  1. I do not think the problem is the checkout_confirmation file. The problem is caused the changes you are instructed to make in the JAVASCRIPT DISABLED FIX to the checkout_process.php file. I remm'd these changes out in my checkout_process file and my checkout now works fine. Of course now people can checkout on my store without agreeing to my terms if they have javascript disabled in their web browser. The JAVASCRIPT DISABLED FIX needs, errr, fixing

    cDynamic Meta Tags

This is a great contribution and it is working for me. But I have a problem whereby my product descriptions use common words a lot. This results in this contribution putting the same word in the meta tags maybe 10 times or more. As search engines frown on word repetition this is a bad thing. Plus it takes up room that might be better used by other words that might be added. Are you guys talking about the same problem here? Is it easy to modify this contribution so that it will only insert a word or phrase into the meta tags once? Thought I would ask befor I started hacking around my code ;)
  3. Me too. This problem is actually stopping me from going live now as since I installed this, payments have stopped working on both Paypal and Worldpay. I just get returned to the order confirmation page and the shopping cart is not emptied. I cannot find any info on this specific problem anywhere, or an official support thread. HELP!

    [Contribution]Paypal IPN - Devosc

I think the problem that I and Joed have are casued by the same thing: after the cutomer is returned to the shop after paying on paypals site, the shop is not updated correctly, the shopping cart is not emptied, and IF the customer bought a download file then the link does not appear. the downloads problem is a symptopn of a greater problem which appears to be caused by this contribution. look at the link to the screenshots I posted, all will be clear.

I have had downloads working fine using the inbuilt credit card payment module. I have also had downloads working fine using the worldpay 4.0 module on a live site. The problem you are having looks identical to mine (look at the link to the photos I posted above) and is caused by this Paypal IPN contribution (or at least that’s the way it looks). Most likely its not passing the right information to the shop when you get back to the checkout success page so the shop does not display a download link. But as I’m not a PHP programmer I’m in no position to do really anything about it.

In order to help find a solution I have taken several screenshots of my OSC setup, the process of checking out and what I get when I am returned to my site from paypal. Here is a link to a zip file containing the photos: http://s53.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=1ZN8ES7...LD393JOVOJH6NIK Please note, this was done on a live web server with SSL and a live paypal account. I hope this helps anyone out there to find a solution to this problem….

II have exactly the same problem (you saved my typing all that out, again :D ). This problem has stopped me from going live for the last 2 weeks. I also have a fresh installation of both the latest OSC build and paypal IPN 3.1.5. I was able to use paypal ok using the inbuilt paypal module that comes with osc before I installed this contrib. Anyone have a solution to this?

    NEW! Complete Order Editing Tool!

I?m trying to work out if I need this? so can I ask what may be a really dumb question?. Why would you want to change an order? Once an order is complete the customer has paid and its done and dusted right? You can change the order but you still have to get the customer to pay for any changes so why not just delete the order and get them to do it again? Thanks in advance
