  1. And do you have any ideas as to the payment processor with a wide coverage (something similar to ikobo)? I still use it for my personal needs, but unfortunately they don't provide merchant services now. Perhaps ikobo is going to focus on the online personal transactions and become the alternative to western union and provide services for those who work abroad or cooperate with overseas companies.
  2. And why don?t you want to use payment processor? If you don?t like or in some reason can?t use paypal, you can find decent alternatives without any problems.
  3. I guess that?s the reason I don?t like companies that charge set up and monthly fees. As if in some reason you don?t use their services, you won?t get your money back.
  4. Losing $849 with the company is really much  And why do they refuse to make a refund?
  5. I heard they used to plan something like that? well, if you talked to them then they could tell you for sure. Thanks for the updating ;)
  6. No, they use only English. As far as I know they are working on the translation, but I don?t know any time frames as to when the multilanguage is available.
  7. Actually I would say that ikobo is rather cheap (e.g. in comparison with worldpay, stormpay or 2checkout). And what about authorize.net? Isn?t it too expensive, as you?re charged by authorize.net (for the gateway) and in addition you must pay to the merchant account provider?

    Credit card Payment

Yes, I think that the above companies are very good for new merchants as their fees are rather low. In addition they cover many countries.

    Credit card Payment

You can take a look at 2checkout, moneybookers, paypal, ikobo; you can also find other payment processors if you check different forums. As to the above companies I think they are the most popular ones.
  10. I also heard some people were suggesting to use Nochex for the UK. However I never tried it myself. And as to worldpay, new customers are now charged ?200 setup fee (and not ?100) and ?360 a year ongoing (was ?160) + 4.5% transaction fee... As for me their fees are really too high
  11. You can check ikobo.com ? it can be used in nearly any country in the world (so I suppose the company covers Lebanon too) and it allows merchants to receive credit card payments at discount rates similar to PayPal's.
  12. I don?t know if I answered your question... I am also checking this company so hope we?ll help each other answering the questions. Please keep me posted about how you?re doing with ikobo.
  13. Just look at the reviews made by former customers of 2checkout - www.reviewcentre.com/review128337.html But at the same I heard a good feedback about this company. So I guess it?s just impossible to find something perfect. The more popular the company is the more bad reviews you can find about it. To my mind in most cases the customers make mistakes themselves (or don?t read company?s ?terms and conditions?) and then they just blame the company.
  14. You need to visit ikobo website and click on "sign up". Then enter your information and follow the set up process to customize your account and set up your "buy now" buttons. And I would also suggest you to read their manuals.
  15. As to the companies with a wide coverage, I think it?s worth mentioning also about ikobo and moneybookers ;)
  16. Frankly speaking I am not sure about it  You should send them an e-mail with your questions to get the right answers.

    Ikobo

Hello Mike, ikobo accepts only Visa and Master Card for now. As soon as you receive money in your account, ikobo will send you ikard. It is an ordinary Visa debit card and it can be used at any ATM machine. When you withdraw your money, it is converted to the desired currency at the daily Visa exchange rate. I suppose you check the rate on somewhere on Visa website. Hope I helped you a little ;)
  18. Personally I am interested in the wide coverage, that?s why I know about the above companies. But if I find other payment processors that suit your needs, I will post here ;) And as to the mentioned companies, as far as I know 2checkout and moneybookers allow you to accept payments in Euros and Pounds. And you will be able to withdraw money from your bank. Ikobo doesn?t allow you to transfer money to the bank account (this feature is available only if you?re in the USA). They send the customer Visa debit card and you will be able to use it to withdraw money from any ATM. All the transactions are processed and held in USD. But you can withdraw money in your local currency, as Visa will exchange the money withdrawn from US dollars to the currency dispensed by ATM.
  19. As you are looking for a company with a wide coverage then you can check 2checkout, ikobo and moneybookers, as for me they all look good. I guess ikobo has a larger coverage (from what I read the company covers 170 countries). But generally speaking they all have their cons and pros, so you need specify what features you are looking for.
  20. It seems like Authorize.net is only a gateway, in order to use it you have to sign up for a merchant account. Actually I am not sure that you can find what you're looking for but I can be mistaken, so correct me if I am wrong
  21. Thank you for your help, xiexie! ;) I also heard about ikobo live chat but never tried it myself (hope I won't need it). And did you have a chat with one of ikobo stuff? How did you like it?
  22. And can you also tell us about its coverage? Personally I am interested in covering Europe.
  23. And what if I lose that card? What will I need to do to get the new one and how much will I be charged for it?
  24. Actually I am also interested in it as I am thinking about opening the online store. If I am not mistaken the customer can transfer money to his bank account only if he is from USA. And what about other countries? How can the customers get their money?
