That seems to have done the trick - thanks. Dave. -

Hi Robert I fitted your latest version (31st July) and all seemed well, however when the site got busy (50+ users at same time) the server/site came to a crawl. Toggling your contribution off in Admin and the site immediately sprang back to normal (fast) speed. Are you aware of any performance issues like this? Dave. -
PayPal WPP Direct Payments & Express Checkout Support

Hello all. Now that PayPal are rolling out UK support for Website Payments Pro, is this contribution ready to be used in the UK or does it need some more work? If not ready, is there a quick fix until an official release is ready? Thanks. -
LOL you just beat me to it of course! Yes I found that problem and can confirm the solution you give solves it. :D

Hello JanZ - I really do admire your work on the SPPC contribution. Regarding the hide groups modification, I'm having a problem with the product_info.php page. Basically all clicked products that transfer to product_info.php are returning a blank "product not found" error. The products show up fine elsewhere - in the new products page and all the index.php options. But when you click the product to see the details you get that blank page. I guess its mistakenly "hiding" the product for some reason? Anyway, I have tried installing a totally new oscommerce 2.2MS2 (November update). Installing the latest SPPC by over-writing oscommerce originals. At this point SPPC works fine - as you would expect. I then over wrote the installation with your "Hide Products" modification files. That seems to work fine - except the product_info never shows a product - they all return "product not found!" I'm stepping through the code but wonder if you could check it out as well? Simply by installing SPPC over a virgin OSC then over writing with your mod should I think show up the problem I see.

Dangling Carrot (Free Gift/Discount Contrib)

Has anyone seen the following problem? After adding a gift to the cart and then later adding another product, if you then update the quantity of the item that is listed after the gift - the quantity does not update for that product? Instead what happens is that the gift item quantity increases instead. -
Steve, I can't test this out for a while so please excuse me asking this... If you do this modification then try to use PWA with a genuine fully registered email address - does PWA still recognise that and give a genuine error for that? In this case the customer should be redirected by the error to use the existing account.

Hi Steve. Thanks for a great contribution! Can you or anyone else please try a test with the PWA mod in place? Specifically, select an item to purchase, go through the PWA option (enter a new email account etc.) then abandon the purchase when you get to the payment page. Close your browser. Launch a new browser then go back and try to buy something else through PWA - try to enter the email account details that you used earlier. Do you get an error message saying that the email account already exists? Normally PWA would delete this hung-over PWA account but I don't think it is doing that in the CSS version. Of course there could be a problem with other contributions I'm using - so I am asking for other peoples experience with CSS/PWA here.

I will certainly check it out ASAP - thanks for putting in the work Steve!

Go for it Steve! Dave.

Steve - Any success on this? :)

Hurrah! It's my lucky month, I asked about Separate Payment/Shipping and (just by chance) JanZ had it ready within days, now the same with Price Breaks... bliss! Just got the Price Breaks added - bit of a struggle with all the other contributions in the mix especially the Gift Voucher but I think it's there now. I know some people want almost every contribution rolled into the osc source code, but this one really does deserve to be there. It adds so much functionality yet can be safely ignored by those owners that only want a basic store set-up. If this contribution came out in the MS3 release it would be a big boost to osc's future development success. Cheers JanZ!
