.topics_name"); if (tep_db_num_rows($topics_query) > 0) { $row = 0; while ($topics = tep_db_fetch_array($topics_query)) { $row++; echo '<li><a href="' . tep_href_link(FILENAME_ARTICLES, 'tPath=' . $topics['topics_id']) . '">' . $topics['topics_name'] . '</a></li>' . ""; } } echo '</ul>'; //ARTICLE MANAGER END ?>

    How to add images quickly to products

    Get a friend to help and add them in 2 at a time, get two friends to help and add them in 3 at a time. But seriously, if youve only got 100 products, easy populate isnt worth the time. I could manually add 100 products with descriptions and several images quicker than getting the file ready for easy populate.

    You need to add the table in includes/database.php and admin/includes/database.php

    Great News. I had recently rearranged the code that looks in the database in the catalog files, and changed all the style definitions to use standard osc stylesheet. But then somehow it hit my delete folder and is now gone. I'll will wait for your next version and then redo the styles to match. Excellent work so far.

    I havent been able to look into it yet, but you would have to remove the code calling to the function in the asnf_viewtopic.php, asnf_index.php, asnf_newtopic.php. Otherwise it will just look for the function.

    I just checked on mine, and did not have a problem with loosing the cart. I added product to the cart, then went to the forum, did a forum search, went to the search results, then even did a new search from the results page. The cart never lost its content. What do you have your admin/configuration/sessions set as? I keep everything false except for prevent spider sessions.

    A few things Ive done that may help others out. Disable having to login to the forum admin when your already in your admin: Open admin/asnf_admin.php find and comment out on line 28: require_once("asnf_auth.php"); You can then delete asnf_auth.php Thats it! In your catalog files find all instances of asnf_header.php and asnf_footer.php, Comment them out and then delete the asnf_header.php and asnf_footer.php files. Thats it for now. More to come..........

    When installing on MS2.2RC1 look in admin/login.php find: require('includes/functions/password_funcs.php'); and comment it out as it has been added to application top with the install of this contribution. If using an earlier version of osCommerce check the admin/index.php, or do an admin folder search, for the same line.
