    cDynamic Meta Tags

Hello, I am currently using cdynamic meta tags v1.4. I installed it in 2007 and it seems to be working as it was intended. I am in the process of getting my site listed in DMOZ. I read that to prevent google from using the DMOZ site description in the google search results I had to add this meta tag. <meta name="robots" content="NOODP"> My question is, how do I add this line of code while keeping the current contribution in working order. I want to make sure google keeps my current site description the same. Thanks :)

Please disregard the above post... Somehow something got overwritten from the original install.

    [Contribution] Database Manager

Hello, I installed your contrib and seems to work fine, thanks. I just had a question... in the contrib file you included some screen shots. I have never seen this screen when I perform a restore. This is not a nitpick lol. I was just wondering because it looks cool.

How Did You Hear About Us - Support

Hello, I have been reading through this support thread and I don't think anyone has had this issue. I installed this contrib a while back and everything was working fine. I recently noticed that when I go to create a new account the referral box is not disdplaying properly. It seems to function just fine but visually it doesn't look right. Notice the extra ENTRY_SOURCE_TEXT being displayed. I don't think I have made any changes to those files since the origial install. I compared most of my files to the original contrib files and can't seem to find any differences. Would a PHP version upgrade cause a glitch? Currently the server is running: HTTP Server: Apache PHP Version: 5.2.6 (Zend: 2.2.0) Thanks.

    Contribution Issue

I don't think there is a fix for that yet. But as a work around try leaving out the "quotes", see if that makes a difference

Not sure if it makes a difference but... did ya try removing the password protection from the site?

    Official PayPal IPN Support Thread

Hello, I'm having an issue with Encrypted Web Payments. I am using version: OSC v2.2MS2 along with 12 Jan 2005 - osCommerce PayPal IPN Module v1.1 For 2.2MS2 I have read all 19 pages of this thread :D and have tried many suggestions that were posted. This contrib installed fine and is working great with both the sandbox and live servers when "Enable Encrypted Web Payments" is set to false. But things get sticky when I set it to true... not sure where I'm going wrong. Here is a quick check list of what I have done so far: 1)I have 2 test accts setup in my sandbox. One buisness acct. and one personal acct. both are confirmed and verified. 2)In the buisness acct. profile I have an API Test Certificate installed and downloaded the "cert_key_pem.txt" file. 3)I opened the "cert_key_pem.txt" file and noticed that both my private key and public cert are in there. So I followed some advice from another thread and split the file into 2 individual files. One named "my_private_key.pem" and the other "my_public_cert.pem" 4)Back in the sandbox buisness acct. profile/Encrypted Payment Settings/ I downloaded the PayPal Public Certificate "paypal_cert_pem.txt" I also went ahead and uploaded my public cert. "my_public_cert.pem" and wrote down the cert ID# 5)I uploaded the 3 files "my_private_key.pem", "my_public_cert.pem" and "paypal_cert_pem.txt" into a folder (CHMOD 700) 6)created a working directory (CHMOD 777) 7)used absolute paths and changed my openssl location (I confirmed this with my host) in the paypal IPN configuration. Now when I go to order confirmation I don't get any php errors on screen as discribed in some previous posts. I just get an order confirmation page with no billing info. No "confirm order" button is showing up either. The order never makes it to the paypal sandbox server, but it does get recorder in the database. Also if it means anything, I do get files generating into my working directory named "***encrypted.txt" and "***signed.txt" but they don't get automatically deleted. I believe I covered most, if not all, the steps. I also repeated steps 2-5 a few times. Perhaps the problem is that I'm using the cert&key combo provided by paypal? I've read that could be an issue. RikR's suggested generating your own cert&key combo but my host doesn't have a cert manager in the control panel. Not sure how I can generate my own at this point. Thanks in advance to whomever can point me in the right direction. Sorry for the long winded post... just wanted to explain myself as thoroughly as possible. P.S. Hey RikR, how did ya manage to upload your "twowayradiodirectory.com.crt" file? Did you just have to change the extension to .pem? Paypal won't allow me to upload any other file type except for .pem Here is how my paypal IPN is configured. PayPal IPN Module v1.0 Discount Coupons Issue

Ok, I did find a fix for this after a more thorough search :D In the paypal ipn module, under... -------------- Transaction Type Send individual items to PayPal or aggregate all as one total item? -------------- I selected aggregate instead of individual and it passed the discounted total to paypal. Just posted this in case someone stumbles on this thread looking for an answer.

PayPal IPN Module v1.0 Discount Coupons Issue

Hi, I am having the same issue... I have this version of tha paypal ipn installed: 12 Jan 2005 - osCommerce PayPal IPN Module v1.1 For 2.2MS2 I am trying to use this members discount contribution: 2 Aug 2002 - Members Discount v2.2 I have run a few tests using different sort orders in "Order Total Modules" in the admin section but nothing seems to work. When I checkout using a paypal sandbox testing acct. the discount never gets passed on to the paypal total. Can anyone shed some light as to why this is happening? Thank you for your time.

    Contribution Issue

What I do as a work around for this problem is I DON'T use the WYSIWYG editor that came with this contrib. I do all my html editing with an external html editor and copy and paste my code into the page manager box. If I wanted to add an internal link I would format it like this: Don't use any " " if it's an internal link. I'm not sure how to add external links yet  <a href=/catalog/contact_us.php>contact us</a> If I wanted to add an image It would look like this: same rule for the " " <img src=/catalog/images/oscommerce.gif> If I need to edit the page I copy and paste the new code over the old code in page manager... I never edit directly inside page manager. Also if you need to add special characters such as "Quotation marks" or an 'Apostrophe' I use HTMLSpecial Characters codes to cut down on the extra \ problem. Here is a useful link HTMLSpecial Characters This work around seems to work ok for me
  11. Just wanted to mention that your code in the above post worked perfectly for me. Being a non-php guy, I say thank you. Your help was most appreciated.
  12. Thanks for the quick tip Steve... Nice MOD, looks great. I have a question about using this MOD in conjuction with the InfoBox Admin MOD. I have gotten each of them to work when installed seperately but not together... I run into a problem when I do a file compare for the changes in: /catalog/includes/boxes/categories.php there are alot of differences in the code... I'll understand if you don't have the time to tackle my issue, but I was wondering if anyone got these two mods working together? thanks in advance
  13. Hello, Is it possible to modify the code to show the category count in parenthesis, like the default categories box displayed before the mod? thank you for your time...
  14. Hello Steve, I have a question about your "Categories Box Bullet and Line" and "Infobox Admin" contributions. Is there a compatibility issue with the two? I'm using OCS 2.2ms2 and have installed Contribs in this order: OnTheFly_GDThumbs_1_5 Infobox_Admin_ms2_2.2 These contribs are working fine. Next I tried installing the "Categories Box Bullet and Line" and ran into a snag.... Your categories.php file is very different from my working copy due to the infobox admin MOD. I tried to merge the difference in the two files using the "beyond Compare2" program. I thought I did a thorough job but when I tested it live only my first listed category shows up with none of my other categories or sub categories. It's the only thing listed... one, uno category :D Perhaps you can take a quick glance at my merged categories.php code. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. :thumbsup: <?php /* $Id: categories.php,v 1.23 2002/11/12 14:09:30 dgw_ Exp $ osCommerce, Open Source E-Commerce Solutions http://www.oscommerce.com Copyright (c) 2002 osCommerce Released under the GNU General Public License */ if ( (USE_CACHE == 'true') && !defined('SID')) { echo tep_cache_categories_box(); } else { function tep_show_category($counter) { global $foo, $categories_string, $id, $aa; for ($a=0; $a<$foo[$counter]['level']; $a++) { if ($a == $foo[$counter]['level']-1) { $categories_string .= "<font color='#ff0000'> </font>"; } else { $categories_string .= "<font color='#ff0000'> </font>"; } } if ($foo[$counter]['level'] == 0) { if ($aa == 1) { $categories_string .= "<hr>"; } else {$aa=1;} } $categories_string .= '<nobr><a nowrap href="'; if ($foo[$counter]['parent'] == 0) { $cPath_new = 'cPath=' . $counter; } else { $cPath_new = 'cPath=' . $foo[$counter]['path']; } $categories_string .= tep_href_link(FILENAME_DEFAULT, $cPath_new); $categories_string .= '">' . tep_image(DIR_WS_IMAGES .
