    Seach Engine Friendly URL Support

If you have modified header_tags.php, please also check whether you input a header tag for the product. If not , the header will show the category. I made such mistakes before.

    Seach Engine Friendly URL Support

I tried this MOD on a totally new OSC and still got the "Link error" problem on product- review pages and add-to-cart pages. At the bottom of product- review and add- to- cart page, it says : " Error! Unable to determine the page link! " Besides this small bug, everything works good. I think it may have sth. to do with the apache server config. Could you pls. tell me the exact httpd.conf configuration to support this MOD?

    Seach Engine Friendly URL Support

RikP, I still can't solve my bug. When I click "add to cart" , the relative product will be added to "Cart Contents", but there is an error in the page foot. It seems that it can't find foot.php. But if I click back to "catalog" and click on "Cart Contents" again, everything will be ok. The same problem occurs when I visiting "product reviews". Is it possible that the rewrite rules cause some pages can't find /includes/footer.php? Pls be so kind to help. You can review my site here: http://www.ourchinaseasons.com Sorry for my site's connection speed because I am currently hosting in China and will switch to other places soon.

I've solve the header tag problem using RikP' s method. For the "review" and "add to cart" problem , more info: The converted URL is like this: http://www.mysite.com/product_reviews.php/products_id/118 instead of : http://www.mysite.com/product_reviews/products_id/118 The title will be : Top ? Catalog ? Hardware products and accessories ? ? Reviews There is an unexpected ">>" At the bottom of the page , it says: Error! Unable to determine the page link! Seems that the page can't find footer.php because footer is not displayed.

Yes, it should be caused by the merge of index.php and product_info.php. I'll try your method. Thanks :) For the first error, it seems that the page can't find footer.php. I'll check it again.

2 more problems: 1. When I use "review" or "add to cart", there will be some error message in the bottom of the page saying "Error! Unable to determine the page link! ". However, "review" and "add to cart" functions do work. 2. I also installed HEARDER_TAG_CONTROLLER mod before I install this MOD. I found that the header tag for catogory worked fine , but the product page didn't work properly. For example, I have a category named " Hardware products" and inside it a product named "HP printer". When I click the " Hardware products" page, the title is " Hardware products- mysite" . When I enter the product page, the title should be like this: " HP printer - mysite", but now ,it is still "Hardware products-mysite". Pls. help

I also tried MOD sef_link_transformer_0.8.0. It works and successfully converts all the pages to html. However, as I integrated phpBB forum with my OSC, it failed to change the link www.mysite.com/phpbb/index.php. The changed link is like this :www.mysite.com//phpbbindex.php :'(

Finally I made this MOD work on my website. But still one problem, the popup image can't work. The java script is just like this : java script:popupWindow('http://mysite.com/popup_image.php/pID/31') . BTW, I also installed Automatic_Thumbnail MOD to create small images on the page. Could you pls. help? Thanks

My server info: Apache/1.3.28 (Unix) mod_throttle/3.1.2 mod_ssl/2.8.15 OpenSSL/0.9.6b  I can't understand the .htaccess file. When I upload this file to my /catalog directory, I can't even visit my site. It says "Internal server error". So I removed this file.

I noticed that in my admin page, it says "Use search engine friendly URL : still in development". Could this be the reason?

    Need PHPbb contrib help

Seems that the system can't find some file defining class sql_db Try to put the following code in db.php: For example , if you use mysql, add $dbms='mysql'; BTW, I tried a lot of time to install the phpbbMOD, and found that this MOD can't work well with the admin access MOD. So now I use another version modified by oldpa. You can download it here: http://www.oldpa.com.tw/modules/mydownload...wcat.php?cid=19 It works perfectly! You can visit my website to see it: http://www.ourchinaseasons.com
  14. I followed the install steps carefully and checked each file. I re-installed it serveral times but met the same problem. One thing confuses me : the OSC language directory name is "english" while in phpBB it is called "lang_english". Accroding to the install guide, they must be same. Could this be the reason of problem? I don't know how to modify it. Pls. kindly help
  15. I installed a clear OSC ms2 then tried to install the phpBB 2.08 MOD. I met the following problems: 1. If I install the admin access MOD first and then install the phpBB MOD, when I tried to connect to http://localhost/catalog/admin/bb_default.php. Access denied. I was redirected to the admin login page. After login , I still couldn't access the phpBB admin page. 2. If I install phpBB MOD on a clear OSC without admin access control, it works. I can configure phpBB with bb_default.php page. When I login on the OSC main page and link to the forum, it shows that a forum user is created using the current user's english name. But when I tried to open some forums or add some new posts, it shows anonymous login   What's more, It seems that it didn't create a real phpBB admin accout. 3. Another thing makes me quite confusing is that in the phpBB MOD installation file, I was told that " language directory names should be the same as OSC ". I don't know how to do it. Now in my OSC, language directories are called "english", while in the phpBB, it's "lang_english". Please help me . Thanks a lot
