  1. I installed the Sales Report 2 contribution and saw everything working in order, except the export function, when I selected CSV, the output I got was something like this in my browser: 11/01/2006;11/07/2006;;;$0.00;$0.00\n\r Now I'm not sure if it should indeed be like this, but I was expecting it to prompt me to download and save the file or open it with Excel. Even if I saved the web page as CSV, and opened it in Excel, all I got was the one-liner (instead of separated by columns, and what's more, the \n\r codes were showing up also. Can somebody tell me how should CSV file be used? My client needs this feature for her to view sales reports in Excel, so I need to get this work. Appreciate your help! Dean
  2. I think I found the answer myself. 0.1 = 10% of the item weight. Based on this clue, I looked through the config again and saw "Larger packages - percentage increase" was set to "10" -- although not sure what it means I changed it to zero and voila! Problem solved!
  3. I'm losing my hair with this! I have set the Package Tare weight to Zero, I'd even checked the MySQL table and confirm it is indeed zero, but when I tested check out, it still adds a small quantity of weight to the total order. I'm using the zones modules, originally I had the following setting: 3:25,6:35,9:45 When I purchased 1 item (all items were set to weight of 1), the shipping fee showed $25, which is correct. But as I increased the items to 3, the shipping fee jumped up to $35. After much testing, I realized if I changed the setting to: 3.3:25,6.6:35,9.9:45 only it would show $25 for 3 items, and so on. What I can gather here, for every item I put into the cart, 0.1 will be added to it. The question is: where did the 0.1 come from?!
  4. I'm assisting a client in setting up his online store using OSC, one of his requirements is to feature a Newsletter sign up form for non-customers to opt in to receive product updates and tips. Looking through the limited collections of contributions for this purpose, I figure this is probably the more promising one, but then again I looked through the threads of forum post on this contribution, I thought I saw more heartaches then joys, it makes me think twice if I should go ahead and do the modification since the mod looks rather heavy to me, I dont want to spend time and get trouble in the end. So I'm hoping someone here, who had successfully integrated this contribution to his OSC, are able to show me his/her site for me to see how it works (just frontend will do), I really need to very sure of this before I go ahead, or decide if I should just suggest the client to use one of the external newsletter sites. Appreciate your help in advance.
  5. Kodus to the author of this contribution. I got it set up in one go and works like charm, except one little problem: when I load the review page, I see the error message at the bottom, which I could not figure out what causes it. Can someone help up here? You can see the error here: http://perfect-clones.com/product_reviews_...9/reviews_id/27
  6. I searched through the forums and realized this feature is highly sought after. It's not surprising as not all products can be purchased as individual item, products that require custom configurations such as computer systems, or industrial products to be purchased in large quantity etc. But sadly, there isn't a contribution made for this purpose, which puzzles me. If anyone has successfully implemented Request for Quote feature in osC, be it by using any contribution or modification, appreciate if you can share the method. If there is already a solution, please point me to the right direction. Thanks in advance!
