    USPS not added to total

The USPS calculations to total are wrong. Once you select the preferred amount other than express you go to the next page and it does not show up on the total. Pay pal is the only gateway. Anybody have any idea as to how to fix this?

which payment gateway shall I choose

Authorize.net is a real gateway that attaches to a merchant account. Most my online merchants that shop with my firm for this end up at a better rate due to the nature of my areana... If you want you can call or go toDTCand click contact us and I will respond in a timely manner.... i really don't mind helping out a fellow webmaster in this area-

which payment gateway shall I choose

Yes the I Kobo really is good to. Most of my customers that need the a gateway really like authorize.net and it's features. One thing that is left out of this post is the merchant account. Not all merchant accounts work with authorize.net and this making it a more secure transaction process because they will not just accept any bank that wants to use them. In most cases you can get authorize.net for a reasonable price. HINT: Be careful of the companies that are to ?cheap? on set up, monthly gateway charge, and transaction fee. You get what you pay for.

    Accepting credit cards-- advice?

Hi Jenny feet, The merchant account process is very hard to explain, if you wish you can call me at 951-767-3070 I am in the USA. California. Leave me a message if I don?t pick up right away ok. It is around the holidays and things are wild around here?=) Anyway here is how it works, Your client's website receives the transaction details from your cart. It is sent to a issuing bank, that verifies the transaction amount, and source, then.... after around somewhere between 24-48 hrs later, the money is deposited into the merchants bank account by the issuing bank.... This might give you more detailMy Webpage

Q: Merchant acct / Payment gateway costs

Hey all, You have legitimate questions. I can help- call me at 951-767-3070 Mon-Fri 8-5-PST 1. B careful of people who don't charge you up front for authorize.net, they have to pay up front, just like everyone else does. I have been providing authorize.net for a number of years now to my clients, and know this for a fact-There is a catch some where- I am not saying any of them are bad, but be careful ok. 2. Yes, 2.19% is the discount rate that comes out of the transaction. 3. You will also have a transaction fee on top of your discount rate %?s that was took out before- so let?s run through the numbers: $100 sale.. 2.19 % discount rate=$2.19 out of the transaction- Then .25 cents per transaction- that is $2.44 total deduction. Also, you will have to worry about mid and non qualified rates if the transaction does not have address verification included. 4. Then, on my site: + osC takes the credit card info and sends it to Authorize.net + Authorize.net sends back approve/deny. + Upon approval, Authorize.net approves the transfer of $ to the merchant account. + The merchant account deposits the $ into my checking account. The above is correct! Any questions call me I don't mind- I am in USA. Pacific time-951-767-3070 I hope this helped.. my website

    Merchant Account Recommendations?

Sure- Merchant accounts can help your business eliminate the confusion for your customer. Being in the merchant account business for over three years now I can tell you that it is by far the best thing you can do for your business. it helps you accept payment quicker. I use a leading merchant account provider for my clients and they are good. I never had a complaint and their prices are good to. But due to forum rules I cannot give there name. I really love this forum and do not want to get banned. Any way, most people sign up through my website but if you want to give me a ring I can walk you right through the steps. And even help you sign up. I do it anyway, all day for my clients, so It would not be a problem to shoot a fellow oscommerce pal a tip here and there=_ SeeDTC
