  1. I know I've seen this issue in the forums somewhere, but I can't for the life of me find it! I've searched using the search feature, and on Google using site: and still no luck. It's a problem with how Google (and other search engines?) index and cache the page. It gives this error: This seems to be happening to many sites, search Google and a whole bunch come up with this error (with their own filepaths, of course). Here's the Google cache of the site currently having the problem. The pages look fine to customers (except they may need to refresh once sometimes), but search engines get thsi error. I know a fix for this issue exists, because when I first installed Ultimate SEO URLs I ran into the problem on my own site and found the solution and fixed it. Now I run into the same issue when installing this contrib for a friend, and I can't find it anywhere! Can anyone please point me in the right direction?
  2. I'm having trouble keeping my links ordered the way I want. I want them ordered by id descending, and it works great for 10 or fewer links, but the "Next" and "Prev" button (for when there's more than 10 links) switch the sort order to sorting by title, acsending. I don't know where to edit this "sort=2a" that the next/prev buttons are adding to the URL. Any help would be appreciated!

    How Did You Hear About Us - Support

    I just downloaded this updated version (as I don't have a vanilla install), and I haven't installed it yet, but it looks really handy! Just wanted to say that I couldn't find the .sql file included with that download, so I had to download the Dec 16th version in order to get the sql file. Not particularly important, but might be confusing for new users if they can't find the sql file to update the database. ^_^ (unless I'm just blind and the sql file is burried somewhere in the Feb 14th update, in which case you can just ignore me :blush: )
  4. Darn it, it stopped working after I added more than 5 links, so there's got to be more than that, sorry. :(
  5. Nevermind! I figured it out! Here is is, for anyone else who wants it: in links.php find: // show the links in a given category // We show them all $listing_sql = "select " . $select_column_list . " l.links_id from " . TABLE_LINKS_DESCRIPTION . " ld, " . TABLE_LINKS . " l, " . TABLE_LINKS_TO_LINK_CATEGORIES . " l2lc where l.links_status = '2' and l.links_id = l2lc.links_id and ld.links_id = l2lc.links_id and ld.language_id = '" . (int)$languages_id . "' and l2lc.link_categories_id = '" . (int)$current_category_id . "'"; if ( (!isset($HTTP_GET_VARS['sort'])) || (!ereg('[1-8][ad]', $HTTP_GET_VARS['sort'])) || (substr($HTTP_GET_VARS['sort'], 0, 1) > sizeof($column_list)) ) { for ($i=0, $n=sizeof($column_list); $i<$n; $i++) { if ($column_list[$i] == 'LINK_LIST_TITLE') { $HTTP_GET_VARS['sort'] = $i+1 . 'a'; $listing_sql .= " order by ld.links_title"; break; } } } else { $sort_col = substr($HTTP_GET_VARS['sort'], 0 , 1); $sort_order = substr($HTTP_GET_VARS['sort'], 1); $listing_sql .= ' order by '; switch ($column_list[$sort_col-1]) { case 'LINK_LIST_TITLE': $listing_sql .= "ld.links_title " . ($sort_order == 'd' ? 'desc' : ''); break; case 'LINK_LIST_URL': $listing_sql .= "l.links_url " . ($sort_order == 'd' ? 'desc' : '') . ", ld.links_title"; break; case 'LINK_LIST_IMAGE': $listing_sql .= "ld.links_title"; break; case 'LINK_LIST_DESCRIPTION': $listing_sql .= "ld.links_description " . ($sort_order == 'd' ? 'desc' : '') . ", ld.links_title"; break; case 'LINK_LIST_COUNT': $listing_sql .= "l.links_clicked " . ($sort_order == 'd' ? 'desc' : '') . ", ld.links_title"; break; } } ?> change $listing_sql .= " order by ld.links_title"; to $listing_sql .= " order by ld.links_id"; Then change ($sort_order == 'd' to ($sort_order == 'a' (if you want it sorted ascending) then under LINK_LIST_URL, LINK_LIST_DESCRIPTION, and LINK_LIST_COUNT, change the end ld.links_title"; to ld.links_id"; So your finished product should look like this: // show the links in a given category // We show them all $listing_sql = "select " . $select_column_list . " l.links_id from " . TABLE_LINKS_DESCRIPTION . " ld, " . TABLE_LINKS . " l, " . TABLE_LINKS_TO_LINK_CATEGORIES . " l2lc where l.links_status = '2' and l.links_id = l2lc.links_id and ld.links_id = l2lc.links_id and ld.language_id = '" . (int)$languages_id . "' and l2lc.link_categories_id = '" . (int)$current_category_id . "'"; if ( (!isset($HTTP_GET_VARS['sort'])) || (!ereg('[1-8][ad]', $HTTP_GET_VARS['sort'])) || (substr($HTTP_GET_VARS['sort'], 0, 1) > sizeof($column_list)) ) { for ($i=0, $n=sizeof($column_list); $i<$n; $i++) { if ($column_list[$i] == 'LINK_LIST_TITLE') { $HTTP_GET_VARS['sort'] = $i+1 . 'a'; $listing_sql .= " order by ld.links_id"; break; } } } else { $sort_col = substr($HTTP_GET_VARS['sort'], 0 , 1); $sort_order = substr($HTTP_GET_VARS['sort'], 1); $listing_sql .= ' order by '; switch ($column_list[$sort_col-1]) { case 'LINK_LIST_TITLE': $listing_sql .= "ld.links_title " . ($sort_order == 'a' ? 'desc' : ''); break; case 'LINK_LIST_URL': $listing_sql .= "l.links_url " . ($sort_order == 'a' ? 'desc' : '') . ", ld.links_id"; break; case 'LINK_LIST_IMAGE': $listing_sql .= "ld.links_title"; break; case 'LINK_LIST_DESCRIPTION': $listing_sql .= "ld.links_description " . ($sort_order == 'a' ? 'desc' : '') . ", ld.links_id"; break; case 'LINK_LIST_COUNT': $listing_sql .= "l.links_clicked " . ($sort_order == 'a' ? 'desc' : '') . ", ld.links_id"; break; } } ?> Don't know if that's the best way, but it works for me! ^_^
  6. I just went to your site, and all your links are now sorted by link ID! Can you let us know how you did that, please! ^_^

    Coppermine Contribution

    Yes, yes it does. But again, I thought that .zip file was way too large to just contain the oscommerce files, and thus not a wise thing to download. I didn't think s/he'd include all the coppermine files too, when they are available at the coppermine site.

    Coppermine Contribution

    Ah, see, I'd figured that was just an old version of coppermine. I didn't think the oscommerce files would be burried in there too.
  9. I'm trying to install the Coppermine contribution, but I think the download is missing some files! The instructions say to "Upload or unzip the files to their designated locations.", but there are not any files included in the download except the READ ME file that tells you to do this. Does anyone have the coppermine contrib files, or knows where to get them? Thanks!

    Wishlist 2.0 Support Thread

    Can you maybe post the file here, so everyone can benefit from it? I'm having that problem right now, the email just says with no wishlist items or anything.

    BTSv1.2 Support

    Does anyone have a link to a working BTS tutorial? There was one linked to a while back, but it is no longer online. The "BTS forums" someone mentioned [here] seem to be about something called Zen Cart. I couldn't find anything about BTS on those forums anyway. I've found a few free BTS templates online, and I've figured out how to swap between them, but I want to be able to create a unique site design myself, not using a pre-made template. STS I understood, and could use. I switched from STS to BTS because I was having a few problems getting other contributions installed, and now I have the opposite problem: everything works, but I don't really understand BTS. :'( Is there a tutorial somewhere that shows step-by-step how to create new layouts using BTS? Thanks! ^_^
  12. Well, now I'm caught up with everyone else. I installed the Oct 19th version two more times, and on the last time it worked! So yay ^_^ Now I'm where everyone else is, when a user votes, this error comes up: Fatal error: Cannot redeclare tep_db_connect() (previously declared in /home/taipa/public_html/testshop/includes/functions/database.php:13) in /home/taipa/public_html/testshop/includes/functions/database.php on line 13 But as you said, the error only happen sometimes. I hit the Back button on my browser and tried to vote again, and it worked perfectly that time. I will keep my eyes on this thread in case a solution is found. ^_^
  13. you will have to find the second entry and delete it. It cannot be declaired twice my new version fixes this problem: http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,20 this also has a fix for the security problem if any one find's other bug's would be interested in hearing about it. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I just installed the latest version (the Oct 19 update)), and I still get this error. Is there something else I need to change/do?
  14. ... nevermind, I must have had a brainfart. Nevermind! ^_^
