  1. Go back to the contribution download page and make sure that there is not another package you must have in order for your version to function
  2. The insert is done by the function tep_database_perform which may be found in catalog/includes/functions/database.php - do not mess with this to solve your problem. What exactly do you mean by 'billing information'?
  3. It is a custom function that is part of the contribution - most likely supposed to be added in catalog/includes/functions/general.php do a search through your contribution files for: function get_tax_rate_from_desc

    Hmm... unusual - I'll email you the files tonight - though I would be waiting for Blueline's contrib - sounds great! 8) Chris - are you going to have selectable column/list display like we discussed..?
  9. This is SO wrong - please read the GPL - then, as someone once said, please read it again. :roll: I am sure there will be an MS2 release soon enough.

    There is a bit of redundant code that *should* be passed over when parsed, but in some installations there seems to be a problem. I will update the files this weekend, removing any excess fat and see if this may help. Aezalpha has in fact solved the problem, but has not posted the solution as yet.

    Are you using the latest updated files? Please make sure that your installation has the trans_sid settings found the .htaccess file in the package

    For me the same problem. How you have decided it? This has already been discussed - if a product has attributes the user is directed to the product_info page where they can select the desired attributes and add it to their cart - this is one of the issues being addressed for the next release

    Product Listing Contribution

    You have not run a database file included in the contribution - you *may* also be missing a language file

    You can configure it in admin>configuration>Family Products>Location of Previous/Next Navigation Bar - set it to 1 to display it at the top, 2 at the bottom, and 3 for both

    The contribution files have been updated - correcting a bug when viewing products from the shopping cart back to product_info.php. Please update your installations. The files may be downloaded here: http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,1429
  20. I think it would be nice if threads in the Contributions channel could only be initiated by contributors, thus keeping a check on threads by those unwilling to look - and a team of you wonderful people out there gleaning useful info perhaps into a Contributions FAQ section in Wiki A way to divide the threads would be nice - I don't know how difficult any of this is - we are soon going over to Invision Power Board :D

    Ok - you have found a bug :? Here is the fix 8) In product_info.php replace: $currentid = $HTTP_GET_VARS['products_id']; $family_query = tep_db_query("select products_family from " . TABLE_PRODUCTS . " where products_id = " . $currentid . ""); with: $family_query = tep_db_query("select products_family from " . TABLE_PRODUCTS . " where products_id = '" . (int)$HTTP_GET_VARS['products_id'] . "'"); ....and in family_products.php from line 19 replace: $currentid = $HTTP_GET_VARS['products_id']; $family_query = tep_db_query("select products_family from " . TABLE_PRODUCTS . " where products_id = " . $currentid); with: $family_query = tep_db_query("select products_family from " . TABLE_PRODUCTS . " where products_id = '" . (int)$HTTP_GET_VARS['products_id'] . "'"); and on line 66 replace: $family_sql = "select p.products_id, p.manufacturers_id, p.products_model, p.products_image, p.products_tax_class_id, pd.products_name, s.specials_new_products_price, s.status, p.products_price, p.products_family, m.manufacturers_name from ". TABLE_PRODUCTS_DESCRIPTION . " pd, " . TABLE_MANUFACTURERS . " m, " . TABLE_PRODUCTS . " p left join " . TABLE_SPECIALS . " s on p.products_id = s.products_id where p.products_id = pd.products_id and p.products_family = '" . $thisquery['products_family'] . "' and p.products_id = pd.products_id and p.manufacturers_id = m.manufacturers_id and p.products_status = '1' and pd.language_id = '" . (int)$languages_id . "'"; with: $family_sql = "select p.products_id, p.manufacturers_id, p.products_model, p.products_image, p.products_tax_class_id, pd.products_name, s.specials_new_products_price, s.status, p.products_price, p.products_family, m.manufacturers_name from ". TABLE_PRODUCTS_DESCRIPTION . " pd, " . TABLE_MANUFACTURERS . " m, " . TABLE_PRODUCTS . " p left join " . TABLE_SPECIALS . " s on p.products_id = s.products_id where p.products_id !=" . "' and p.manufacturers_id = m.manufacturers_id and p.products_status = '1' and pd.language_id = '" . (int)$languages_id . "'"; I will update the contribution files today :wink:

    Thanks Mary Anne - glad you got it sorted - both you and Lonny based your mods on the outdated application_top.php from the original contribution - I haven't pinpointed it yet, but when I was able to repeat the error using your files I could see that products_id was missing from the database query - ie. the variable was lost before that part of the script. Oh... and you explained it beautifully - I just added some "code" tags to your post to make it clearer 8)

    [CONTRIBUTION] Wishlist-update_MS1

    I was able to duplicate your errors by installing a copy of your application_top.php - you should download the updated files from contributions :shock: The error disappeared when I pasted the following into the files - it looks exactly the same, but it cleared the error 8) tep_db_query("delete from " . TABLE_WISHLIST . " WHERE customers_id=$customer_id AND products_id=$pid");

    No it does not - that is something I have considered - I think it would be useful for many people.

    I have spoken to Chris Sullivan, who contributed the original Family Products, and he has indicated a renewed interest in developing this contribution further :D - there is a need for a drop menu in admin for selecting product families already in the database - I believe he is now working on this.
