  1. I have logged into my PayPal account and see that my public certificate is indicating expired. So, I will generate and install the new certificate and see if that clears this problem.
  2. When checking out from my site the only option I provide is PayPal. This used to work fine. Now, when you get to the end of an order and click the confirm order button, you get sent to: https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr and get an error: The certificate has expired. Please use a valid certificate. ---------------- The url bar of IE is green, the certificate is shown as verified by Versign as PayPal. I installed the Versign PayPal certificate to my browser. No help. Any ideas what I need to do? I have neglected my osC site for a while and now trying to get back up to speed. Thanks,

  4. If you are using PayPal installl the following: osCommerce PayPal IPN Module v1.0 For 2.2MS2 http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,2679 The support topic is here: http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/index.php?sho...c=124298&hl=ipn
  5. The osC PayPal IPN module is designed to work this way to correct the non-ipn module's lack of saving order data until it was complete at payPal, which would result in no record of an attempted order if something went wrong at Paypal. You just need to delete orders that are a few days old and have no couterpart at PayPal. You might do better discussing this in the support topis: http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/index.php?sho...c=124298&hl=ipn
  6. You might want to consider replacing that original PayPal module with this: osCommerce PayPal IPN Module v1.0 For 2.2MS2 http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,2679

    PayPal died

Sounds like your customers are not clicking the "Return toi Merchant" button at Paypal. The IPN module voercomes this problem by saving the cart as the oder is confirmed and being transfered to PayPal. osCommerce PayPal IPN Module v1.0 For 2.2MS2 http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,2679
  11. I believe this is one of the problems corrected by installing the osC PayPal IPN module: osCommerce PayPal IPN Module v1.0 For 2.2MS2 http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,2679
  12. In many tests I have done I have never seen the shipping address sent to Paypal by the osc PayPal IPN module. I always get the "no shipping address" on the PayPal page. I have no idea why it is appraently working for some and not working for others.

  14. If your account with Paypal is setup as a Merchant account, and you have selected at PayPal to offer this option to your customers, and your customer is in U.S. they can pay through PayPal with a credit card and will not have to have a PayPal account.
