    [CONTRIBUTION] Nochex APC Payment Module

Can't offer any help as I've exactly the same situation going on in a shop I've recently configured for a friend. This is the second store I've done though, and the first one has been working fine to the best of my knowledge. Jax

I didn't make any changes to the url. I'll be re testing on a new install later this week - I'll let you know how it goes then. Jax

I'm using it in the UK, and as Pete says, I've just set the currency to GBP. Not aware of any problems with it. Jax

Thanks to both of you for clarifying that so swiftly! I've got v3.0 downloaded and installing it directly. :) Jax

Not altogether sure Jon, but I think you could be asking in the wrong place - you've said that you have installed the contrib that's build and maintained by the oscommerce team, and I think this thread is aimed at supporting the PayPal_Shopping_Cart_IPN version. And no, I'm afraid I've no idea where the right place is. :( Anyways, on the topic of this contribution, I'm a little confused by the version info that on the download page - I installed v2.8 a little while back when it was the most recent version, and now I can't make head or tail of the versioning - there's reference to a v3.0 zip that doesn't seem to be there? Can anyone point me in the right direction of the most up to date version, as I've got another install to do. Thanks Jax

This sounds similar to what was happening when I was using the paypal sandbox - is this with the sandbox or live? You could try using the ipn txt to see what is going on - there are instructions a bit further up the thread as to how to do it. hth Jax
  7. Well, you asked for it  This is the section of catalog/checkout_success.php where pwa and paypal ipn meet up. This particular configuration of it seems to work OK: if (strlen($notify_string) > 0) $notify_string = substr($notify_string, 0, -1); // PWA Added a check for a Guest checkout and cleared the session - 030411 if (tep_session_is_registered('noaccount')) { tep_session_destroy(); tep_redirect(tep_href_link(FILENAME_DEFAULT, '', 'NONSSL')); } else { //end of pwa addition //begin PayPal_Shopping_Cart_IPN tep_redirect(tep_href_link(FILENAME_DEFAULT, $notify_string)); } } else if ((isset($HTTP_GET_VARS['action']) && $HTTP_GET_VARS['action'] == 'success')) { PayPal_osC::reset_checkout_cart_session(); } //end PayPal_Shopping_Cart_IPN //} My personal bugbear is QTPro, but there you go. Feels very house of cards ish though to me as I put each new contribution on there... very new to me though this - first time I've worked with open source stuff. Fun is one word I've used  Jax
  8. I found another typo in the install instructions - change to the file admin/orders.php include if ($pwa_check['purchased_without_account'] != '1'){ $email = STOR_NAME . where STOR_NAME should read STORE_NAME I got winmerge - thanks for the tip on that one. I've got paypal ipn as well as nochex apc, and all three make changes in the checkout_success file, but I got it to hang together in the end. Is that the kind of thing that other ppl might be interested in? Hm, I'm very much an osc newbie, so trying to be a little tactful here, but I've now installed 5 contributions, 4 successfully (1 I've had to roll back and give up on for the mo) and each one of them has taken a different approach to how to do it. Hohum, makes for an interesting evening or two ;) thanks, but turned out I didn't need it in the end. Thanks for your work on this. Jax
  9. Hi all I've read through large portions of this thread, and I'm preparing to install this contribution on osc MS2 that already has nochex apc and paypal IPN 2.8 installed. I'm a little confused by the instructions and I wonder if anyone could clarify for me the successful approach - the instructions say Then all of those files are supplied in the package, presumably for upload, but 5 of them later in the instructions then have line changes to be made manually. Just wondered if anyone can clarify whether all the nine files need to be uploaded, or what they've done that has worked. Thanks Jax

And also when I do it for real, with paypal rather than the sandbox. *How* long have I spent testing, and fiddling about? Hohum. Jax

Thanks for the prompt response! The IP does indeed belong to ebay, so that's one thing sorted. Followed your suggestions to have a look at the debug output, and if the transaction id is txn_id then I'd guess that's the problem, as it's coming back as 0. So what do I do next? Is this just because I'm using the sandbox - do I need to try it live (thinks, must put some cheaper items in cart ;) ) and see what is happening? Jax

Right, I've read and searched back through this thread - apologies if this has already been answered and I just can't find it. I've got the contribution installed, and it works fine with the IPN test panel. However when I try to test against paypal sandbox, although I get to the sandbox with all the information set correctly, it appears that my store isn't receiving the IPNs correctly. All I get is 5 indentical debug emails, with There is no paypal response, and my store is not getting any further than pending, although the test account in the sandbox is quite happily logging the payments. Any suggestions as to where I'm going wrong here? Thanks Jax

    [CONTRIBUTION] Nochex APC Payment Module

Hi all This is my first contribution install, and I'm hoping that someone can give me quick hints as to where I might have gone wrong. I've run through the install procedure, adding text to files as per inclusions in .txt files, uploading files otherwise, and I've run the sql successfully. I now have an entry for Nochex APC in my left hand menu box in the admin section, but I don't have a nochex apc (or a secure (ssl) transaction via nochex or whatever it was) within the payment modules section. Does this sound familiar to anyone? I've checked the files several times, and my only remaining solution is to junk the whole thing and start again, so thought I'd try here first. thanks Jax
