Anyone? I'm not a newbie so I'm sure there are others who would like to know how to position the STS tags within a html table. I understand I could just reformat the table but there should be an easier way...so how can I move them? Like I said above the $categorybox automatically gets shoved over all the way to the left of the table cell and no matter what html formatting I do, I cannot get the $categorybox output to be centered in the table....

Hi. I've used STS for some time now but have a question. How do you move the $categorybox around with <div> tags? For example, the category box is displayed in my html table but its too far to the left. So I put <div> tags around it to center it but it will not work. Pls help.

[contribution] Simple Template System (sts)
hayesb2 replied to DiamondSea's topic in Templates and Images
I already have a template I want to use and I have inserted my STS tags and everything is working great except for 1 thing - the search. The template I'm using already had a search text box and a corresponding graphic search button...but when I insert the $searchbox tag it completely messes it up because it tries to insert another text box with its own image button. What I need to know, is how do I use the existing search text box and search button? -
This seems to work great. Thanks alot!

Thank you for the quick answer. Just one more thing.. If I put this index.html file in my root directory, I cant use the STS tags correct? If so, then I dont think thats what I'm looking for. I still want to utilize the STS tags. STS allows you to make unique template pages for all your products, manufacturers, categories, etc yet it wont allow you to make a unique template for your index page - the most important one! :) I hope someone can prove me wrong and its just something I'm overlooking...

I am having this exact same problem as Hunabku. I have just spent 4 hrs with no success trying to do something that seems like it should be simple. All I want is for my home page to have its own template and then all other pages default to the "sts_template.html" How can I define a template which is specific to only the site's home page (index.php) ? Someone please help me I'm pulling my hair out over this...
