    Minimum Shipping Charge

What would be the best way to go about creating a minimum shipping charge that would disappear based on the shipping amount? We are working with a distributor, so I need our shipping to match theirs. They charge a flat rate of $2.00 for shipping until the total shipping charge is more than $2.00, at which point they just use the actual shipping charge. Can't find a contribution that seems to fit. Will this be easy :P or do I need to work on coding this one out somehow? Thanks! Wendy
  2. Dave, I had both of these installed before & the best I could do was to only use EP to ADD new products, but had to do the attributes separately through Admin. I could never use my same Excel file to upload a new one (I had hoped to keep a separate Excel file for backup & for making global changes) or it would wipe out all installed attribs for current products. Kind of a pain there. I think I have seen a version of EP that will handle the attributes, but I haven't tried it, and don't remember if I saw it in Contributions or just discussed on the forums. MOECTOE Suite public BETA 1 Support

Can someone point me to the most recent version of this? I am confused by the links given. Also, does this work well with SPPC? Has anyone used these together? Thanks a million! Wendy

    Hide Price if $0 + MyWishList 1.0

Thank you, Jan. I will work on this after I get some sleep (was up all night working on it last night) & will post here when I get it working. Thanks! Wendy
  5. Here is a little snippet of code, for posterity. I have both of these contribs & found a little back-door by which a non-purchasable item (with price of zero) could be added to the cart & purchased when it was added to the cart from the Wishlist. Just one question - now it is not showing "Add to Cart" for any of the items. I'm working on this. Can any PHP-whizzes see where I've gone wrong right away? In includes/modules/wishlistdetails.php: From changed code to end of file: echo ' </td>' . "\n"; ?> <td valign="top" class="main"><a href="<?php echo tep_href_link(basename($PHP_SELF), tep_get_all_get_params(array('action')) . 'action=cust_order&pid=' . $products[$i]['id'], 'NONSSL'); ?>"><?php (($product_info['products_price'] > 0) ? BOX_TEXT_MOVE_TO_CART : ''); ?> </a> <br><a href="<?php echo tep_href_link(basename($PHP_SELF), tep_get_all_get_params(array('action')) . 'action=remove_wishlist&pid=' . $products[$i]['id'], 'NONSSL'); ?>"><?php echo BOX_TEXT_DELETE; ?></a><br> <? echo ' </td>' . "\n"; echo ' </tr>' . "\n"; } ?> <!-- order_details_eof --> In includes/boxes/wishlist.php: only the code near "BOX_MOVE_TO_CART" has been changed, but code around it is listed, so it is easier to find: $wishlist_contents_string .= $products[$i]['name'] . "<br>". '<a href="' . tep_href_link(FILENAME_WISHLIST, tep_get_all_get_params(array('action')) . 'action=cust_order&pid=' . $products[$i]['id'] . '&rfw=1', 'NONSSL') . '">' . tep_draw_hidden_field('products_id', $product_info['products_id']) . (($product_info['products_price'] > 0) ? (' -' . BOX_TEXT_MOVE_TO_CART) : '') . '</a>' . "\n" . ' <a href="' . tep_href_link(FILENAME_WISHLIST, tep_get_all_get_params(array('action')) . 'action=remove_wishlist&pid=' . $products[$i]['id'], 'NONSSL') . '">' . ' -' . BOX_TEXT_DELETE . '</a>' . "\n" .'</span></a></td></tr>'; Wendy
  6. Have you looked at B2B & Separate Pricing Per Customer?

    Hiding Price & Add-to-Cart Buttons

Aaaahhhh, very good-I can set special prices still, then. I wish I'd downloaded that contrib (instead of just bookmarking it) before that part of the site went down today. Enforced evening off! Woot! I'm going to go watch TV. Thank you, Jan, for your help!
  8. Before I move forward with the "Hide Price if $0" contrib, I'm wondering if there is another option to hide just prices & "add to cart" capabilities for certain products for certain groups. We offer "freebies" from time to time & obviously, you can't do that with this contrib! It isn't a big deal, but I just wondered if I'd missed one. Using B2B & "Hide Price" contribs to break products into two categories -- one set of products listed at full price for retail & discounted for wholesale, and one set that is advertising to retail only & prices only available for logged-in wholesale members. Just asking because lately I don't seem to be getting good results when I search . . . Thanks! Wendy

    Total B2B

I finally got B2B installed after taking out superfluous contribs :-" And everything is working well except that the "default" customer group can't log in at all, even after being approved. Is there a setting somewhere that I inadvertently set incorrectly? Customers set to the "wholesale" group can log in. Didn't find this in the support thread. Thanks! Wendy

    B2B Install Problems

Am I the first person to have this problem? :(

    B2B Install Problems

I think I may have to talk to my partner & do some simplification. The major contribs I suspect may be causing problems with the B2B installation are: --option type feature 1.7 --add weight to product attribute --possibly the cc/gv contribution Have any of you installed B2B & had trouble with these? Also, I don't remember installing anything to allow "specials" on products, or which contrib this came with, but this is part of the code I'm having a lot of trouble installing the B2B around. Main problems showing up: undefined function tep_xppp_getpricesnum() & "table_customers_groups" doesn't exist". I've gone back through installation twice, so I am wondering if it is an interference with some of this other code. If anyone has any experience or help to offer, I would sure appreciate it! Thanks, Wendy --so grateful I learned on here to set up a test domain . . .

    Newseletter w/o Account

Adding here (for clarification) -- What I don't understand in these install directions is that many things are listed for all the past versions of the contrib, and I don't know if I can ignore this whole section of the instructions since I have no former version installed... whether I just need to file compare & add the code to each file here & do the sql part. It appears that instructions are given for updating from each particular version of the contrib (which is very cool for author to do) -- but I want to make sure before I mess something up badly. Thanks, Wendy
  13. I don't usually post this kind of question -- but in searching the forums & contribs, I can't come up with a good answer. This subject is coming up a lot recently . . . I would really like to have this option for people who are watching our site for the upcoming products but don't want to open an account just yet (most people don't want to unless they are ready to buy). A few days ago I downloaded newsletter_subcribers_v052 and I'm sure it is just my own stupidity, but I really don't understand the install directions at all, & I'm a bit afraid to embark on it. Can anyone direct me to whether this is the best working contrib for this purpose, or which one is the most debugged & most stable? I don't intend to slam any particular contrib (all the authors are WAY above me in coding skills & I appreciate ALL the hard work that goes into those contribs for no pay or reward) -- so if I have the best one, I'll try to muddle through the install & see if I can get some help on that. Thanks, Wendy
  14. Hello -- I am trying to put up purchasable gift vouchers on my site for the first time, and I did this per the install instructions. However, when I do a test purchase, the GV never shows up anywhere after purchase. Get regular "Order Process" email, but never receive an email with a code in it (not sure if this should happen or cart should update). Nothing showing in Queue. Haven't seen anything else on this when searching forums. I would appreciate any suggestions! Wendy --created product --gave it model # beginning with "GIFT" --everything else installed & has been running properly for some time . . .
  15. Hello -- I'm trying to find out if it is possible to block sales to certain areas based on zip code. Next -- if I am asking customers to use bare minimum info to be able to log in, can I get them to use a zip code & OSC still be able to correctly assign state taxes in one state? If these things are not possible at this time (without my own custom coding), just knowing that will be helpful. Thanks! Wendy
