  1. What a long way to finding how to make this thing work. I depended on the instructions page, which says nothing about having to download a GeoIP.dat file. Perhaps that could be clarified. :) Now it works, and quite well. Anyway, I have one question about how to fix something that bugs me on this (excellent!) script. How can I make it wrap the IP address so that they don't cause me to have to scroll to the right on every page? It scrolls the search links, and leaves them functional. Why are all IP's at 100% instead of scrolled?
  2. Two days later, I'm still staring at an empty graph. My GeoIP.dat file is empty. Did I miss something? The SQL tables are there, every edit was done carefully, I see the controls in my Admin panel, there is a Visitors link, the stats page shows, but there are no stats. Why not?
  3. Amazing contrib, thank you. I was stymied on how to get it working until I read here about the GeoIP.dat file, or rather the need to rename rather than just upload the Add GeoIP.dat here.txt file. Once that was sorted out, it all started working. :)
  4. I am missing everything after Star Product on my Index page. The right column and footer are both missing. Can anyone point to what is wrong with my code? I get right column and footer on ALL other pages.
  5. I've experimented with my index.php file, thinking the problem might be in there, that maybe it was the placement of the Star Product call that was the problem. So I uploaded a standard index.php from the installation files. Well, there is no right column then, either. :/
  6. I have been looking over the differences and similarities between the star_product.php file and others, wondering what it is about this thing that makes everything after the Star Product disappear ONLY on my index.php page. All other pages have no problem, but of course no other page has the Star Product. Does anyone have an idea what is breaking php after the Star Product closes?
  7. I'm happy with the way Star Product works and how it looks, but how did I manage to lose my right column? How can I get it back? http://www.pencilartist.com/catalog/ (warning!...art nude photos... not safe for work!) I've also tried to strip away displaying the price, but can't seem to make that work.
  8. Ah, nevermind. I see my problem addressed in the latest posts.
  9. I have Star Product working fine. What I need to do is strip away the price display (as in "Hide Price if Less Than $0.00"). Where do I edit the files to stop showing a price? All my items have various prices as attributes, none of them are free. ;)
  10. kenfeyl, That mod looks very well done. I almost ordered a Backgammon set by accident. :) But does your mod really make Google Checkout the only form of payment available?
  11. If you're an eBay seller hoping this new service from Google will give you an option to PayPal, you need to read this story. eBay has banned Google Checkout.
  12. I've established my seller account. They are set up for a few commercial apps, but surprisingly not for osCommerce. Very much interested in the module, of course, as are so many others, when someone steps forward with it. The API data is here, of you are interested.

  14. I'm certainly looking forward to some REAL competition for PayPal. I'll keep an eye on this as it develops. Thanks!
  15. when Google unleashes their payment service, how soon can we hope to have a mod in place for offering it? Is anyone here currently beta-testing GBuy?
  16. I sell fine-art nude photos. PayPal allows collection for a portion of my work, but not for the more "adult" images. Because of this, I don't have any of those uncomfortable images in my store. However, I'm hoping there is a way I can offer them, perhaps with special attributes that prevent paying with PayPal. Is this feasible? Could it be arranged so that certain images have an attribute that will signal the PayPal module to not allow completing the transaction? In this way I could direct buyers toward using BidPay or some form of check, making it impossible to break the PayPal rule. I'm looking at the possibility, also, of having multiple stores (as outlined in the Multi-Stores mod). This may be my only option, but I'd like to know if anyone thinks my first wish can be fulfilled. What do you think? Thanks, Steve
  17. I've been trying to locate an answer to a simple (and possibly stupid!) question I have about this contrib, but I don't see it anywhere in this thread. I have edited and uploaded all the correct files, but I don't see any "SQL for Dummies" instructions on how to name and create the basic SQL database. I have a CP on my site to install new databases, but before I try something wrong, could someone simply dumb it down for me? What should it be named? Thanks! Steve
  18. I just installed it and set discounts for quantities of 10 and 20. I've added 10 items to my shopping cart, but I don't see any discount mentioned through checkout. Hmmmm...
  19. I think this contrib for Quantity Discount might be what you are looking for. I've not yet tried it, but it appears to be what I am also looking for.
  20. I have made all the edits and uploaded the correct files. Everything is in place but the SQL database. My sites CP has phpmyadmin, so I can create the database there. My problem is understanding exactly what to name it. The file is named Anti Robot Registration 2.1a_english.sql. Do I add underscores in the name? Do I just create a db using that exact name? If I create it, will the upload overwrite anything that is created? Never done this, so I'm needing a hand. Any guidance would be very much appreciated. Thanks! Steve
