  1. Hi Zac, Sorry our site was down for some time. It is back online now with detailed installation docs and online forums if you run into any problems.

Hi there, I am the lead developer for the josC! Project - the open source bridge for osCommerce and Joomla. Our site has just been put back online today after going through a security review and modifications. Detailed online documentation is available for registered users. Please make sure you read it thoroughly and understand that there are some limitations (albeit most limitations is development time to integrate). If you like the josC! Project and how it helps you for free, please let us know by posting your review on the Joomla Extensions site.
  3. Hi all, There is an update to the josC! Project at http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/7235. If you have any questions, please feel free to post here and ask questions about it - although official support forums are at http://joscproject.com/forums. And just to clarify further, it is an open source and free project so it is free to download and use.
  4. Hi Jan Zonjee, Thank you for pointing that out. There are a couple of things I should clarify here; eSales: The josC! Project is a division of eSales Limited The Terms of Use: The Terms of Use about software on the website are very general and cover all software (whether existing or not and whether the property of eSales or not). The josC! Project release will be made available for free to develop their Joomla! based websites with osCommerce under the GNU GPL. It is only when it is launched onto a public website domain that there is a commercial fee. Of course, the source code will be provided and it will not stop other developers from downloading it and making derivative works of it. Pricing: The josC! Project will be distributed under the GNU GPL and although I require a fee, I of course will not be able to enforce it, but I am hoping my grocery money will keep rolling in from this and the small fee will go long way to helping end users receive great support. My apologies if I have posted this in the wrong forum. Thanks, Daniel Van Wijk - Lead Developer The josC! Project
  5. Hi everyone, I am informing osCommerce users before the 2007 is done and dusted :-" that there is an upcoming release of The josC! Project which is a true bridge for osCommerce and Joomla! If you have any questions about this bridge, please post your comments and questions here and I will do my best to answer everyone.
