Sorry - should have added the answer to my question - but realy - i'm a beginner - and actualy i'm still not sure if i'm 100% correct here - but when i mess around with the code it changes on my catalog - so i guess i'm right ... In the classes/shopping_cart.php you got somewhere: return $this->total += tep_add_tax($products_price, $products_tax) * $quantity; and in the classes/currencies.php you got: return $this->format(tep_add_tax($products_price, $products_tax) * $quantity); its somewhere in the display_price function and again in the display_netto_EH_price. I'm still rather confused on how it all works - it looks like osc handles prices in two ways - my shoppingcart (box) and the sub total in my shoppingcart (shopping_cart.php) and the checkout_confirmation and shopping_cart total prices are different calculated >.< I still need to figure it out - its not easy when you only know verry basic php >.< I already added a verry complicated price-calculation to it instead of the posted code above.. but its not working ... Been a couple of days now trying to figure out how osc does it calculations and what jan did with all of it :P kind regards, tom

Hi, Does anybody knows where sppc calculates the price that shows up in the shoping_cart.php? If i'm not wrong i found the subtotal in the classes/shoping_cart.php but i think the real calc is in the PriceFormatter.php (made for sppc). However it seems like i cant find it. Kind Regards, Tom

How about, instead of putting those colums with every product (and filling it in each time) why not put it as an option in each category? Or does that sounds a lot easier then it is :s

4 Days later i found out what i'm gonna do. Ill post my answer in here, for any other people that might use the search function and get out on my post. What i did: I merged my idea of having 'post' and 'abx' since they where the same price after all and that way, we can choose how to deilver it. Then i just turned flat.php into my 'post' i only changed the language files for this one. Cause it does the same. To make my Taxipost i just did the same but with table.php (changed some text in there) and in the language files. Then i installed a module Store_pickup_version1.3a that i found on the dutch forums (It was there that i got my help to) to get my 'pick-up' option so they could come pick it up themself at the store for no fee. I also installed Discount for Payment Type to get a discount for a payment type in % and installed a Payment method fee that give a fee on a chose method. Greets, and hope this can help someone out. I was thinking of an option in the admin - when you can edit customers you could choose if they can get free shipping or not (sppc-attrib alse makes a option in that page to choose in witch grouop they are. Hi, I also got janz's contrib price break installed ~ but I wanna take it even a bit further then 1Putts and Julinhamp. I need a overal price break :s for each category :s Ex. this is your total: 20 x Product A (category GC) Attrib b 10 x Product A (category GC) Attrib c 30 x Product C (category GC) 20 x Product F (category K) 40 x Product G (category K) So I now would like a price break when your over 50 products in a category you get discount :s IS this even posible?? To get it even more complicated: how about The Quantity: i need two different prices on them. A normal price who will be counted for products ordered in the quantity given in - and a price for customers who get under that amount. Ex. Products is packed in packs of 50. You are still able to order products by one. So, for ex. you order 75 x Products A you get 50 at normal prices + 25 at a bit more price. :S Maybe that last one was asked to much? At the admin page - Modules - Payment - I installed Check/Money order. You can set up various options here when you press edit - but at the bottom there is= Make Payable to: Who should payments be made payable to? [Fillinbox] How does this future work? Do you need to add the name of a customer in it? Or can i add a group to? (I have SPPC installed) Or is this for something completely different??? Greets, Tom

Hi, I just installed Rigadin's Payment method fee contribution and i have some problems. When I check out, and chose my shipping and then go to method I do get to see the extra cost of a method. Ex. Cash on Deilvery (3.00EUR) But when i confirm, and take the next step theres nothing calculated in my total (the 3.00euro is nowhere added) Does any of you use this contribution? or could the maker of it assist me in this? I followed everything like in the instalation doc. I have no clue why its not working. And another problem that i dont understand is i get an error when i'm in another language (I copy'd the english file that was with the contrib to my dutch files to, at the right location) Error i get: Fatal error: Cannot redeclare tep_db_connect() (previously declared in /var/www/html/oscommerce-2.2ms2/catalog/includes/functions/database.php:14) in /var/www/html/oscommerce-2.2ms2/catalog/includes/functions/database.php on line 14 Can anyone help me out here? Hi, Can someone help me here? I would like to set up options of payments, but i want to charge them for it. Ex. Check/Mony Order (no extra costs) Cash on Delivery (+ ?3.00 to the total cost) Credit Card (-2% on the total cost) So, is this posible to do?? Also, I have SPPC (seperate prices per customers) installed ~ does anyone know if i'm able to somehow make surtan groups not allow to pay with check/mony order and other groups alow them to??? This is how i would like it to be for now: 4 options in Shipping: Post: ?5.00 ABX: ?5.00 TaxiPost: ?2.10 per 5kg Flat Rate: ?0.00 Note:Free shipping for orders over 125.00EUR I installed a shipping mod in my admin that makes the free shipping and works as i would like it - also the flat rate works as it should be - but cant figure out how to do the other 3?? Hi, I have no problem with it, all the contribition i have installed so far (like only 5 so far - i'm relative new to osC) where installed by merging the contrib file with the excisting one, it was easy to do, cause all the contrib i used had what mwdesign described: // Bof contribname code code code // Eof contribname or <!-- Bof contribname --> code code code <!-- Eof contribname --> Its then relative easy to see where the modifications where. To backup my excisting site - I just use my ftp-upload program - and download my whole shop this way. It takes a while yes - but i have my backup. If you dont use the build in utility from osC to upload you need a program - that can easely download to - so backup created. And in the manager you can backup your database easely by a single click (Tools - Backup). Then i also have a clean osC version backup on my harddisk incase i need a clean file to work from. (ex. to look lines up - or original code) And then, of course, there are many different people making contrib's, and there is a standard, and I think most stick to it. But its inevitable for contrib's to be different if that many different people make it. Greets, Tom

Hum, i have them bouth installed :s but its not working from my admin pennel :( When i type in my link to the create_acount.php there it works - then i can select states, but not in my admin, cause, if i'm not wrong, i think the 'add customer from admin' contri get his form from within the customer.php page and not from the create_acount.php :s or am i totaly lost here? Hi, I have the same problems as mentioned above. Have they ever been solved? and why is there not a good version out there for download. As this seems to be a must have contribution. I have the same problem as akmac, I see a new row with 'Atrib sort' but when i change the value it resets to 0 every time And when i want to add a new atribute i get this: 1136 - Column count doesn't match value count at row 1 insert into products_attributes values ('', '90', '6', '17', '0', '+') [TEP STOP] Help would be more then welcome. Hi all, I wondered if someone could help me to combine two contributions?? I would like to combine: http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,1644 and http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,2028 Thats the "Account create in admin" and the "Country-State Selector". I think the big adjustment will be to change the code added by "Country-State Selector' to the create_account.php to the customers.php in admin. But i'm a big n00b in php-land - so maybe i'm overlooking some important things to do so. Is there somebody out there who already tried or made something like this? Hi Steve, Can someone help me pls? I already have a contribution installed that allows me to make my customer from the admin pannel (Customers Add ~ http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,1644) and i disabled the create acount for visitors. So i have total control and make customer myself. I was looking for something like your contribution - to make a Country-State selector, it sounds nice, so i installed it, and tested it (how it was meant to be on the create_acount for users, and it works nice) But now i want to remove that 'create_acount' again so you can only make acounts in the admin. :s Is it easy to merge those two?? Cause right now i'm looking at bouth pages, but have no clue where i should put the updates from the create_acount in my customers.php page in admin :s Has anyone tried this before? It shouldnt be to hard i think, cause my customers.php (with an "edit" button now) looks the same to fill in, but where i change the option to refresh it when you select your country (and prob some other modded code from the create_acount page?) I'm new to osCommerce and need a system where the admin can set customer-levels (like diferent prices and products for customergroups). I already have Seperate Prices Per Customer installed and like it, but i also heard of B2B. Can someone give me feedback on what contribution would be better?
