    Uk Shipping modules

OK I managed to fix it.... Just for other Newbies... Remember to lower the tare weight of parcels in the admin section if you sell small packages... admin>configuration>shipping/packaging and to figure out the correct percentage for the larger parcels.

    Royal Mail Module

Hi Guys, I am new to all this and have just installed the contribution myself... so this may help some of you... from the newbie mistakes I made at first. You need to set number of zones in .php file ( I just used 1) You need designate the iso codes for all countries in that zone, (GB is what I used for UK) Then like many of u I have probs with weights and prices... Remember to set the tare weights of parcels.... in Admin>Configuration>shipping/packaging eg, i set small packets to 0.04, and the percentage to 150, because i got parcels at about 6kg Hope this helps. Alex

    Uk Shipping modules

Hi I installed the UK shipping contribution that allows royal mail delivery options but it will not work for me yet... can anyone here help? I have only one zone set, and the iso_2 code is set to GB... also the table rates are sety correctly: 0.5:4.1,1:5.25,2:6.6,10:18.5 But if i purchase something with a weight of 0.6, the cost is still 18.50 argh! Any ideas?
