  1. Hey Simon, thank you for taking the time to explain how you fixed this problem. I am faced with the same issue at this moment. I'm wondering if you wouldn't mind explaining in more detail how to fix this. From reading your post quoted above, I'm not clear on what exactly I should do to my defines in configure.php file, nor am I clear on where to amend the http:// element. You help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Todd
  2. How did you fix this? Was there a particular post you used as a guide?
  3. Hello, I have been trying to find information on how to resolve this issue for sometime now, with no luck. It seems my issue is rather unique (at least I hope not). If anyone can help, I'd appreciate it. Here's the issue: I am running this contrib on osCommerce 2.2-MS2. When I go to my catalog and define mainpage and try to upload an image (using IE 6.0, when you going to get this working for Firefox Maxi?) I get this error: Forbidden You do not have permission to access catalog/admin/htmlarea/popups/viewer.php on this server. I've tried checking to ensure that the permissions are set properly, all is ok there. Can anyone help? Maybe direct me to the forum post that addresses this issue? Thanks.
  4. Hello all, If anyone can assist me with this, I'd appreciate it. This question is in regard to the WYSIWYG html editor. When I try to upload an image to the html page, the image viewer doesn't work because my ssl server from my host is somehow preventing it. Does anyone have a suggestion as to how i may overcome this? Thank you.

    WSYWIG HTMLArea v1.7

Hello everyone, I fixed the problem. It was something to do with my configure.php file. I simply copied one over from my local distribution and....PRESTO!! No more problem. Thanks for your feedback though, your suggestions got me thinking in another direction which led to the fix. Thanks again.

    WSYWIG HTMLArea v1.7

Hello all, If anyone can help me on this one, I'll be very greatful! I fist installed the WYSIWYG contrib on my local server. All seemed to go aokay! Then I got brave and installed it on my hosted server (my production server). It looked like it installed correctly (WYSIWYG showed up in my configuration portion of my admin system). The problem is, when I go to my catalog page in admin, all I get is a blank screen. Has anyone else ever been faced with this issue? I've scoured through the forum and have not found any mention of it (it looks like I really screwed up). But I thought I'd ask just in case. Again, if you can help me out on this one, you're a King!...or..Queen! Which ever. Thank you, Tech Tyro :'(

[contribution] Package Tracking for Canada Post

It's working now. It had something to do with PayPal I think. I loaded the Moneris module and connected to their test server, everything runs like a dream now! Except for you /*Comments*/ showing on the screen ;), I'll have to go back into the code and take those out. You should maybe add a comment to the contrib to remind people to remove the comments as they install. I think I also now see the value in investing in a payment system like moneris, it's very slick and the customer never leaves my site. Thanks again Peter. Todd

[contribution] Package Tracking for Canada Post

Hi Peter, Remind me later to ask you how you can managed to go about setting up a program like this will little to no PHP experience. I'm eager to learn your tricks. :) Ok, so I've gone through the complete install and am on step 22 doing the two tests. Here's the problem. I go through the order process (Canada Post is my shipping option) and I see nothing about a tracking numer. I just skip right on through to PayPal and out. Any ideas why?
  9. Can anyone explain to my why I'm getting these errors when I try to check out running on Moneris test server? Warning: mail(): "sendmail_from" not set in php.ini or custom "From:" header missing in C:\Program Files\Apache Group\Apache2\htdocs\catalog\includes\classes\email.php on line 500 Warning: mail(): "sendmail_from" not set in php.ini or custom "From:" header missing in C:\Program Files\Apache Group\Apache2\htdocs\catalog\includes\classes\email.php on line 500 Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at C:\Program Files\Apache Group\Apache2\htdocs\catalog\includes\classes\email.php:500) in C:\Program Files\Apache Group\Apache2\htdocs\catalog\includes\functions\general.php on line 29

    Shipping advice needed

I've given up on DHL (I needed it for Canada). I'm going to be using Canada Post, a very well built system.

    Canada Post Module 3.6

Hi Peter, Thanks for all your feedback. I had managed to get it working already. Have you used CPC's test platform? I'm assuming yes. I noticed that the test platform does not seem to offer to empty space in box calculation (and show that graphic), do you know if there's a way to activate this? Also, regarding handling fee, my warehouse charges me a percentage based on the value of the order. CPC doesn't seem to allow this (although when I was working through the custom config tool, I saw and option to calculate handling based on the amount of the order). Do you know anything about that?

    Canada Post Module 3.6

Thanks for the help with that Peter. I had actually tried that previously but was trying to execute in a test table before going right into my database (that's why it wasn't working). Any how, once I tried it on the main db it worked fine. One problem though, now I have this error showing XML parsing error on my checkout page. I'm off to search for a fix, but if you have any suggestions on that, I'd appreciate it. BTW, how did you see my home page? From one of my previous posts? That's not really my home page, it'll be the OSC page once I have every running smoothly, but thanks for the eBay logo advice non the less.

    Canada Post Module 3.6

Hi, I've looked everywhere for some information on how to upload the CPMS2.sql file from the Canada Post module to my database, and have had no luck. I am using phpmyadmin. Can someone please steer me in the correct direction on some docs that will explain to me how to do this? Thank you.

    Shipping advice needed

That's exactly what I need. Can we work together on this or when will you have it available? Who are you talking to at DHL? I've tried and got no where.

    Shipping advice needed

Alright, here goes. I'll be using DHL in Canada to ship good through out Canada and to the US. They've given me a Zone table that ground rate for each zone. As an example. shipping to zone 100 (Lower Mainland - British Columbia) / 0-10 lbs. = 7.50 then each additional lb. $.14. To the US has a similar structure. Can anyone assist me with how I can use an exsisting shipping mod to make this work? I'm also hopping to find away to have the system calculate cubic meters 2 on each order so that my warehouse knows what size a box to use for packaging. Any assistance or advice on this would be greatly appreciated.
