1. Hi all I have installed the contribution DirectPOS/Paysolution/Sparkassen-Internetkasse-Payment and, wenn I click on "Install" in the admin panel I get following errors: Warning: mysql_free_result(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/xxxxxxxx/public_html/admin/includes/functions/database.php on line 119 Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/xxxxxxxx/public_html/admin/includes/functions/database.php:119) in /home/tandemsh/public_html/admin/includes/functions/general.php on line 85 The strange thing is that, when I go again to the Payment Modules and activate the module (and although the button "Install" remains there, as if I hadn't installed the module), if I click again on the "DirectPOS Base Module" I can see the configuration column on the right side, as if the module in fact had been installed :blink: I have filled all the fields there: Server URL, Server Login and Password, but when I try to buy a product in the shop I get always the same answer from the server: "The transaction could not be concluded." The PostBank sent me the username and password for the ControlCenter of DirectPOS and for the SSL (I've tried with both of them), but now I see in the DirectPOS ControlCenter that there's also a so called "Shop-Schnittstelle Password", that I didn't become (I have asked the Bank to send it to me, but still got no answer). Is it possibly the password I need? Anyway, and even if it is, I would like to solve the problem with the installation warnings, if someone can give me a hint :-) Thanks. I'm using osCommerce 2.2-MS2

RSS Feed contribution support thread

Well, homewetbar, I would understand your argument if we'd be talking about "articles" in a blog, or in a news site, but here we are dealing with products in a shop (I'm in an osCommerce forum, am I not?? :blink: ), and a very important sell argument for products is the price. A good price can decide if the customer clicks on a link or not... We are running a Language Courses shop, and would like to use the feed to show the products (courses) both in the main site of the organization and in each individual school's page. For us is very important to show the prices, precisely because in the shop we are offering reduced prices compared to the regular ones. Furthermore, you say "it does not display price by default". That implies that there must be a way to change that "default". And, as everybody can see, there are some code lines that seem to offer the possibility to include the price in the feed, echo ' <ecommerce:listPrice currency="' . DEFAULT_CURRENCY . '">' . $price . '</ecommerce:listPrice>' . "\n"; and even with the corresponding currency... The only thing I'd like to know is: How can I accomplish this? I have tried some changes, but nothing works, that's why I ask again. I'm convinced there must be a way, but I can not find it alone... I'd be thankful for any hint you can give me...

Again, I must insist with my question, specially with the "price" issue. Is there a way to show the price, with the corresponding default currency, in the feed? I wonder why nobody has an answer and, specially, why in all the examples I see of the feed I can never see the prices, although we are all dealing here with shops :blink: And this absence is even stranger since I can see in the code following lines, if($ecommerce!='') { echo ' <media:thumbnail url="' . $image_url . '">' . $image_url . '</media:thumbnail>' . "\n"; echo ' <ecommerce:SKU>' . $id . '</ecommerce:SKU>' . "\n"; echo ' <ecommerce:listPrice currency="' . DEFAULT_CURRENCY . '">' . $price . '</ecommerce:listPrice>' . "\n"; if ($offer) { echo ' <ecommerce:offerPrice currency="' . DEFAULT_CURRENCY . '">' . $offer . '</ecommerce:offerPrice>' . "\n"; } echo ' <ecommerce:manufacturer>' . $manufacturer . '</ecommerce:manufacturer>' . "\n"; } echo '</item>' . "\n"; } crearly referred to prices... Furthermore, what does really means the title of the contribution: "RSS feed with eCommerce, v1.22.2"? OsCommerce is an eCommerce system, and all the contributions and addons are somehow "with eCommerce"... Or is this special "eCommerce" some feature that I must first activate, in order to make the script work? I have read all possible information abot the installation of the contribution and still can find no answer... Can somebody help? That's really confusing :huh: Thanks!

Wonderful contrib, it really works! :thumbsup: But I have 2 issues: First, how can I enable the prices to show in the rss feed?. The second one is how to get per-category feeds. Can someone give me a hint about this?
5. I have installed the contribution Minimum Product Quantity with Admin but I need also to have a maximum of weeks for the products we sell (language courses). That's why I have tried to transform the contribution so that I can offer courses that can be booked for a time between e.g. 3 and 8 weeks. I have got, more or less, that the things work, but I have a problem. When I use following code in catalog/shopping_cart.php //Min_Max quantity code if(MAXIMUM_ORDERS == 'true'){ $max_order_query = tep_db_query("select p.maxorder as max_quant FROM " . TABLE_PRODUCTS . " p where p.products_id = '".$products[$i]['id']."'"); $min_order_query = tep_db_query("select p.minorder as min_quant FROM " . TABLE_PRODUCTS . " p where p.products_id = '".$products[$i]['id']."'"); while ($max_order = tep_db_fetch_array($max_order_query)) { if ($products[$i]['quantity'] > $max_order['max_quant'] ) { $products[$i]['max_quant']=$max_order['max_quant']; } } if ($products[$i]['quantity'] > $products[$i]['max_quant'] ) { $products[$i]['quantity']=$products[$i]['max_quant']; $cart->add_cart($products[$i]['id'],$products[$i]['quantity'],$products[$i]['attributes']); $cart_notice = sprintf(MAXIMUM_ORDER_NOTICE, $products[$i]["name"], $products[$i]["max_quant"],$products[$i]['attributes']); } while ($min_order = tep_db_fetch_array($min_order_query)) { if ($products[$i]['quantity'] < $min_order['min_quant'] ) { $products[$i]['min_quant']=$min_order['min_quant']; } } if ($products[$i]['quantity'] < $products[$i]['min_quant'] ) { $products[$i]['quantity']=$products[$i]['min_quant']; $cart->add_cart($products[$i]['id'],$products[$i]['quantity'],$products[$i]['attributes']); $cart_notice = sprintf(MINIMUM_ORDER_NOTICE, $products[$i]["name"], $products[$i]["min_quant"],$products[$i]['attributes']); } } //End Min_Max quantity code everything seems to work fine and I can put less than the minimum or more than the maximum weeks in the shopping cart, and the cart shows up the right quantity (min or max), but... when I leave the shopping_cart site in order to continue shopping and come back to her (cart contents), it falls ALWAYS to the minimum, the right quantity doesn't remains there. Can anyone of you see a solution for this problem? thanks :blush:
6. SORRY, forget the whole thread!!! I found the solution, I mean, THE REAL ONE, the other one was working only for products with discount, for the rest the price was always 0. It was just a problem with some code outside a "}" instead of inside it, in includes/classes/shopping_cart.php. GRRRR... Anyway... I have learned something, at least that I don't have to post "solutions" until I'm totally sure about them and I have checked them at least 100 times... :-" Sorry again, you can delete the thread if you want ...
7. Well, I have continued with my experiments and I have found a solution. I don't know if it's totally ok, but it's working for me. You can try it if you have one day the same problem: In includes/classes/order.php I changed this code: $this->products[$index] = array('qty' => $products[$i]['quantity'], 'name' => $products[$i]['name'], 'model' => $products[$i]['model'], 'tax' => tep_get_tax_rate($products[$i]['tax_class_id'], $tax_address['entry_country_id'], $tax_address['entry_zone_id']), 'tax_description' => tep_get_tax_description($products[$i]['tax_class_id'], $tax_address['entry_country_id'], $tax_address['entry_zone_id']), 'price' => $products[$i]['price'], 'final_price' => $products[$i]['price'] + $attributes_price, 'weight' => $products[$i]['weight'], 'id' => $products[$i]['id']); // END www.ocean-internet.de - Discount Plus into this: $this->products[$index] = array('qty' => $products[$i]['quantity'], 'name' => $products[$i]['name'], 'model' => $products[$i]['model'], 'tax' => tep_get_tax_rate($products[$i]['tax_class_id'], $tax_address['entry_country_id'], $tax_address['entry_zone_id']), 'tax_description' => tep_get_tax_description($products[$i]['tax_class_id'], $tax_address['entry_country_id'], $tax_address['entry_zone_id']), 'price' => $discountplus_data['value'], 'final_price' => $discountplus_data['value'] + $attributes_price, 'weight' => $products[$i]['weight'], 'id' => $products[$i]['id']); // END www.ocean-internet.de - Discount Plus As you see, I've changed just the 'price' and 'final_price' in the array. I think that problably it's going to work just with "valuetyp"= "endprice", and not with "price" or "percent", but I personally don't need this two options at this time. Anyway, if someone of you has a "more elegant" solution, it would be nice if you post it here. :blush:
8. I have installed Discount Plus: Discount Plus Contribution and thought everything was working fine, cause the price shown in shopping_cart.php was the right one. Now I have done a test buy and seen that in the checkout_confirmation.php the price shown is without the discount. I think the problem must be in order.php, but I have tried everything and I can't figure out where's the failure. I have also installed other contributions, all working fine: Master Products, Minimum Product Quantity, Minimum Order per Product, ... Could it be that they are not working well together with Discount plus? Has anyone had the same problem and found already a solution? Any suggestion will be welcome, thanks.
9. I have exactly the same problem, has someone a solution? :blink:
