    Lightview - javascript image viewer

Hi I have tried this over and over again thinking I was doing something wrong, but the furthest I get is when I click on the image, the lightbox opens and sits waiting and dims the background, but never loads an image. I have followed it to the letter. Is there something missing from the contrib files?

    AJAX Shopping Cart

I am testing this contribution on a new section I will open soon, but it does not display the Euro symbol correctly. I have updated to the most recent version tonight and still no change. By the way, this is in IE7. It shows fine in Firefox You can see it at http://www.thefonedoc.com/shop2 Just add something to cart and then once you are on the shopping_cart.php page the Euro symbol disappears? Any ideas anybody?

On The Fly Watermark Enhanced 1.1

I downloaded this today and after a few problems also, I finally figured out how to set it up correctly 1. Create a folder called watermark in your root (eg. public_html/watermark) 2. Open water.htaccess and insert your website address, so the file now reads "RewriteEngine on RewriteRule ^(.*)\.jpg http://www.***.com/watermark/image.php?%{REQUEST_FILENAME} " *** being YOUR OWN website address 3. Save the water.htaccess file 4. Upload image.php, noimg.png, watermark.png and watermark_s.php to the folder containg the images you want to mark (my example: www.***.com/catalog/images) 5. Upload water.htaccess to the new folder you created called watermark 6. Rename water.htaccess to .htaccess ENJOY :D Would be interested to hear feedback if that helps/doesnt help anybody with problems

    Seach Engine Friendly URL Support

Hi all I installed this contrib the other night and it seemed to be fine, but the following night I got an SMS from a guy who was trying to buy something on the site to say that he kept getting the cookie_usage.php page and no matter what he did with his pc, he still couldnt get in, so I went in and switched off the enable cookies and he tried again but it wouldnt work for him. I then spent yesterday trying to get it working and no matter what I did, it just wouldnt work for me, so I decided to uninstall it and followed the instructions in reverse. I thought I had everything done correctly, but now my site will not display at all and I have been up all night at it and I am now receiving emails to say customers cannot see my shop any longer???? The error message I get is Fatal error: Call to undefined function: read_cache() in /home/myname/public_html/catalog/includes/classes/url_rewrite.php on line 157 so I deleted the url_rewrite file as i wasnt sure if there was one there before and the new one edited it or it was just a new file Now I get Warning: main(includes/classes/url_rewrite.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/myname/public_html/catalog/includes/application_top.php on line 123 Warning: main(includes/classes/url_rewrite.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/myname/public_html/catalog/includes/application_top.php on line 123 Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required 'includes/classes/url_rewrite.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/myname/public_html/catalog/includes/application_top.php on line 123 Sorry if this is long and drawn out, but I have been up for about 28 hours now with no sleep and I am really at the stage where its all just becoming a blur to me Can anybody help me out please???

    Need free shipping on downloads

Thanks for the reply Robert I thought of that already, but the problem is that the tare is so close to the actual weight of some items, that if i drop it to zero, i make a 100gram item 200 grams which is fine, but if a customer buys 5 of them, they pay 1 kilogram shipping instead of half a kilogram.....or buy 10 makes 2kg instead of 1kg etc etc... (and the products are the type, where there is a high possibility of a customer ordering multiples) I thought maybe there was just a dead simple way which was there but i had not spotted, where you mark a download or similiar product as having absolutely NO shipping charge?

    Need free shipping on downloads

anybody? just like to get the shop up and running in the next day or so
  10. I have searched through the forums but cannot find a solution that will suit me. Most of the items in my shop are physical items with a weight. I also have 2 or 3 which are either downloads, or I email codes to a customer once I receive payment. I have these entered as zero weight, but there is still a delivery charge at the end. I assume this is because I have a tare weight. The only problem is, some of my goods are very light. My tare could be 100grams and the product is 70grams, so I cannot do away with the tare. Has anybody got any ideas for me please?

  13. Hi all I have spent days looking around here on the forum and also in my admin and I just cannot grasp how to setup the following I need to have 4 Zones Zone 1.....Home County(Ireland) Zone 2.....UK Zone 3.....Europe Zone 4.....Rest of World The above zones are based on the Irish postal service rates I need to confirm the prices are up to date, but, it will be something like this Shipping Rates Zone 1.... Ireland .25:4,.5:4.4,1:5.35,2:7.5 Zone 2 ...... UK .25:6,.5:7,1:9,2:11 Zone 3 ...... Europe .25:6,.5:7.5,1:11.50,1.5:16.5,2:16.5 Zone 4 ..... Rest of World .25:7,.5:8.5,1:13.5,2:20 Surely this cannot be that difficult to setup??? I think I have my home country one working ok, but I have no idea how to add extra zones and shipping rates All help would be greatly appreciated, as I would like to try and go live in the next week if possible. Thanks
  14. :D Go to Modules/Shipping and select table rate and edit Then you can enter your own details This can be done by weight or price Say for example you base your shipping on price Item cost up to ?5 Delivery ?1 Item cost up to ?20 Delivery ?3 Item cost up to ?50 Delivery ?5 Item cost up to ?200 Delivery ?10 Item cost over ?200 FREE You would enter: 5:1,20:3,50:5,200:10 Hope this helps
