    ULTIMATE Seo Urls 5 - by FWR Media

    Well, almost fine: Do you have an idea what this error would be? It shows up in the Seo Uris 5 admin: Warning: call_user_func(tep_reset_cache_data_seo_urls) [function.call-user-func]: First argument is expected to be a valid callback in /home6/alphacle/public_html/clearadultacne/park/includes/functions/general.php on line 1500 Thanks!

    ULTIMATE Seo Urls 5 - by FWR Media

    Thanks, that worked just fine. What had happened is that I copied the website and database from another site with the Ultimate Seo already installed. So when I ran the installer.php on the new site it gave a message that one of the tables it was trying to install was already installed. When I went to my database and dropped usu_cache, the installer was then able to run to completion and install the missing link in admin.

    ULTIMATE Seo Urls 5 - by FWR Media

    I have this successfully installed on several sites. However, the last time I installed this mod, I find I do not have a link to configure the mod. Specifically in admin-> configuration ->, there is no link to 'Seo Uris 5' like I have on the other sites. I have gone backwards and forwards through the installation and just don't see where that link is added. What have I missed? Thanks!
  8. I see that there are some nice contributions for category drop-down or fly-out menu that display the categories and subcategories, as does the stock installed categories box. But is there a contribution for a navigation menu that drills down past the category or subcategory level to display individual products?

    This is the same spot from my includes/application_top.php $stylesheet='<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="templates/'.$template_name.'/stylesheet.css"> <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="templates/'.$template_name.'/superfish.css"> <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="templates/'.$template_name.'/superfish-navbar.css" /> <script type="text/javascript" src="includes/javascript/jquery.js"></script> <script type="text/javascript" src="includes/javascript/cart-toggle.js"></script> <script type="text/javascript" src="includes/javascript/top-navbar.js"></script> <script type="text/javascript" src="includes/javascript/superfish.js"></script> '; Note you can stack references to all the stylesheets and javascript files you want. Just watch the php punctionation.

    Yes, now you have it: This is what I see in your index.php <base href="http://www.simplyscent.co.uk/"> <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="templates/original/stylesheet.css"> Note you are correctly pulling the stylesheet from the templates/original folder.

    Actually if you just recopy the catalog pages (catalog pages only - not the admin or pages in the includes folder) from the OSC to CSS contribution download, you be set and all will work. If you don't do that you have to go back and to the catalog pages you added: <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="stylesheet.css"> to, re-replace with: <?php echo $stylesheet; ?> which is how it is originally in the OSC to CSS contribution.

    You still have <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="stylesheet.css"> showing up when I view the source code of your website. Be sure that in the header of index.php, in fact in all pages, that you have this in your header: <?php echo $stylesheet; ?> and not <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="stylesheet.css"> . In other words make sure that the stylesheet is not hardcoded in the header as it normally is in OSCommerce. Upthread Germ suggested that you: 'Yes you have to add the link to the stylesheet to all the main PHP files.' Good advice and correct, if you are using regular OSCommerce, but If you did that, if you have gone back and added: <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="stylesheet.css"> to all the pages then the template system will not work.

    In application_top.php do you have?: $stylesheet='<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="stylesheet.css">'; If you do, for the templates to work you need to go back and do step 2, the whole step, on the one folder template instruction, ie this: Step 2: Open includes/application_top.php find: // set the application parameters $configuration_query = tep_db_query('select configuration_key as cfgKey, configuration_value as cfgValue from ' . TABLE_CONFIGURATION); while ($configuration = tep_db_fetch_array($configuration_query)) { define($configuration['cfgKey'], $configuration['cfgValue']); } just beneath add: //START TEMPLATES $template_query = tep_db_query("select configuration_title from " . TABLE_CONFIGURATION . " where configuration_description ='template'"); $template_value = tep_db_fetch_array($template_query); $template_name = $template_value['configuration_title']; define('DIR_WS_TIMAGES', 'templates/'.$template_name.'/template_images/'); define('DIR_WS_BUTTONS', 'templates/'.$template_name.'/buttons/'); define('DIR_WS_PLUGINS', 'templates/'.$template_name.'/plugins/'); //END TEMPLATES -------------------------------------- find: $stylesheet='<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="stylesheet.css">'; change to: $stylesheet='<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="templates/'.$template_name.'/stylesheet.css">';

    Hi At your website, simplyscent.co.uk I see that you have this in the header: <base href="http://www.simplyscent.co.uk/"> <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="stylesheet.css"> This is the original stylesheet. You should have this: <base href="http://www.simplyscent.co.uk/"> <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="templates/apple/stylesheet.css"> where 'apple' is the name of the template chosen. If you chose in the admin 'original' you would have: <base href="http://www.simplyscent.co.uk/"> <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="templates/original/stylesheet.css">

    PS, There are two reasons it is not working. 1) You are still connected to the original stylesheet, once you fix your other issue, you will be halfway to fixing this one Getting the stylesheet call fixed in includes/application_top.php will allow you to easily install multiple stylesheets per template. (The horizontal menu uses it's own stylesheet, superfish.css) 2) you need to add the bit of javascript for the superfish.css menu to includes/template_top.php lke this:. open includes/template_top.php just above the closing </head> tag add: <script type="text/javascript"> $(document).ready(function(){ $("ul.sf-menu").superfish(); }); </script>

    You are still connected to the original stylesheet but It looks like you have everything else installed correctly. Redo step 2 in the instructions and that should fix it. (Since you are getting the template buttons and images correctly, it is probably just that you missed the stylesheet part, or second part below , of step 2): Step 2: Open includes/application_top.php find: // set the application parameters $configuration_query = tep_db_query('select configuration_key as cfgKey, configuration_value as cfgValue from ' . TABLE_CONFIGURATION); while ($configuration = tep_db_fetch_array($configuration_query)) { define($configuration['cfgKey'], $configuration['cfgValue']); } just beneath add: //START TEMPLATES $template_query = tep_db_query("select configuration_title from " . TABLE_CONFIGURATION . " where configuration_description ='template'"); $template_value = tep_db_fetch_array($template_query); $template_name = $template_value['configuration_title']; define('DIR_WS_TIMAGES', 'templates/'.$template_name.'/template_images/'); define('DIR_WS_BUTTONS', 'templates/'.$template_name.'/buttons/'); define('DIR_WS_PLUGINS', 'templates/'.$template_name.'/plugins/'); //END TEMPLATES -------------------------------------- find: $stylesheet='<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="stylesheet.css">'; change to: $stylesheet='<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="templates/'.$template_name.'/stylesheet.css">';

    If you install the template module, look at this: http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/7406 This gives you a nice horizontal menu across the top. If you get menu installed, replace the superfish.css file with the original superfish.css or add superfish-navbar.css option from the superfish site referenced in the contribution, you'll get a nice clean horizontal menu that may be easier to style.

    A couple of things that may help: 1) in your includes/language/english.php file you should see: // categories box text in includes/boxes/categories.php define('BOX_HEADING_CATEGORIES', '<span class="categories">Categories'); Note the span tag. That will add the rounded corners on the top boxes. Each infobox should have this. They should added to the other languages as well. 2) Note that at the bottom of your infoboxes, or between them, you have this html: </div><tr><td><img src="images/pixel_trans.gif" class="" border="0" alt="" width="100%" height="4"></td></tr><!--bof currencies //--> That may be what is breaking your bottom two boxes on the right side.

  20. Here is another solution to the text in the search infobox. in includes/boxes/search.php find: 'text' => '<span class="leftfloat">'.tep_draw_input_field('keywords', '', 'size="10" maxlength="30" style="width: ' . (BOX_WIDTH-30) . 'px"') . '</span><span class="leftfloat">' . tep_hide_session_id() . tep_draw_separator('pixel_trans.gif', '20', '10').tep_image_submit('button_quick_find.gif', BOX_HEADING_SEARCH) . '</span><div class="divider-short"></div>' . BOX_SEARCH_TEXT . '<br/><br/><a href="' . tep_href_link(FILENAME_ADVANCED_SEARCH) . '">' . BOX_SEARCH_ADVANCED_SEARCH . '</a> add a <div class="divider"></div> to the end so it looks like this: 'text' => '<span class="leftfloat">'.tep_draw_input_field('keywords', '', 'size="10" maxlength="30" style="width: ' . (BOX_WIDTH-30) . 'px"') . '</span><span class="leftfloat">' . tep_hide_session_id() . tep_draw_separator('pixel_trans.gif', '20', '10').tep_image_submit('button_quick_find.gif', BOX_HEADING_SEARCH) . '</span><div class="divider-short"></div>' . BOX_SEARCH_TEXT . '<br/><br/><a href="' . tep_href_link(FILENAME_ADVANCED_SEARCH) . '">' . BOX_SEARCH_ADVANCED_SEARCH . '</a><div class="divider"></div>'); The class divider has the css property of clearing floats left and right.
  21. Yes, I would love a link to the stylesheet. I would like to see how it improves the design.
  22. Man, do you have persistence! These links below may help writting a conditional statement within the stylesheet now that you know where the issue is. Here a few links. Useful: http://www.positioniseverything.net/articles/cc-plus.html Not as good: http://css-tricks.com/how-to-create-an-ie-only-stylesheet/ That first link looks like there may be something that can used within one stylesheet. Using two stylesheets would be a pain.
  23. no, I could get to the product page, but I could the links to the shopping cart and checkout returned errors, as did the link to the account page.
  24. Would you be willing to provide a link to your project? I could never get past the product pages at justgrow.com, just bad links, and I would love to see this in action.
  25. Do you have Joomla & Oscommerce in the same database?
