  1. My store gives a 10% discount if 2 or more items are bought. However, if I want to use a coupon code for some advertising, I don't want the automatic 10% quantity discount to work as well thus giving 2 discounts. How do I do this? Is it as simple as updating the order total sort order? How would I make the discount coupon code take priority and no automatic 10% quantity discount given? I would be very grateful for any help or advice. Thank you!
  2. I have a client who has a store set up with 3 different customer groups - retail, trade and dropship. She now wants the following to apply ONLY to apply to the TRADE group. - payment made via Paypal to add 3% goods value onto order total - payment made via Secpay to deduct 3% goods value from order total - all ther payment types (cheque, trade credit) to remain 'normal'. How on earth would I go about this when both paypal and secpay are available to all customer groups? She also wants a selection of products to only be seen by the trade group (I have spied a contribution for this) - do you think this in addition will be a nightmare with the above? Any advice is very gratefully received! Thanks :)
  3. Thank you so much for that Jan. I have it working now and really appreciate your help! :D
  4. Thanks Jan. I see what you are saying and have found the relevant bit of code in the mod I installed but have no idea how to do what you suggest (not a coder :( ) Thanks for your help, I really appreciate it :)
  5. Thanks, that is what I have, sorry I didn't explain enough. I need something extra that will discount order total based on the quantity of products ordered by one customer group only.
  6. I want a discount of 10% to be calculated on an entire order when someone buys 2 or more products. I added the Discount Per Quantity sort order contribution (thanks!) and it works fine. However, I have 3 customer groups set up - retail, wholesale and dropship. I want the discount not to be applied for wholesale and dropship customers. Is it possible to put in some code to effectively 'hide' the quantity discount for those groups? Any help or advice would be very much appreciated! Thanks :)
  7. I just got this error too and it went through to Protx fine when I added a weight to the product.
  8. Hi, I'm looking for advice on how I should set this up. I have products that have standard UK shipping included in the price. I assume I'd need to use something similar to free shipping to offer 'standard uk shipping' = 0 as an option? I then want customers to have the option of selecting next day delivery. This will be set at ?5.95. I thought I might use somethin similar to flat rate for that option. Then..oh joy.. I want to be able to offer shipping to international customers. I'm unsure if it would be better to offer this as another flat rate option or to do it by weight. Can anyone suggest something for this international bit (would I need to use zones? I've never used them before) or am I completely barking up the wrong tree in my methods/thinking here? I would REALLY appreciate any help or advice Thanks!
