  1. Hiya, This is probably dead simple, but ill ask as i havent got a clue. I want to add in a new side info box which will show my Skype status. Now of course the STS wont have a code for the template to call this box - so what file(s) do i need to change to make this work? If i can do this of course. Thanks for your help. Mark
  2. Hi Howard, Thanks for the prompt reply. I will go and see if I can look into this one and if I do find the fix, ill post it here so that others who may have the same problem will have a simple fix. Mark
  3. Hiya, Great mod. However im a user of STS so how can I add this info box to my template? Normally STS has a list of codes ect, but of course with nice new mods like this I tend to find that im stuck. Thanks, Mark
  4. Hiya, Ive got a problem with the IPN module all of a sudden and it is asking for the OSC password on the PayPal page when it goes to load my sites logo into the PayPal page. Now after reading some of the other problems here im thinking does this have something to do with PayPal? If not can anyone help with my problem please?
  5. fixed! Ooops i added some code into my filenames.php which wasnt needed! What a wally! lol
  6. Hiya, Great mod im really impressed and the install I thought went quite well until I opened my /admin/index.php and none of my admin links will work other than the Affiliate one. The link goes to: admin/FILENAME_BACKUP?selected_box=tools Now ive worked out that the "FILENAME_BACKUP?" is my problem and im guessing ive done something dead silly, however i cant spot it. So is anyone able to help me on this matter? Thanks in advance for your help. Mark
  7. Really good mod. Just done the install and really, really impressed. I have a suggestion for an improvement, please dont think im been cheeky by asking, but as a bit of a sad case that has a knoledge of web marketing and all things that way, would it be possible to create a list of say the last 5 clicks the user made? I think this would be interesting because realy we should all be aiming to get our customers to buy within the 5 clicks rule. Again I dont mind giving help in anything that could be useful, however my technical php skills are not that good sadly so my support would have to really be via the knoledge of what would be interesting to know for store owners. However get mod and really impressed!
  8. So you want the shipping to based on the price that your customer is paying? If so then I think the same trick as above can be used, however us the minmim order value option to set aditional add ons to the postage rate.
  9. Ive just made the same trick work by mod. of a shipping zones one, replacing all other weights apart from 0 - hence giving the lowest cost always. However thanks for the country codes.
  10. I would like exactly the same - how do i set those zone rates ect. what you suggest above as this is really one area of OSCommerce I have really no knolege of. All help would be great.
  11. Fixed - im sooooooo thick. :-" I did not stick the correct site path into the config file. So im sorry to bother you all, and from what I have see of the contrib so far - its great and i'll pop you at the top of the list for my next donation I make to an oscommerce author mod.
  12. Ive checked all files in the correct place and ive read and made changes suggested but still no joy. I thought it must be the laguages files with that error - but they are all in the correct place. Im lost.
  13. Hi all, Installed the mod and all seemed well until I did a test purchase and got the following message; Warning: main(/home/public_html/shop/admin/includes/languages/english/invoice.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/myideal/public_html/shop/includes/modules/email_invoice/email_invoice.php on line 30 Warning: main(/home/public_html/shop/admin/includes/languages/english/invoice.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/myideal/public_html/shop/includes/modules/email_invoice/email_invoice.php on line 30 Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required '/home/public_html/shop/admin/includes/languages/english/invoice.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/myideal/public_html/shop/includes/modules/email_invoice/email_invoice.php on line 30 This was on the checkout_process.php page. Now im guessing ive done something silly wrong  , so all help that people can give would be great. Thanks in advance for your help oh and the mod looks great btw. Oh my site can be found at www.my-ideal.com just incase people were interested. ;)
  14. Thanks Bobby, That is really quite simple and thank you for explaining what to do as now I know how to do it on many of your other excelent contributions. Regards, Mark
  15. Hi all, Just done the install and I get the following mesage; Warning: fopen(/cache/seo_english.cache): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/myideal/public_html/shop/includes/seo_cache.php on line 199 Warning: fwrite(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in /home/myideal/public_html/shop/includes/seo_cache.php on line 200 Warning: fclose(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in /home/myideal/public_html/shop/includes/seo_cache.php on line 201 Warning: main(/cache/seo_english.cache): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/myideal/public_html/shop/includes/seo_cache.php on line 204 Warning: main(/cache/seo_english.cache): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/myideal/public_html/shop/includes/seo_cache.php on line 204 Warning: main(): Failed opening '/cache/seo_english.cache' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/myideal/public_html/shop/includes/seo_cache.php on line 204 Now I guess I have messed up the cache file up, so can I ask how I write my cache file into the system. It is located in a folder called cache in a folder inside my catalogue.
