  1. first of all I want to thank you Chemo for the most awesome work I have ever seen. A lot of people think that parsing out the URL's so that they are search engine friendly really don't mean anything, but as an seo expert myself I can tell you it makes all the difference in the world. So anyone out there that has the chance to install this contribution should do it without hesitation and be thankful like myself that there are people like Chemo out there that knows the importance of it. Now to my question. I created an articles site map so that search engines have an additional place to pick up on all the articles I create on my site. The problem I am having is that the URL's are parsing out perfectly on the site map. However, on the left nav bar the articles subtopics URL's are different as they are not parsing out the full name of the page. see the website below and take a look at the subtopic URL's under fluorescent lighting. You will see they are perfect. Now, click on the main topic fluorescent lighting and look at the subtopic URL's in the left nav bar. They are not parsing out properly. PLEASE, if you can help me with this I would greatly appreciate it as I don't want 2 different URL's with the same content as this won't look good to the search engines. Click Here to view my articles site map Thank you and keep up the good work! JJackow

    Article Manager v1.0

the article manager I have installed works fine but it would be great to add a feature. OK, let me see if I can explain this right. Working within the admin side if you add a new TOPIC which we will call (Lighting) and put ARTICLES under that topic such as (Outside lighting, home lighting, etc..) and if you look at it in a browser by clicking on the Lighting page you will see all the ARTICLES LINKS (Outside lighting, home lighting, etc..) that was placed in that particular TOPIC'S folder. If you click on any particular ARTICLES LINK (Outside lighting, home lighting, etc..) it carries you to that page. Ok, what I would like to do is have the RELATED ARTICLES LINKS located below the text on that particular page also. Currently it only shows the ARTICLE'S LINKS on a TOPICS PAGE. What this will do is interlink all related pages to one another and increase internal link structure making it easier for spiders to crawl individual pages + make it easier for people to navigate the site. PLEASE if someone could help I would GREATLY appreciate it. I have been experimenting with the articles.php and article_info.php files trying to get it to work but so far I have had no luck. Thanks!

I have the salemaker module installed and it works but when I search for a product by price using the advanced search it returns results based on the regular price of the product. I would like it to return results based on the sale price. Any suggestions? Thanks,
  5. Can someone please help me configure the GroupDiscount module so it works properly with the SaleMaker module. Right now if I assign a group discount everything works properly but if the product in question is on sale using the SaleMaker module it does not show the correct price upon checkout. I've already taken out the nodiscount text on some of the pages within the GroupDiscount module but still no go.... Any help is appreciated.
  6. I have the new attributes manager installed which works perfect. I also installed the function "Check All" that allows you to check one box under each attributes set and will check all attributes within that set. The contribution suppose to select all the attrributes within a set by simply checking a box. Problem is it's selecting every set/checkboxes on the page. Does anyone know how I can fix this so it checks off all the attributes within the selected set instead of all of the attributes on the page? I listed the URL where I got the module below if anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it. I have been pulling my hair out on this one. Contribution URL

    attributes not transferred to cart

Fixed it! I had to combine the option type 1.6 contrib and make many modifications to the files to get both contribs working together.
  8. I have installed the option type 1.6 contrib and everything works fine from start to finish but my question is this. Right now at checkout the text field looks like this of course depending on what the customer types in: :customer's text is it possible for it to look like this with the name of the option displayed in the cart along with what the customer types in the text field? name of option 1: customer's text name of option2: customer's text 2 and so on... Thanks for any help!
  9. When attributes are selected off the products page they are not transferring to the shopping cart like they suppose to be. I am using the attributes copier and sorter module. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Thanks for your help. I had to actually go in the database (phpmyadmin) and delete one of the rows under product attributes. It works fine now but when I go to add a new product all the attributes are checked by default. I am now trying to figure out how to have them all UNCHECKED by default. Suggestions are welcome. Thanks!
  11. When I go to add a new product all the attributes are checked by default. Is there a way to have them all UNCHECKED by default? I am talking about the attributes sorter and copier 5.1 module Thank you in advance!

This is very strange. I had the module working for a minute or so but when I added the option type 1.4 module things failed. I then removed the option type module and nothing has been the same since. I am not even sure it has anything to do with it but when I check off attributes in the edit products section and then click on preview and then click on update I am getting the below error. Please help if anyone knows this. 1136 - Column count doesn't match value count at row 1 insert into products_attributes values ('', '12', '3', '4', '0.0000', '', '0') [TEP STOP] Thanks in advance!
  13. I noticed the same thing. What I did was go to the SEO URLS ADMIN and reset the cache. This fixes the problem from what I can see. HOWEVER, now my Products URL's are back to the old way. I uninstalled the articles manager SEO and then reinstalled it again and everything works fine. HOWEVER, once I add a product or new article the URL's are the old way on the new ones added. If I reset the cache it fixes the articles URL but once again it puts ALL the products back to the old urls again and back I go again to the uninstall and reinstall of the Articles SEO. Works great as long as you don't add anything. Looks like these two modules are clashing with one another. BOBBY, we need your help!
  14. Thanks for the URL. However, I installed it word for word and I am getting the following error. Any suggestions? Call to undefined function: tep_get_parent_topics() in /home/httpd/vhosts/builders-lighting-hardware.com/httpdocs/includes/seo_cache.php on line 273
