  1. Hi, I have the gift voucher installed and working using ms-max which comes bundled with "Credit Class/Gift Voucher/Discount Coupons 5.05". One of the things I have found is that when redeeming a gift voucher it takes you to the redeem page but does not force you to create an account or login. It automatically redeems the voucher. When you login it will add the amount to your account. Or if you create an account at that time it will add it to your new account. The problem is it does not force you to do one of these things first (log in or create an account). The faq.php does state that this is the method it uses. So is there something missing? Below is the portion of the faq.php that addresses this redemption process. Any ideas?
  2. I have just installed php 4.3.1 (locally) which is supposed to include gd 2.0 but when I view the server info I don't see the gd library at all. Should there be an entry for the gd graphics library? Thanks Rick

  4. Hello, I have set up my store without a login box. When a customer goes to checkout they are taken to a screen that allows them to either login (if they already have an account) or create an account at that point. I followed this thread when setting up my store. http://forums.oscommerce.com/viewtopic.php...highlight=login My question is can the purchase without an account be integrated in some way with the method I am using?   5. Hello, I have installed the thumbs3 contribution by Radders. It does not seem to be working no matter how I specify the "small image width" or "small image height" in admin. David Radders (the author) has looked at my file and said it appears to be installed correctly but I can seem to get it to work. I am under the assumption that the images that appear on my default page should be the resampled images and if I check the properties I should see the file size significantly reduced. I don't see this which is why I believe it is not working correctly for some reason. My photos are in a sub-directory under images but I am told it should still work correctly. I am running 2.2ms1 with php 4.2 and my gd says 1.6.2 or higher. David, if you are out there can you give me a hand please or anyone else who might have this installed and working correctly. Hi, I was under the impression from reading several threads that the header tag controller contribution would also allow for the "Let's see what we have here" line to be replaced with the category name. I have installed the contrib but only seem to get the category name if there are sub categories. Even then the sub-categories don't dislplay their category names. Have I done something wrong? I see there are other contributions that are supposed to take care of this also but I would rather just use one contrib than two if it's possible. Thanks in advance for your help. Rick P.S.   7. Hi, The regions contribution is very close to what I need to do. The difference is it uses a fixed cost (based on the carts amount) per region. I would like to ship using a percentage (based on the carts amount) per region. Can anyone tell me how I can do this? Very simple terms please as I don't really know anything about php but I am willing to get my feet wet and try to work with it. The module itself is short and seems simple but I am unsure about what values to change and/or add to try and base it on percentage of the carts amount instead of a fixed cost per total cart amount.     Zone Shipping via UPS

    Hi, I have searched the forums and the documentation and can't seem to find the answer to my question. I want to ship via UPS only, using zones. The U.S. is made up of 7 zones broken down by zip codes. The charge for shipping will be a percentage of the total purchase based on the zone it is being shipped to. In other words shipping to zone 2 might be 5%, zone 3 would be 6%, etc. Is there any contribution or way to do this within osc already that I am not finding? Thanks Rick

Hi, I finally got this contribution installed but when I go to add the graduated pricing schedule and click on insert I get the following error: 1054 - Champ 'products_quantity_display_allowed' inconnu dans field list update products set products_quantity = '10000', products_quantity_display_allowed = '', products_model = 'LO', products_image = 'Array', products_price = '0.8800', products_date_available = null, products_weight = '0.00', products_status = '1', products_tax_class_id = '1', manufacturers_id = '', products_last_modified = now() where products_id = '265' [TEP STOP] If I am understanding this error correctly it can't update the 'products_quantity_display_allowed' field in the database. What I am confused about is that in the install instructions I can't find anyplace where I was supposed to add this field to the database. Does anyone have experience with this contribution that can tell me how I should proceed? ie., what table does this field go in, what size, default, etc. Thanks Rick

    Login Box w/enhancements error (locally)

    OK, I could not find this file anywhere and could not seem to get by ther error so I deleted everything and just reinstalled osc. The first thing I did was to try and add a user and I received the same error. Warning: Failed to Receive in e:easyphpwwwcatalogincludesclassesemail.php on line 502 Warning: Cannot add header information - headers already sent by (output started at e:easyphpwwwcatalogincludesclassesemail.php:502) in e:easyphpwwwcatalogincludesfunctionsgeneral.php on line 29 So I have to assume there is something else going on. Here is my local setup with version numbers: Database: MySQL 3.23.49-max-nt HTTP Server: Apache/1.3.24 (Win32) PHP/4.2.0 PHP Version: 4.2.0 (Zend: 1.2.0) Anyone have any ideas? Thanks, Rick

  12. Hi, I have installed both Linda's Login box and the enhancement by Randy Newman. My whole setup is being run locally. I don't want this to happen when I go live with the new shop. Any suggestions? Is this my mistake somewhere?   13. Hi, I like the idea of the image resize contribution. My question is this. As far as I can tell all the product need to be in one directory to work. I have approximately 3000 products and they are in separate directories according to model number (which the corresponding jpg matches). EXAMPLE: 10000-20000 21000-22000 22000-23000 Is is possible to use this contribution with numersous directories holding the original jpg's or must all jpg's be in one (in my case) very large directory?   14. Hi, I am using the members discount contribution based on Ian's original contrib. My question is this. Everything works perfect (with a couple of tweaks) but the tax shows up incorrectly on the checkout page. The figures are all correct so it must be using the correct tax but it is showing the incorrect tax. EXAMPLE: Sub-Total: $14.95 Customer Discount: $7.47 AZ TAX 8.1%: $1.21 (tax should show based on discounted amount not original amount. United Parcel Service (1 x 3lbs) (Ground): $7.29 Total: $15.37 (total amount is correct and must be using the correct discounted tax value) Can anyone tell me how to change this so that it shows correctly?     User Tracking - fatal error

    It was definitely not declared in that file. So I looked in several other files that I thought it might have been declared. I could not find it. So I tried just deleting the lines that were trying to "redeclare" that string. It appears to have worked. I move around the store with a couple of different accounts I created and it tracked everything and I had no errors showing up on the catalog pages. Thanks for your help. Rick
